4 Tingly Good Stars ⭐
A CFO and a Christmas Ornament designer, uptight and arty, those two shall not meet in the middle; I didn't say anything about not shagging. Both W.B. Darling and Joy Knews have been recently hired to save Kane Co. from financial ruin. Except where they should be collaborating on the Christmas budget, they're plotting against each other.
I ended up drawing a dick because it seemed to fit my thoughts of Mr. Darling.
However, because this was a Christmas ornament company, I also drew a wreath that hung from it. A perfect design for Mr. Darling.
I would name it Jingle Balls.
Both have a stake in making this partnership successful. It may take a little time before W.B. and Joy warm to each other and let go of their initial reservation’s but there is no denying that they like spending time together. However, it doesn't change their dissimilarities. Where W.B. is on this constant path of achieving life goals, Joy enjoys living in the moment.
“Cats. You think I want a lot of cats?” I pursed my lips.
“Since I couldn’t bring you my vagina ornaments, I had to get a little creative.”
“Pussies,” he said, completely nonplussed. “You brought me pussies to put on my tree.”
I couldn’t help myself and started laughing. Cackling, really.
“You are unique, Joy.”
What neither realize is how well they complement each other. And of course, there is that unexplainable attraction. When a serious gamechanger occurs, every reason they’ve been fighting to remain apart becomes inconsequential.
“I’m an asshole,” I whispered even as I reached up to cup her cheek.
“I agree,” she whispered back. “But it turns out I sort of like assholes.”
This book was wonderful due to the sweetest slow build and cutesy moments. There was this fabulous role reversal where our hero W.B. was on the hunt for a ‘suitable’ wife to complete this ideal he carried in his mind. Not once did Joy mock him even though she thought he was mad. The moment W.B. realized the perfect woman was under his nose, it was complete swoon.

Oooooh, I did not expect to love this so much!!
It was a very well done enemies-to-lovers with two wonderful characters. There was so much feeling, humor, and hotness. I didn't want the story to end.

A cute Christmas novella, I didn’t expect to love. I really wanted to know what W.B.'s Name is and it didn’t disappoint. How can you not love the private parts ornaments?

This story had everything going for it the first half of it and I was really enjoying the tension between our two MCs. Grumpy CFO, W.B. (I'm not even going to talk about what those initials stand for and how ridiculous it is), is looking for a wife and using a matchmaking service to find an "acceptable" companion. The last person he'd ever think he would be attracted to is the sunshine Christmas ornament designer, Joy (again, we're not going to talk about how ridiculous her birth name is), who is a free spirit and loves pushing W.B.'s buttons.
About half-way things started to go downhill for me... the story got very, I hate to say it, very cheesy.

I found myself laughing during many scenes in Santa Baby, Maybe. This cute but sexy opposites attract story features a by the book, rule following CFO and an ornament designer for a Christmas ornament company that was on the brink of financial ruin but with some smart moves and a merger is doing better than ever.
Joy and W.B. don’t get off on the best foot largely in part because he projects his mommy issues on her because of the way she dresses and her profession as an artist. I hated the way W.B. treated Joy for a good part of this story, but I also liked him which I know is weird but there you have it. Joy on the other hand was amazing. Smart, funny, talented and took no crap from anyone especially W.B.
This book starts out at the company Christmas party and then takes us back through the events that led to that moment which was kind of unique and cool. I enjoyed watching their relationship change and grow throughout this story.
Santa Baby, Maybe was an entertaining and fun holiday story with a twist.

A workplace, enemies to lovers romance and a possible oops baby story all in one. I unfortunately wasn’t as into WB and Joy’s story. I just never felt as connected with him as I did with the men in the other two stories. I did still enjoy this one and am happy I read it, just didn’t love it as much as the other two. If you like number crunching, serious, uptight men - WB is the hero for you. I’ve just seen the type done better and hotter (like in 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘰𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦).

A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I absolutely loved Joy and W.B.'s story! It was the perfect holiday book! I wish I had read it next to the tree with a hot cup of coffee but cozy blanket and baby snuggles do the trick as well :)

I'm the biggest Grinch this year with Christmas novellas, maybe it's just the toll of 2020 making it harder for me to focus and read them? Idk it's only 150 pages and it took me over 24 hours to get through ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That said it was still cute and fine, no doubt lots of people will love it. I just found it a bit boring and misleading.

I thought this would heavily feature one of my favorite tropes: accidental pregnancy, and it definitely didn't at all so that was a let down because it was a big reason I was interested in reading this lol I get that it's Santa Baby, Maybe? so there was nothing truly misleading by the author, I just thought it was cute wording and that we would see a pregnancy and that it would happen early on and be a cute, festive, Christmas oops baby. Instead they're taking a pregnancy test on the last page basically and it's negative ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just not what I was looking for but still an okay read.
That said it was still cute and fine, no doubt lots of people will love it. I just found it a bit boring and misleading.

Next in the series is WB and Joy- loved the name reveal at the end, very cute.
WB is the classic uptight, rigid hunk that doesn't factor love into his calculations so when he meets Joy, it changes everything. Its a well used trope but this one is done well. Cute and steamy short read.
I like the Christmas business angle and the high end ornaments, it sets it apart from other stories.
Update- I read all 3 and this one was probably my favorite. It was close though.

such a funny and sweet christmas novella! i loved how joy and w.b were perfect for each other despite their many differences. although this book doesn’t even have 200 pages, their development didn’t feel rushed and was actually very believable. bonus points for the cutest epilogue ever!!
the only thing that annoyed me a little was that the accidental pregnancy trope wasn’t the focus of the story :(

i was definitely drawn towards wes & penny’s story in the first book more than joy & w.b’s story here, but their romance was still cute. i liked the whole opposites attract thing going on between them. i really liked how even though w.b had issues in his childhood growing up where things were severely inconsistent he still made it a point to always be there for joy. when joy sprained her ankle & he literally helped her sleep more comfortably by elevating her ankle all night, it was such a caring gesture. he showed he did love her even though he fought it a lot.
jake was such a fiesty cat, but his personality definitely added to their family dynamic. i loved that the christmas theme here carried over from the first book, but explored the artistic & financial side more than ceo positions. overall a cute holiday read.

Me gustó bastante!! La protagonista, Joy, me agradó y me encantó su actitud!!Del prota al comienzo me pareció medio insoportable su actitud pero ya luego me gustó
De resto me pareció buena la trama, un poco cliché pero eso lo vas a encontrar en casi todos los libros... pero me agradaron los personajes y como se desarrolló todo, me disfruté la lectura!!

This was the second In a three book series and I absolutely loved it!
I enjoyed it more than the first one and wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much.
We have Joy and W.B (yep that’s his name!). Joy is the a free spirited, flowy dress wearing head Christmas ornament designer at Kane Co Christmas company. W.B is the Chief Finance Officer at the company, he is uptight, wears a tie every day and has a real issue with sparkly toe rings.
Watch as they navigate their working relationship. Is that a romantic spark they feel or are they just too different?
Pick up the book and find out, the story of Joy and W.B will keep you hooked all the way through to the end.
I hope the author decides to turn this novella into a full length novel. I’d love to explore these characters and this world more.

Oh goodness, I just loved this story! It’s so fun and sweet.
I love W.B. and Joy. Their chemistry is off the charts. And while they may think they have nothing in common, they are just perfect together. Their banter was so much fun. I smiled and chuckled throughout this story. Getting to know W.B. and seeing into his past and knowing why he kept himself so closed off made it great getting to know him and seeing him for who he really is. He’s so caring and I love the way he cares for Joy.
This story gives you the warm and fuzzies. It’s fun and so very heartfelt and will leave a big smile on your face.

Absolutely adored Joy! She is just all the good things and is helping keep Kane industries thriving. She is the new lead ornament designer and she is a lovely free spirit. All the things that W.B. just does not tolerate.
W.B. is a man on a mission and he has spread sheets to show you how he will succeed. He's brought Kane back from the brink of financial disaster and now he needs to go ahead and get that whole wife thing locked down. What do we know about ridiculously smart men in romance? They are clueless about love and all matters of the heart. W.B. just cant figure out why he is so drawn to Joy and has this need to protect her. Get it together W.B. she wears toe rings after all and that is unacceptable.
These two are explosive when the sparks finally ignite but of course equally explosive when things fall apart. I was beyond pissed off with W.B. and his nonsense. Their push and pull id finally brought together and these two get their happy ending and the sweetest epilogue. I have really enjoyed this Christmas trio.

Once again, I LOVED this one! This little Christmas Ornament company has my heart. Overlapping with the first book, we got some time jumps that were just perfect. The fact that both of them tried to get the other one fired is the definition of enemies to lovers. This one was top notch with the humor, tension, spice, and emotion.

A bit silly and over the top. But still a really cute story. I liked that it wasn't an insta-love story. W.B. and Blessing (for real with this name???) knew each other for several months before anything happens. Not nearly as spicy I was thinking, considering the inner dialogue of the characters in the beginning.

The spelling and grammar mistakes ruined it for me
I really enjoyed the 1st book of this series and was excited to jump into the 2nd book but as I read the book I kept finding spelling and grammar errors and it made me not want to read the book or any more by the author, which is unfortunate

Another 4.5 (for a Christmas romance novel)
I nearly stopped after the first chapter, because I was so thrown off by the pacing. Only then did I realize that the book starts off with the present and then goes a few months back in time.
It was cute and made me smile

Is the plot of this book a little silly? For sure. Its told mostly in flash back chapters but honestly this one just works even if its normally I trope I dislike.
