I am not ashamed to call myself a Jody Holford fan. Not only does she have a way with words, she has a way with emotions as well. She speaks to the heart at it's most vulnerable. Somehow through all the heartache and insecurity she manages to find a smile at the end of the rainbow. With Holly and Cash she reveals love at it's most fragile and hope at it's most powerful. Falling For Holly is a mesmerizing experience.

Holly has created a list and checked it twice to prove her ex wrong. When she walked into the tattoo shop she was supposed to walk out with a tattoo and not the sexy man who gave her the said tattoo. When Holly walked into Cash’s business the two things he did know is that she didn’t belong there and that he wanted to see her again.

They are drawn to each other both physically and emotionally but for them to have a future together they must first make peace with the past.

Can a book make you sigh with happiness? Well Jody Holford book Falling for Holly did just that. Holly was such a sweet character who wants to break out of the rut she’s found in, and her first step.....a tattoo! Then there’s Cash..he’s my book crush! He’s so sexy and sweet, confident but vulnerable, he’s just so “🥰” The chemistry these two have is unbelievable but they share a deeper connection. It’s so well written and am hoping for Carter to get his HEA. I love a Jody Holford book...and this ...more

Jody Holford takes readers back to Angel Lake with this new novella!

Novellas can be hit or miss for me as sometimes the book is too short for real character or relationship development. However, I really enjoyed Cash and Holly's romance. I felt like it hit the right notes and was a great afternoon read.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

I loved seeing the relationship between Holly and Cash develop. Opposites on the outside, they end up healing and helping each other through their pasts. I had a big smile on my face practically the whole time I was reading. It's just an overall feel-good romance.

I am late to the party with Jody Holford's Angel's Lake series (this is book 6) but Falling for Holly has definitely made me want to go back and read the preceding novels. She has crafted such a wonderful little world in Angel's Lake with fantastic characters. This novel centres on Holly, a city hall admin assistant, whose ex inspired a "Holiday Adventure Wish List." The first item on her list is to get a tattoo, so one night she walks into Marked, a popular tattoo parlour owned by Cash Jones. H ...more

Holly stopped by a tattoo shop that Cash ran, looking to cross off the first of five things she wanted to dare herself to do so she would not be boring, as her ex had stated once. The meaningful tattoo he added to her wrist was the start of something so strong that it breaks through both their barriers and bad histories. The two characters are strong and have survived so much, but both feel not worthy of happiness and companionship. They start daring each other to do things, like going to a Chri ...more

Reading the blurb and then seeing the the cover I knew I needed to read this one. I loved it was set during Christmas. That was a huge draw for me too. I can't tell you how much I loved Holly and Cash. They are so adorable together. Holly softens Cash's hard edges. One of my favorite parts of the book was how Holly brought the love of the holiday back to Cash. Cash's backstory is one that hits you in the heart, but to see the man he became is a testament to his true character. This book

This is the first book I have read in this series and I have sat reading this for the most part with a big smile on my face. I have loved watching Holly and Cash meet and fall in love, their journey was beautifully told, the ups and the downs. Seeing them happy made me feel happy. The characters were developed and the story flowed well, I wish Ed could have appeared more just to see more of his relationship with Cash. I will definitely be reading this one again when I want to feel happy and feel ...more

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written, heartfelt, feel good read. Cash and Holly are both a little broken, but they make a great couple and help each other to heal. Cash is a loner and doesn’t mess with relationships, well he doesn’t until Holly comes along and turns his world upside down. Holly is looking to spice up her life. Her ex told her she was boring, and she feels like her life is in a rut. She shows up one night at Cash’s tattoo parlor looking at finally getting that tattoo s ...more

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Holly and Cash have a sweet love story full of emotion. A simple list starts off a world of change for these two. The moment they see each other, there is amazing attraction. They make the cutest couple that complete each other very well. This was well written short story and I did not want to put it down

Book six in the Angel’s Lake series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Holly Schwartz and Cash Jones' story has two damaged people who make each other whole. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. I would like Carter to get a story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
