A teenage girl’s unnatural obsession with an ancient coin leads to bloodshed. Supernatural evil bides its time, as it lurks within the gears of an old grandfather clock. And a new bride discovers her mother-in-law is willing to go to terrifying lengths to build the perfect family…

Scare Street is proud to present fourteen chilling tales of the supernatural, in one sinister volume. This bone-chilling collection of supernatural horror was curated just for you, each tale pulled from the shadows of your hidden fears and darkest nightmares.

Can you hear the ghostly voices wailing in the mists? They call out to you, summoning you once again to the land of shadows. The warm light of your room grows faint and distant, as you descend into their nightmarish underworld.

The shadows have you in their grasp. And all you can do is turn another page, as the light goes out once and for all…

Enjoyable!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a treasure. Full of A+ stories that helped make this a five star book.

And Ron Ripley is a terrific author. A true tour de force. His best stories are the ones that are placed in Anger, New Hampshire. But I love all of his stories. They are so good.

All the other authors are great, too. David Longhorn, Sarah Clancy and Bronson Carey put forth a great effort in their storytelling.

This is an incredible five star book. Filled with horrifying stories.

Five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After finishing every Scare Street book I think there is no way they could get any better, but they do and this Volume of Terror in the Shadows is proof. This one is richly blessed with Ron Ripley stories, always worth the time. The stories often focus on the evil that resides within us all and can come forth at any time. There are ghosts, to be sure, but also evil in the living beings. The stories are often told from the point of view of the victim, which makes it all the more eerie.
If you haven't read any of these marvelous books, I strongly suggest you do so. They will scare you, I make no bones about it (pardon the pun - I had to do it), but they also provide you with a welcome respite from the dismal reality we are all in.

Great anthology of horror stories. A lot of these center around ghosts who are seeking revenge. There's no escaping the demons, not even your own home. I would stay away from the sewer though! You can't go wrong with the authors from Scare Street.

Revenge is best served cold - and well, these ghosts are out for their own revenge.
Scare Street does it again with a well-rounded book of horrorific short stories, and you will want to read these more than once! Get ready for a night of shivers of delight!
