I knew from reading The Wolf, that I would love this series a lot. And I was NOT wrong! I was super curious about Storm and about Pope in that book, so I was really excited to see them get their own story.
These two were both a hot mess! I love/hate when characters are bull-headed. Luckily, we didn't have to wait too long for Storm, but of course Pope wasn't quite as smart. Wow!! This book hit me straight in the center of my heart. It made me so emotional at times. There was no other way but to feel what every one of the characters felt at times. I loved the book. It just seemed a bit short. I wished it was longer. Overall it was great and i could not put it down once I started reading.

Jade Marshall did a great job on this story. The Pope had a strong plot that was written well, it was packed with many emotions. Pope and Storm were strong characters that have been through a lot. Their journey had many ups and downs but they were drawn to each other, their connection and chemistry was strong, it was sexy, they were good together.

What a rollercoaster ride of emotions and events. Great characters along with a good plot. Some major twists and turns plus action and suspense. This book grabs your attention from the start and keeps it right to the end. Hope that there will be additional books in this series.

This is the first time i have read a story from Jade Marshall and i really liked it, it has all the feels and action that kept me invested, i love MC for the loyalty and family and Pope and Storm are wonderful characters.

I just finished reading reading about Storm and Pope and how they both overcome the obstacles that are thrown in front of them. I really like reading this book and I hope there are more books to come. There are too many characters that need their stories to be told.

The first book in the series was great, this second is even better!

This book has some hard-to-read bits, but they make sense and help move the story along plus bring up some ideas of what will happen in the future. Well worth a look. ...more
