This is a pretty fantastic tool to aid in your a Bible studies. Based on the bestselling book, How to Study Your Bible, it gives you a brief 38 page insight from the book and then allows you to do your studies at your own pace and record dates and subjects. You could also journal sermons but the Bible study would be more interesting to do with this book. And the cover is beautiful! Very nice indeed. And it would make beautiful gifts for any woman.

Thanks to Barbour for a copy of this book. I was not required to leave a review and the opinion here is my own.

Are you looking for a journal to keep track of your Bible reflections? A Bible Study Journal For Women from Barbour Publishing is gorgeous both inside and out and also quite user-friendly.

A Bible Study Journal For Women starts out with 38 pages of insights from the bestselling book, How to Study the Bible. There is a lot of good information in this short space on preparing to study the Bible, various styles of studying the Bible, using Bible study helps and getting motivated to study the Bible. The rest of the book is beautifully illustrated blank Bible study pages that are ready to use.

I was so impressed by the quality of A Bible Study Journal For Women. The pages are fairly thick with plenty of lines. Yet, I could see using this journal not only to write but to do some art journaling as well. I also found the brief introductory pages to be full of good reminders and information on studying the Bible, even as a more mature Christian. It has a flexible cover with a beautiful first page to write your name on and a ribbon marker within the binding to save your page spot. It would be beautiful to purchase for your own studying and it would also make a nice gift for a woman of any age.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review. All opinions within this review are my own.

It’s no secret that I LOVE journals. Especially ones that center on Scripture. Not only is the spiritual concept of this journal superb, but the artwork on the flexible cover and internal pages is so pretty! And I really like the textured feel of the sturdy soft cover.

The first 30 pages of A Bible Study Journal for Women reveals a condensed version of the book How to Study the Bible, by Robert M. West. This section helps readers prepare their hearts for Bible study so they can discover what Scripture means, how to apply what they learn to their daily lives, etc.

The rest of this journal contains gorgeous, lined journaling pages for you to reflect on Scripture and write your thoughts. At the top of each page there’s a space to document the date and study topic and the remainder of the page is lined. And a special plus is the attached marker ribbon to keep your place. (I love it when a bookmark ribbon is included!)

This book is absolutely GORGEOUS! The cover and the pages are just so exquisite! It feels like this book can be a keepsake and something that I treasure long after it is filled up.

Digging deeper in to the Bible is something that has been on my heart lately and this book/journal will help me to do that. The first five chapters talk about different ways to study the Bible and then different tools that can be used. The rest of the book is used for documenting the topic that you have studied and how it applies to your life or what you have learned from it.

What first struck me when I picked up A Bible Study for Women was the gorgeous cover and the feel of it. I am a sucker for soft binding, and this study book has that soft binding, is the perfect size, it stays open where you want it to, and has a ribbon marker to always mark where you leave off. It has a wonderful texture, the colors are inviting, and the pages are made from a thicker, more quality paper, which would be perfect for artistic journaling, if you prefer that sort of thing. I myself am artistically challenged, so I will stick with using it for writing...and maybe some cute doodling.

The first part of the journal is insights from How to Study the Bible, which I found refreshing! There is everything from preparation before beginning your Bible study, as well as different study styles, and motivational tips, which I really found helpful.

The rest of the study is blank pages for you to use how you please. The pages are lined, with a place to put the date and study topic, as well as a nice floral border. I could see using these pages to write daily Scripture, sermon or Sunday school notes, small group notes, or use it for your private Bible study time.

This would be the perfect gift for any occasion and any woman on your gift list, yourself included! This is a wonderful resource that I can't recommend enough!

*I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through JustRead Tours. All views and opinions expressed are completely honest, and my own.

The Bible Study Journal for Women is everything you need to help you further dive into God's Word during daily study. It has a beautiful floral cover that is very sturdy which makes it a perfect option for on-the-go Bible study.

There are 5 short chapters at the beginning of the journal that help you prepare your heart and mind for Scripture reading and studying. These chapters give you tips for preparation, interpretation, classification, collaboration, and motivation. This journal is based on the popular book, How to Study the Bible, so it would be a good idea to pick up a copy to read alongside this journal.

In the pages following the preparation chapters are beautiful floral enhanced blank canvases for writers to pen their thoughts. These lined pages have a space to record your study topic and date, but the rest of the page is blank to record your creative and inspired thought process. There are many pages available for journaling which makes this a long-lasting journal to use during your Bible study time.

Ladies will love the beauty and simplicity of this journal and will enjoy its purpose of bringing them closer to God and improving their spiritual journey. This is a great gift option as well as a staple for your own library. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishers and I was under no obligation to post this review.

This is a beautiful accompaniment to use when studying your Bible, giving you insights to help lead you in your journey of learning from God’s Word.

It contains a short section of helps from bestseller, How to Study the Bible, to give you steps for studying, such as preparation, interpretation, examining Bible Study methods, and how to use other Bible Study resources, then putting these all into action.

This attractive edition would make a very nice gift. It is bound in a lovely cover featuring pretty flowers, pink-edged pages, a ribbon bookmark, and a journaling section of many pages. Each page of the journaling section gives a place to notate the study topic and date.

I highly recommend this book as a great addition to your Bible Study collection of helpful books.

This is a lovely journal and a great addition to Bible study time. It includes insights from How to Study the Bible by Robert M. West, which was released in 2007. It includes information on how to use the journal.

Journaling pages include a place to list the study topic and date, so what to include is really up to the reader to decide. While that format may work well for some, I do prefer journals that give me at least a basic prompt/question to consider when journaling.

Before the journal section, there are chapters pertaining to preparing your heart for Bible study, Bible study methods, and Bible study resources.

The journal is designed to grab a woman's attention with it floral print and pink edging. The flexible cover is comfortable to hold, and there's a ribbon bookmark, as well. It would make a lovely gift.

I don't know about you but I love journals! This one is beautifully bound and has plenty of space for writing down questions and/or reflections while studying the Bible. It gives a helpful over view on how to prepare to study your Bible, discovering what the Bible means, particular study methods and useful study helps.

I especially liked the emphasis in the beginning on preparing our hearts; being dependent on God and purposeful in our approach. It is all too often easy for me to rush to study and rush through study. This journal is a good stepping stone in my preparation and approach to study time. I'm using it to also journal my prayer beforehand. Visually, this journal is also aesthetically pleasing with its floral design and pink edged pages. I highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful and inspiring journal designed especially for women.

The first part of the book is filled with scripture and bible study lessons. These selections took me to books in the Bible which I have not previously studied in depth. The remainder of the book is filled with blank pages for readers to use for recording their own thoughts as they read through and study the Bible.

The format of the journal is user-friendly and is designed to encourage readers to use the journal as they wish to keep a record of their quiet time Bible studies.

I received a copy of this journal from the publisher through JustRead Publicity Tours. My thoughts and opinions shared here are solely my own.

After reading 31 pages of wonderful easy-to-read chapters and ideas on how to study the Bible I am able to start my personal journal. This is a beautiful book so well organized yet many free pages for me to write what God has put on my heart.

I love the design of pink and blue flowers on a soft sided cover. Inside the book, each journal page has a title of Study Topic and the date with the rest of the page being lined with flowers at the bottom. I enjoy the feminine look and feel of this book as well.

This makes a personal and loving gift for any woman.

This book will help you Study the Bible and gives great insight into how. In today’s world so many false teachers are telling us that scripture has been interpreted wrong or you hear “It’s up for interpretation.” I’ve even heard someone say that The Bible has not been interpreted correctly ever.” This book will help women dig deeper and gives you space to record your findings.

This beautiful journal starts off by demonstrating how to critically read and study your Bible in such a way that “we’re letting the Bible get through us” (23). The five chapters, pages 9-38, discuss how to analyze the Bible, how to give context to what you read, and how to apply it to your own life. Chapter 4 goes over additional resources that a person can use to aid in their study. These chapters stress the importance of reading your Bible daily and putting your heart and mind into it. This introduction to Biblical study is taken from Robert M. West’s book How to Study the Bible.

(Intrigued by the West’s way of studying the Bible, I looked up his book and it’s a bit lengthier than this journal. For a more seasoned Christian, his book might be a better route than the journal, since it’s more in depth; however, it is lacking the journal addition.)

The journal section is lovely; at the top you can fill in the Study Topic, the date, then the rest of the page is lined so you can write down your reflection and thoughts. Since I read an advanced copy, I’m not 100% sure how many journal pages there are. The Kindle version I had showed that the journal was from page 38-50.

I would recommend this journal for new and old Christians alike. It is marketed for women, but nothing in the text is specific towards women. The design, however, is very floral. This would make a great gift. Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Publishing for providing me with an advanced copy.
