It’s all come down to this.

Senara and her guard are in the home stretch, the light at the end of the tunnel bright and full of possibility, if they are able to reach it.

Baalim’s gala is on the horizon, and with the help of their new, and old allies, Senara is focused on taking the man down, and freeing the Light Court from his oppressive rule.

But not everyone is on board, and there will be choices to make, secrets to release and relationships to cement to ensure everyone she loves, and loves her make it through this alive.

I can't find the words

I keep starting my review and finding what I'm trying to say isn't what I'm expressing with my text. Knowing how hard it is for me to find the words to wrap up this series, I'm in awe of these writers that delivered both the perfect ending to one series and an epic beginning to a new one.
I have loved every adventure I've been on with the Nightmare Court. I often end up with book hangover at the end of a series but this one gave me enough of a fix to survive until the next journey starts. I can't wait to get to know the Light court.

A fitting end to the Nightmare collection

A fitting end to the Nightmare Court books and a wonderful start to the Light Court. I have loved watching Sen grow and discover herself and her guard! I very much look forward to knowing more about the Light Court and seeing Faeire flourish with Nightmare and Light working together. I am hoping we will still learn what is happening with the Nightmare royals in the Light Court books.

Mind Blown

I am absolutely mind blown!!!! I could not put this down and did not want it to end. I loved how all of the loose ends were wrapped up but left you wondering what is on the horizon. I cannot wait for the Light Court princesses to get their own stories. Brava ladies!!!!!!

A great finish to the Dark Courts sagas, and a wonderous beginning to the Light Courts. Senara has grown so much through her books, I love that the guys try to outdo themselves at embarrasing her, loving her, and just being with her. I'm excited to read the jump off of the new books, but I'll miss the Dark.

Wow. What an end to the series!

I truly enjoyed reading the series. Through crazy cliff hangers and crazier situations I loved reading this all. It's amazing to me that there was no repetition that I could find in any of the 27 books. I look forward to seeing the Light Court books come alive!

This princess is a queen!

This princess has been through a lot. She has changed and grown. Faerie gets what faerie wants. The light needed to be brought back to life and it needs to renew itself. With a new queen and new princesses!

A Court Uniting

I’d probably give this book 4.5 ⭐️ If I could.

This book covers the final stages in Senara’s process of creating a Light Court that can unite with Faerie. She has to navigate the politics, economics and sociology of a Court that has suppressed women for centuries, causing their power to be diluted as they stepped further and further into the human realm and away from Faerie.

Senara spends time with the histories of the Light Court Houses and tried to get to know her new core of female support so she can make the right choices to make sure the Court is strong and flexible enough to grow and change without causing damage to the Courts and their inhabitants.

There is a lot packed into this final book in The Ash Court series and it’s good to see Senara coming into her full strength. I particularly enjoyed having her increase in powers explained, as she does not have a typical Court setup. There is plenty of violence, passion and friendship in this book and I spent quite a lot of time reading this book with a smile on my face.

It feels like this series was a transition from The Nightmare Courts to The Light Courts and I know that these authors have already started with new series as the new Princesses were given guidance about how to bring power back to their Houses in this book, basically setting up the series to come.

All in all a very entertaining read.
