Id had The Missing Wolf book 1 in my want to read list on Goodreads for a while now so when i found out the whole series was in a boxset i was chuffed to bits. It didnt disappoint. It gradually takes you through the story of Anastasia (FMC) and her men - Alex, Liam and Mason. Plenty of plot twists and turns as well as loads of steamy scenarios. Just a cracking read

Her entire life was a lie. And now she wants the truth. Anastasia and her two sisters Bethany and Phoebe have grown up without their parents, who died in a car crash when they were young. They have been arise by an elderly lady they call grandmother, who has love then and kept them safe. I loved these books when they first came out and so I am glad to find them in one simple box set. It contains Missing Wolf, which introduces us to Ana and her men. Dying Wolf which gives you all the twists and turns and surprises makes this such an addicting read. Anastasia has so many different things dropped on her at the same time that it is amazing to see how she deals with each secret that is revealed. And finally it includes Shadow Wolf in which so many things are revealed, and so many emotions because of what is revealed. This is a great ending to what has been an amazing series. Ana and her guys are such strong unit that nothing can keep them apart. It even includes a neat bonus epilogue and it was nice to step back into this world for a bit.

From start to finish we get to read this series non-stop in this boxset. The best part, aside from not having to literally switch books, is not having to wait after reading those cliffhangers! The concept for this series is fairly unique, though I wish there was more history of the familiar kinds origins and specifics about their type of being. The reader is taken on a rollercoaster of a journey from being introduced to a whole new world along side Anastasia to knee deep in political and mythical intrigue. At every turn we find new and old secrets , deceptions, and twists. While it was missing some things I would've liked to see or have more emphasis on the story was great read and unique.

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This is a great series and I'm so glad I get to have it in one file to binge it straight through next time I want to re-read them! Plus the bonus epilogue is so sweet and is the perfect ending for this series.

If you are looking for a great shifter series, I would definitely recommend buying this box-set because once you start the first book, you are going to want to keep on reading until they are all done! G. Bailey is a fantastic author and I am always anxious to get more novels from her when she has a new release.

You will enjoy the adventure with Anastasia, Alex, Liam and Mason - for sure!

Book 1 The Missing Wolf - Good read. Liked the idea of the familiars and their animal sidekicks. Ana was an average character. Not much romance in this one. A bit of a mystery going on.

Book 2 The Dying Wolf - Some questions answered and some raised. Steady paced. Need to see where Ana and her guys go from here.

Book 3 The Shadow Wolf - Huh. I was waiting for the big, bad battle and it fizzled majorly. The whole book lost the spark that was in the first 2. The relationships were even on low mode. Her acceptance of the whole island and her parents didn't seem like her from the first two books.

This is the full collection of THE FAMILIAR EMPIRE including the following titles: BOOK 1 - THE MISSING WOLF; BOOK 2 - THE DYING WOLF; BOOK 3 - THE SHADOW WOLF; and exclusive bonus scenes.

I always enjoy box sets focusing on shifters. The story lines are always exciting, suspenseful and intriguing from beginning to end! The twists and turns keep the reader fully involved. The story has elements of drama, mystery, and romance to move it forward. And you’ll find some favorites among the characters as Anastasia Noble becomes a familiar and is bonded to a wolf for life. That is just the beginning of her adventure and the complete set is right here at your fingertips!

I loved these stories and reading them in a boxset was so much better you can finish one story then go straight to the next I hate waiting months in between books so the boxset makes it way more convenient.
Book 1 The Missing Wolf.
Book 2 The Dying Wolf.
Book 3 The Shadow Wolf.
At the end of the book there are some bonus scenes which I really enjoyed too, I loved the characters and all of the action, adventure, suspense, danger, twists and turns, romance and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages and I highly recommend this boxset.

It’s ok

I wanted to like this more than I actually did. The writing is ok, but it feels a little disjointed. The fact that the people are called familiars bothers me a little because it’s also what the animals are called. I think it would make more sense if the people who had familiars had a different name to refer to themselves. Overall, it was an ok read. I probably won’t read it again, but it was decent for a one time read through.

This series is really cool, the plot and world building is amazing. I have to admit I played through each book when they released then had to wait for the next one to be released, so to see them all as one in a boxed set is super awesome. The characters in this series are some of G Bailey's best, in my opinion. I really hope that she comes back to this world with some of the side characters sometime

I really loved this book. And was surprised by how much, since I usually don't enjoy slow/medium burn. But I like it all. Well, all except who the villain is and their ending. But well, life isn't perfect. A well built plot and enjoyable characters. And I loved the MCs, the girl and the guys. A worth and delicious reading.

One of favorite series from G. Bailey! You get all the books from this series in one nice box set. No waiting for the next book, and there's even bonus content! I love Ana the FMC and the guys. And of course who doesn't like some battling families and earth shattering revelations 🤷 and some very hot 🔥 scenes.

All 3 stories bundled all in 1 plus a bonus epilogue. Ana & her guys got the happy ending, but what of the others? Questions were raised, answers were given, some parts were slow to fast to super fast (but I think that’s just Gem’s writing style, just as long the MC get the happy ending they deserve, we’re good lol).

It took me a while to get into this series, the whole story was a good idea it just seemed to be slow at moving along and I also had to back track at times to re-read sentences that didn’t make sense or were written incorrectly. However, I did persevere to the end, it wouldn’t be a book I would rave about 🤷‍♀️
