I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

Levi is the seventh story in Maryann Jordan’s Lighthouse Security Investigations series, but it can be read as a standalone novella. There are references to the rest of the team, but the story itself takes place on the way to joining the team and does not require any knowledge of the prior stories.
I’ll be honest and say it was a story that had the potential to be interesting, but it was too underdeveloped for me to fall for it in the way I had hoped. There was no real suspense to this one, and the relationship between the characters was insta and without the chemistry I had hoped for. There were ways in which this could have been an addictive read, but it did not have enough for me.
All in all, Levi wasn’t quite for me. I’m sure it’ll work for many, but I prefer a bit more depth in my stories.

I loved this short, sweet insta-love story. It had a touch of danger and plenty of desire.

Levi Amory was on his way to start his new career with Lighthouse Security Investigations in Maine. He is looking forward to a new but uncomplicated life. When he stops to help out a stranded motorist, he lands smack dab in the middle of Claire Loman’s complications.
“I know this sounds ridiculous because we just met yesterday, but it almost felt like fate. Especially by the time we gotten to know each other over dinner, it seemed... well, it seemed really nice.”
My only complaint is that I really want more of Levi and Claire and I hope to catch them in the next LSI series book.

I’ve read and enjoyed a couple of Maryann Jordan’s Lighthouse Security stories and was looking forward to seeing what we’d get with Levi and Claire’s story. Little bit of secrets, little bit of drama, lot of bit of rescue-the-girl, and the same family-got-your-back feel of the LSI team all adds up to an enjoyable little escape.

Read this in a anthology and loved it. Levi met Claire as he was taking the back roads travelling to his new job. Her car was broke down and he offered to give her a lift. Little did he know his trip was about to turn into something else. A great read and hea.

We met former FBI agent and latest LSI recruit Levi Amory when he helped Tate save Nora. Levi is driving cross country to take up his new job when he offers stranded Claire a lift. There is an instant spark of attraction between the two but Levi senses there is more to Claire’s story than she is letting on. Claire is on the run and being hunted, slowly her secrets come out and she has to trust Levi to keep her safe and, with the help of the LSI Keepers, solve the mystery she is involved in. I love the LSI series and this complete short story with its intrigue, passion and action is a great addition. Strong, honourable and dependable Levi fits the Keeper mould perfectly and finds his match in warm, beautiful Claire. 5 stars!

Great addition to the team
Levi Amory has left the FBI to joined LSI after helping Tate save Nora. While Levi takes a much needed mini vacation driving to Maine from Wyoming he stops to help a beautiful woman on the side of the road. Claire is running from Chicago in the hopes of figuring out how to handle some trouble surrounding her. Levi is instantly attracted to Claire and is willing to let her ride along with him to Boston, but Levi senses there is more to Claire’s story than she is letting on. Claire’s secrets finally come out and she has to trust Levi to keep her safe with the help of the LSI keepers. The LSI series is one of my favorites. 5 stars!

come il precedente, in questo nuovo volume troviamo molta storia e poca, in proporzione, parte action/thriller
il protagonista lo abbiamo conosciuto nel volume precedente e si appresta a far parte della squadra dei guardiani; il suo è un incontro del tutto casuale con claire
la storia è ben scritta nella spiegazione che i due stanno insieme: può accedere sì il colpo di fulmine, ma anche di conoscere e fidarsi della persona giusta (è che sono 1 ogni 10milioni purtroppo!), ben articolata anche la parte delle scelte, e dei dialoghi, per cui risulta una lettura piacevole

WOW! Another FANTASTIC story by Maryann! This is about Levi wanting to change his life so he quit the FBI and took a position as a Keeper. He moved from Wyoming to Maine. In his journey, he meets Claire and they begin their journey while she is running from her former employer. Levi was able to help Claire get through this terrible time in her life. Once the bad guys were taken care of, Levi and Claire work on their happily ever after! FANTASTIC job Maryann! This book was short but great! I would recommend this book!

Levi is Another great book added to this already exciting series. Maryann Jordan in my opinion has written another five star story with some really intriguing and interesting character. Levi is on his way to Maine for a new job with the Lighthouse Security, he decides to take a leisurely ride to enjoy the sights. When he hits an accident he decides to take the back roads and stops to help a stranded woman. This is where the adventure begins with some mystery, secrets, danger and just maybe something more .

Levi decides to take a road trip to his new job with Lighthouse Security Investigations, pulling a uhaul Levi has to take some country roads avoiding a traffic jam. He sees a lady stranded on the side of the road. Rescuing her from the side of the road brings Levi more then he expected, adventure, romance and of course Suspense.
I love this series so much! Alphas with hearts written as only Maryann Jordan can!

I love the Lighthouse Series. - Levi is headed across country to start his new job at Lighthouse security. A circumstance has him starting his role before he even arrives. Who is this woman and can she be trusted? We have sparks flying here, but he must find out if she is a criminal or a victim. Their story is short but sweet and I'm guessing we'll learn the growth of these characters in other stories in this series.

Levi is a Keeper
I know some may think this story of a meet up on the back roads during a crossed country trip is too wild to be true, but I know for a fact these things due happen. I'm so happy this couple had the foresight and faith to let the adventure happen. I'm also glad they both were trustworthy and kind. Their kids will treasure their love story every time it's shared.

This is my first story by Maryann Jordan. I loved it!!! Some events were a little unbelievable, I was okay with it, I did get the action and suspense I look for. I found Levi to be such a good guy. He's smart, strong and knows when to follow his instincts and asked for help when he needed it. I found Claire independent, yet impulsive. I appreciated how she wanted to figure out how to clear her name. I read in Danger and Desire Boxed Set.

Another amazing book by Maryann Jordan who is an amazing author and writer. Levi is going across the country to start his job with The Lighthouse Crew but as usual things don't always go as planned. There are twists and turns along with danger, hope, secrets, love and as usual the Lighthouse Crew always have there families back and will always be there for them when the need it. I definitely recommend you read this book and others by Maryann Jordan and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Maryann Jordan writes a wonderful story of drama, action, thrills, steamy encounters, and happily ever after. Levi’s first mission with LSI is memorable for more than one reason. Claire didn’t know she wanted the change that her situation brought about. I wish it was longer though.

Great read!
It was great to get Levi's story so soon after Tate's book where we really got to know this guy. In this book we meet Claire, who has people following her. This book had the action and adventure I have grown to love in Maryann Jordan's novels. I can't wait to read what she comes up with next

Things are definitely complicated!
I am so glad Levi is joining LSI and for him to 'rescue' Claire on his cross country trip too...perfect! He was so adamant with Tate that he wanted an uncomplicated woman, that him falling for Claire with her complications made me smile.
Another sexy, hot Keeper finds his match, a great novella and a perfect addition to the LSI series.

Levi and Claire
What a great short story and I loved how they met on a back road and were able to continue their journey despite the circumstances. Claire did a fantastic job finding the perfect home that was remodeled out of an old barn. I know that I would love living there myself.

Too short and no suspense compared to the other lighthouse stories. I was looking forward to Levi joining the team and hearing his story.
But there is not much of a story. No background. Then with Claire there’s no background. Who is she really?
I assume the embezzlement was figured out. There is no love story.

Tate and Claire
I really liked Levi in Tate’s book and I love his and Claire’s story! On his drive from Wyoming to Maine for his new job Levi stops to help a damsel in distress and ends up on an adventure keeping her safe. This book has a nasty boss, a woman on the run and an unexpected attraction. You’ll be able to read this in a few hours and fall in love with another Keeper.

Damsel in Distressed!
Levi: He had resigned the FBI and is now taking a long over due vacation. Before he starts his new job with LSI. He was enjoying himself and the drive. Then he saw that someone was in trouble on the side of the road so pulled over. It was a wonderful story!

Surprise Mission
I really enjoyed Levi & Claire! Their story is quick, a bit suspenseful, & a lot of fun! Also, it made me crave pizza for lunch. Lol
I liked the way they met & the way the LSI group jumped right in to support their newest hire.

Levi is a member of a vet security team and a friend to a special lady. Complications and page turning events make this a great read. Strong men and stronger women. Even better, beloved characters are found in the many books of the series. Bravo!!!

For me, a massive improvement on the last one ( I really didn't like it!! ). This was an extremely fast read but it did what it needed to. I felt that I sort of knew both of the leads. I thought that the plot was relatively plausible... and I do like a literal journey!!

Good book, fun read. I didn’t know this was coming out, so it was a pleasant addition to the series. Obviously, since this is a novella, it was a quick read. I enjoyed the characters - as always. This book did a great job of holding me over until the next one.
