What happens when the billionaire with too much money meets the single mom with too much heart?
Disgustingly wealthy billionaire, Tobias Stone, is a man who is struggling to come to terms with his past. He uses his wealth to insulate him from the real world where everything can be bought. Even sex.
Single mom, Savannah Page, has come to New York with her young son to make a fresh start. Struggling to make ends meet, she is determined to give her son a wonderful Christmas but finding work isn't that easy.
'The Billionaire's Love Story' consists of 9 instalments which vary in length from 25K-45K words.
Lily Zante is the author of over sixty contemporary romance and women's fiction novels. After spending two decades working in IT, she decided to give writing another try. Given her love of The Walking Dead, she started off writing zombie fiction but quickly dove into writing romance instead. She's glad she switched.
This is the fourth re reading of this romance. I just loved it. Single mom, adorable little boy and a rich billionaire as the hero thinking his life is perfect and missing nothing until one small boy looking into a store window at the toy display for Christmas. This is a great story. Do realize it is a serial, I know I hate them also, but let this be the exception, I did and I am glad I did. You will not regret reading this romance.....There are three books in the serial The Gift, The offer and the Vow. If you want a great read, look no further than this ........
Savannah has a six year old son. She's moved with him to New York to escape an abusive ex-husband. She is staying in a relative's (cousin, I believe) apartment rent free. But she is apparently dirt poor. She takes a temp job at the hero's business and doesn't bother to ask the temp agency when she'll be paid. It turns out it won't be until January and it's before Christmas now. She can't afford to give her son Christmas. She has to get food from the food bank just before Christmas. But, when she has to take her son to work with her the two days before Christmas and forgets to pack lunches, she has sufficient funds to run out and buy them lunch without batting an eye. Also, she was in that abusive relationship with her husband. It isn't detailed, but it was apparently verbally and physically. Now, however, she has balls of steel.
Tobias is the "hero". He's a billionaire. He doesn't trust anyone. He keeps everyone at a distance. His personal assistant is pretty familiar, though. And he has a "Naomi". She's a high priced call girl. His DEDICATED call girl. She doesn't have any other clients. Just Tobias. And he seems to only pay her when he needs her services. I wonder how she makes money all the other days of the week. He likes her because she knows what he needs and she doesn't ask questions. But, the first scene we see of them together, she asks questions. And he takes her on vacation with him at Christmas every year. That whole scenario there seems contradictory. And it's a huge turnoff for me. I wish I'd know this story contains an "I only pay for sex because I'm so damaged" hero. I would've skipped it entirely.
This is a serial, which is stated on the description page, so I knew that going in. I won't be continuing.
Can one man change someone's without them even knowing. Tobias has it all money good looking but he is unhappy and alone. Savannah needs a job desperately and she has been given a chance to earn some money for the holidays, she needs it so badly at least now she can give her son Jacob a proper Christmas. Tobias knows that she has it hard and he wants is to make her happy and he is interested in her but she doesn't see him like that so the chase is on. But with he be able to catch her? A great start to the series.
A wonder story of love and the things that get in the way.
Savannah is a young divorced mother of Jacob. Tobias is the rich billionaire owner of his own company.
Tobias is dragged into hosting a Christmas party give-away for some poor children. Bored and embarrassed by the whole thing he suddenly notices a small boy outside the doors looking in. The boy reminds him of himself, when he was small. He invites the child inside. But he will not come, not until his mother gives him permission.
This brief meeting is that spark that leads these two star-crossed lovers into a world of passion and mis-communications that constantly threaten to keep them apart.
If you enjoy a well written and conceived story line with very believable characters -- don't miss you opportunity to make this love story a part of your life.
Loved this story - Tobias and Savannah are very likable characters. Tobias fills his days with work work work as he is suffering from a tragic loss. He doesn't want to make any kind of connection with anyone. Savannah is coming out of an abusive relationship and just wants to do right by her son. She finds herself working as a temp Tobias' company after a brief encounter she and her son Jacob had with him at a toy store. She in no time sparks his interest with her don't back down attitude. I love how this all plays out. It's not a smack you in the face connection but a gradual one. Very nicely done. I am really looking forward to the remaining books in this series.
Savannah Page and her son Jacob have moved to New York to escape her abusive ex-husband. While Savannah is listening to a voice mail indicating she didn't get a job, Jacob sees a toy store and is staring in the door. Inside is a Christmas party for children in Adoption a Center 's sponsored by Billionaire, Tobias Stone. He invites Jacob inside and tells him to pick a present. Once Savannah learns this is a closed party she tells Jacob they need to leave. The next day the agency calls with a job for Savannah. Little does she know that the gift of a job is working for Tobias Stone. I really loved this Christmas story!
In The Gift, Book 1 Tobias Stone, billionaire offers a young boy a Christmas gift at a toy store charity event. Jacob is the young son of Savannah Page and when Tobias's personal assistant sets in she drives Jacob and Savannah away without the boy getting his gift.
Savannah gets a temporary job at Stone Enterprises and meets Tobias again. He is interested in her and her son but not ready to have any kind of relationship. One misunderstanding, a no show at the company Christmas party and a food bank line wake up Tobias and his feelings start to emerge. This is a cliffhanger, but the book comes in a three part set so it is easy to continue to part 2.
I received this Arc if The Gift, with only the promise of an honest review. A great book. Almost from the start, I was laughing front the attitude and banter from Savannah Seduction's character. Tobias want to be stone and not feeling but he's already started to crack afterward meeting Jacob and his mother Savannah. I can't wait till the Gift 2 comes out. I can be sure I'm going to absolutely fall in love with it.
This is my introduction to Lily Zante an her style of writing. I have found a new author to add to my TBR list. I really enjoyed this fast paced, quick read. The two main characters are both a little broken and I can only hope they can help heal each other. I look forward to see where Savannah and Tobias's relationship goes. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I recommend this book.
Savannah came to New York with her son Jacob to start over and to get away from her abusive ex husband. She is looking for a job that she is working around making sure he is taken care of. Her son is looking at a toy store when he gets invited in by Tobias Stone who is doing a charity event for children in adoption agencies. The next time she sees him she is working as a temp in his office.
This is book one in the Billionaire's Love Story Series. The story of Tobias, a billionaire who is heartless, cold and void of love. Savannah, a single mother who is overflowing with love but has no money. The romantic story of how these two come together and their journey. Both have wounded hearts and they slowly try to heal each other.
Genuine characters who draw you in immediately and hold your interest. I c ant wait for book 2. This book has a plot and great writing makes the reader care.
The characters and their development in this story (including the prequel), are fascinating. I am looking forward to the rest of this series...no cliffhanger, but makes me want the next installment right away. I'm glad they are already waiting for me!♡♡♡
I started reading this book yesterday before bed and could stop until I finished it at 5:30am. Safe to say I will be exhausted tomorrow but I was worth it. I like Tobias but he was rude for no reason. Loved the way I could finish the book in just a few hours and still want more.
I want to be fair because there are no reviews for this yet, and I really want to be fair. But I paid for this, and I am unhappy about my wasted time and money. I know someone put a lot of work, into writing this book, but it’s just not good. I am sorry.
This was a hard DNF.
The way it was written was borderline vulgar, maybe am too old, and that’s a part of the problem. There blurb should have warned me, but I was pulled by the premise, that could been awesome! Angst and tension galore, but no.
The writing, Xavier “the stud” Stone , yes the mmc refers to himself as such, the word dude, in every sentence was beyond cringy and honestly I felt like it was written by a man, who was young in the 90’s.
Ps. I listened to the audiobook and narrator were fine, however there was a quality issue with some background noise.
Or stories that are broken up into “to be continued” episodes. I much prefer when an author tells a full story in one go. Even if they go back to characters and add more to their tale with another book. But what basically amounts to dangling a chapter at a time just is not a way to keep me coming back. It actually, makes me feel like I wasted my time reading the “book”. That’s why, although this story has the potential to be a 5-star, it’s only a 3 for me.
It's the Christmas season and Savannah are looking for a way to make it meaningful for her son and gets it when she is hired by Tobias. He is a billionaire who doesn't do love and Savannah is a woman with a big heart and lots of spirit. Their personalities collide over the season and her son is the medium that brings them all together. Will Tobias heart finally be healed and will they all get a second chance for happiness.
A cute intro to their story and I'm excited to see where this story goes from here! Tobias seems a bit standoffish but we can slowly see his exterior cracking. I love the relationship Tobias has with her son

I hate when you can’t get the whole story in one book. So far I’m enjoying the story, but the fact that I have to keep paying to finish feels like extortion.
Great story can't wait for the next. Flags to riches is something a lot of us look for. This is it in a bit shell and could prove to be interesting in the second book
