Newly estranged from Donna, The Introvert is selected as one of twelve jurors on a notorious murder trial, forcing him to navigate a litany of uncomfortable social interactions, this time with no avenue of escape. Equal parts harrowing and hilarious, The Introvert Bears Filthy Witness is the third entry in the life of one very anti-social and unexpected anti-hero.

Many times, I have watched a book series grow more watered down and weary as it progresses. This is clearly not the case here, as this has been the strongest book in the saga yet. We finally get many questions answered, such as “what happens with Donna?”, “Are the police closing in?”, and the most pressing of all: “what is the dog’s name?”

Thank you Michael for the ARC

This is the third instalment of The Introvert and it has plenty of dark humour, moments both tense and tender and twists to keep you guessing.
Absolutely love spending more time with our protagonist and going along for the ride in a mind that has the capacity to be both relatable and alien at the same time.
One of my favourite 'weirdos' and absolutely one to follow.

This book is my favourite in the Introvert series to date. I love the voice used throughout and feel like the character has really found his stride. I would highly recommend the series and am looking forward to reading more as and when they are released.

The Introvert Bears Filthy Witness by Michael Paul Michaud
The Introvert #3

The Introvert is…different. For some reason he reminded me a bit of Amelia Bedelia in the books I read to my children although…this character is not as benign as Amelia was. No, The Introvert has a dark side. When his dark side appears, he sometimes controls it and sometimes he does not. Pretty much what he thinks is verbalized and yet there are times that he can control what he says even though what he says is accurate an

This is the third book to feature the main character that we only know as The Introvert. It does read as a standalone but I do urge readers to read the other books to really get to know him better and how his mind ticks. They are great fun as well.

I don’t think there is another book out there that you could compare to this. It is so unique and a breath of fresh air in the ever growing world of books. The Introvert is so straight and everything is pretty much at face value. He may be a killer but

When I invited to take part in the blog tour for ‘The Introvert Bears Filthy Witness’, I hadn’t actually realised that it was the third book in ‘The Introvert’ series. I didn’t let that put me off and I sat down for what I hoped was going to be a blooming good read. Well this book was certainly a blooming good read and then some. I loved reading ‘The Introvert Bears Filthy Witness’ but more about that in a bit.
I was drawn into this book from the very start. As soon as I began to read, I knew tha

The Introvert Bears Filthy Witness is the third book in the fantastically quirky introvert series and you could totally read it as a standalone but it'll be better to read it as part of the series to fully understand the main character and his foibles. Although I think Michael Paul Michaud's introvert series won't be everyone's cup of tea, I absolutely love these books. An introvert myself, although not to the degree of our unnamed anti-hero, I can really empathise with the main character and hi ...more

Our friendly awkward psychopathic introvert is back and this time he can’t avoid dealing with other people. Yes he’s on a jury for a murder case… not just any murder case, one of a dog lover and our nameless friend is devoted to ‘man’s best friend’.

I really felt for our protagonist, I feel awkward within a new group of people but nowhere near to the extent of his socially awkwardness. The forced small talk and getting to know each other when in normal circumstances, you probably wouldn’t gravita

Every book I am going to read is one that I am looking forward too. Some because they are from an author I did not know yet, some because a known author has a new book or a new series, some because there is a new book in an existing series.
It can be because you love the author or because you really enjoy the main character(s) or a combination of both.
This time it was because I enjoy the author’s writing style a lot and the main character, well you just have to love him.
He is cute, but ruthless

Review:
This is the third book in the series. It reads well as a standalone, but I want to read the other two. I feel like I could have gotten to know The Introvert better that way, but it didn’t lessen my enjoyment of this novel.
With a title like The Introvert Bears Filthy Witness, I expected unique, and that is what I got. This is so unique, that I’m not sure I’ve ever read a book like it.
This is a hard book to review because I don’t want to give anything away. It is very different, and I reall

Well that was quirky and very original and I was left slightly bemused and shocked but I’m truly impressed that the, excellent, writing stirred so many feelings. The lead character, at first, comes across as rather inept and socially awkward thus making me feel a little uncomfortable and indulgent of him as I watch him offload his bumbling version of the story. There are a few hazy moments during the story where he seems to lose control and see red and you begin to wonder if he has hidden depths ...more

This is book three in The Introvert series all shortish stories around 200 pages I have enjoyed the full series so far. Different, unique. The main character is definitely one you can't forget. He's funny, clever and has a secret dark side. Another story I really enjoyed.
In this story the Introvert finds himself on dury duty and soon clashes with another juror but it's him we are talking about here and there's more to the story that just him doing his jury duty and the trial. A very clever, cun

My favourite vacuum selling, anti-social, anti-hero of all time is back, and it was just brilliant to be reunited with him in the third book of this series. The humour is a dark as ever, he's still 'achieving it' and struggling with his dark, dark desires to leave anyone who p*sses him off 'red and open' and I just loved every page. The absolute BEST thing about this book (apart from the massive clue that there is to be a fourth book), is that we appear to finally learn what our introvert's name ...more

I have absolutely loved this series. I've read all the three in a week. The anti hero is a little bit of us all.. Wants justice to happen however the difference is he makes it happen. This dark humour has laugh out loud moments and his awkward simple reasoning is enduring in many ways. I feel like I've given him face and a name even without this being given to us by the author as his thoughts become your thoughts when you are reading! No spoilers but I really dont want him to be caught even thou ...more

I really enjoyed this book. The lines between imagination and reality have often been blurred in the telling of the Introvert's story, and the author uses this device to great effect here, too. I enjoyed the court case/jury scenario very much, since it showed more aspects of the main character's personality and also reinforced other sides of him. I would definitely recommend this book and series to other readers. ...more

I've read the last three Introvert's books. Michael Paul Michaud is an excellent author. I could not put the books down. He's captured a no name weirdo that has you rooting for him and appalled by him at the same time. I can't wait for The Introvert Finds His Freud. All I can say is he needs to find him and Michael Paul Michaud can't keep us waiting. Great job! ...more

The Introvert series is simply superb. As with the previous two novellas, the reader is treated to the inner monologue of the eponymous anti-hero. The said protagonist is neuroatypical and as his title suggests, not overly fond of interactions with other humans. He is naturally introspective and highly analytical and his thoughts and actions make for very entertaining reading. If you enjoy black comedy involving characters that you will genuinely come to care about, I would highly recommend this ...more

Part three of the series examining the life of a man with a very literal outlook. If you've not read the previous two books then some of this review may not mean much to you - so off you go to read them! In this book we look closer at how others see him. His "special ways", are interpreted by others as being emotions that are more familiar to them. The way it is written this is perfectly understandable. It would be unbelievable if the police had not started taking a special interest in him, so t ...more

This is book three in the Introvert series, and despite that, it was pretty easy to follow along and felt like it could be a standalone. Based on other reviews I’ve seen, they all highly recommend starting from the beginning to get to know our main character better. THE INTROVERT BEARS FILTHY WITNESS was a quick read at just over 200 pages and I really enjoyed our unique main character known as The Introvert.

This was my favourite of the books in the series so far. I already felt so attached to the main character that i was thoroughly looking forward to reading more of his story.
This novella was another great insight into the introvert's mind and had a compelling storyline too.
This is another fabulous story in the series and I
totally recommend reading it if you can.
