A fellow travel advisor and doting mother, Gina, sent me this book when she found out I was going to Savannah, Georgia. Gina’s daughter did the wonderful illustrations for this unique city guide book. I love how it collects stories, new and old, of the City. The notes pages in the back are full of to do lists and I have already ordered several books to continue reading. We will be stopping in to the Book Lady to pick up a local book as well. Thanks Gina.

Such a fun guide. I loved the fascinating tidbits of historical information in the "almanac" section. The interviews were also great and helped paint a more complete picture of Savannah and its locals.
