No Commitment

Rate this book
No commitment. That was my deal with Tyler from the start, at least until his tour was over and we could be together. But thirty days filming a reality show here, two years overseas with his band there... Is it really any wonder why I didn’t tell him about the baby?

He comes looking for me once he’s back in the country, but he runs into the man I married instead. Eventually I agree to meet him so I can put the past truly behind me. When I see him, though, every feeling I held inside comes rushing back.

My husband and I vowed to raise this baby together. But as I find myself drifting away from the husband who stole my job and gravitating toward the rock star who stole my heart, I realize he deserves the truth.

I just have no idea how this rock star who doesn’t make commitments is going to react to the fact that he’s a father.

This wonderful story by Liza Suzanne shows us that although life paths and some decisions can take us to completely different places, the heart never forgets where it belongs ... The heart remembers everything even when we try to forget...
The story of Danielle and Tyler is simply so emotional, a tale about fear and passion ... anger and love ... two soul mates, two teenagers ... unfulfilled desires, unspoken feelings, unforgettable love.... Obligations, disappointment, hasty decisions, resentment...everything culminates and separates them, although both souls scream for each other, the hearts remember, the bodies remember while they try to move on... And after two long years, they stand against each other, and the feelings are stronger than ever, the solution is here and so simple, but the secret is here as well, the secret that has the power to destroy or heal, the secret that connects and at the same time divides... Do they have the strength to overcome the darkness and step into the light of that wonderful love? Can they forget and forgive?
A fun, modern, romantic drama, which so naively reminds of hope and desire, of reckless mistakes and tears, of love that is stronger than everything. A book that will challenge you in so many ways. Your emotions, your morals will be questioned more than once. A book designed for a wide range of audiences. It will most definitely delight teenagers, with their youthful dreams and ideals, but it is also interesting for older readers. The language in which the work is written is fluent and understandable, the events are precise and completely clear, and the desires and chemistry between the two main characters masterfully surpass reality. Both of the main characters were so perfectly developed, and relatable at the same time. Tyler with his rock star vibe, harsh, sexy and yet so swoon-worthy and sweet. A person who is not afraid to admit his truths and fight for what he wants, a person who was condemned without the right to choose or to defend himself , and yet he finds the strength and courage to overcome his pain and to forgive ... Danielle is quite a contradictory character, who managed to annoy me on several occasions. But no matter how hard I tried to condemn her for her deeds, I somehow managed to understand her side ... Alone and insecure, proud and angry, a woman who tries to do the best for her child and herself and fails so greatly. But strong enough to look at the truth and accept all the consequences. The supporting characters are perfectly embedded in the whole story and masterfully contribute to the complete picture.
This is a novel that can be read in one breath. In one day - a day in which we will travel to this world that will capture our attention to the very end. An emotional read that will stay with us, long after we have finished the last page….

New author for me......
Probably I'm the minority here!!!!
I was soooooo disappointed from the heroine.
I can truly understand the way she behaved (alone, insecure with a baby coming, etc..) but ..... she managed to annoy me on several occasions!!!!
She was unfair to Tyler & Ford...🤯😡😤

Liza Suzanne's newest release continues her short story- Ask Me Later, which was included in the recent anthology, My Night with a Rockstar.  With that hot little teaser and this gorgeous cover, she has upped the volume and turned it into this full length, angsty, must read romance- No Commitment.  I was counting the hours until that unfinished beginning found it's way to what I hoped would be a happily ever after ending. I was wowed by the story of these star crossed former friends- Tyler and Danielle, with flirty high school crushes that went undetected and unfulfilled, until now!

It seemed like nothing was going as planned when Murphy's Law decided to take over the lives of this new couple.  Disappointments are coming fast and furious as fate  intervenes, keeping Tyler and Dani apart when time, distance and hasty decisions challenge their budding commitment to each other. As Tyler gets sidelined by a too busy life, his heart aches for the only girl, now a woman, that he's wanted for what seems like forever and he isn't giving up on her now.  Hopes, dreams and second chances?  Will they ever come to be??

I've totally found a new book boyfriend in swoony, sexy, dirty talking Tyler Caldwell. This sweet man wears his love for Dani on his sleeve for all to see and was not ashamed to let those feelings be known. I just loved that about him! He's growing tired of the never ending grind and nomadic lifestyle of his chosen career but making music has always been the best part of that life. Now, something, or should I say someone, has infiltrated his soul, taking her place right along side his music.

Whew, Dani and Tyler were a combustible combo- together they were fire and I sure didn't mind getting burned by their undeniable heat.  They both won my loyalty from the first pages, but with nerves shot and heart pounding, their situation drove me to the edge while trying to find a way to take their love to the next level. Can the obstacles that block their path be overcome? I wasn't sure! Will love find it's way in the end?  Believe me, you will by DYING to know all the details as you become sucked deeper into the ups and downs of their crazy lives.

Lisa Suzanne has outdone herself with this story, hopefully the 1st in a continuing Capital Kingsman world, which I could be on board for whenever she is ready or willing to take me there. Her beautiful writing insured that I would fall in love with her characters and their stories, leaving this reader addicted and enchanted by her words once again.

This was an unbiased and voluntary review of an early version of this book.

I’m so torn with this book - there were elements that I liked and I think the premise was great; it could’ve been a really good story but it just fell flat for me. Cheating in books is one of my favourite tropes to read, and when done well it can absolutely rip your heart out and leave you feeling emotionally drained. While this was technically a cheating book, I felt like it was far too rushed to have any kind of impact on me. The h just came across as really indecisive and I couldn’t connect to her at all - some of her reasonings for the things she did were just silly. I really liked the H and the fact he was this big rockstar and I was definitely more invested in his side of the story.
I had really high hopes with this one but won’t be continuing on with the next book.

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK: NO COMMITMENT.
GENRE:CONTEMPORARY ROCKSTAR ROMANCE..
AUTHOR:LISA SUZANNE.
TYPE:STANDALONE.
POV: FIRST PERSON.
MY RATING: 4.5 " emotionally gutting" Stars.

Tyler and Danielle have always been in each other for ages...in spite of knowing that they have so little time with each other. But when it's time for Tyler to leave...the goodbye is tough and he left her with a present. A living breathing reminder of their time together. She tried to reach out to him many times but the secret managed to be hidden for years.
Now, Tyler is back in town and he is in for a surprise...and he sees how different his life could have turned out if he had abandoned his tours. Will he be able to get his family together or are they lost to him forever?

No commitment on either side even though neither of us is seeing anybody else, and it all goes back to the night he came back into my life again after being out of it for a decade.

It was a really delightful read and the secret baby trope is carried here smoothly. I was so engrossed in the story that I finished it in one go. Surprising the characters have made an everlasting impression on my mind. The first half was tame but the drama took up a few nitches when he is back to town and then its just a dramatic roll after roll.

Danielle and Tyler were the characters who will definitely appeal to young readers , these teenagers got us on a nin stop emotional roller coaster ride...The plot twist was so enticing that you wont be able to stop once you start this book..

No Commitment is the continuation of Dani and Tyler's story from Ask Me Later, which was part of the recent anthology, My Night with a Rockstar. As much as I loved the beginning of their journey, I loved the ending even more. This book was all kinds of intoxicating. I was hooked right from the start.

Dani has some big news to share with Tyler once his tour wraps up. Only the band has other plans for him. He's set to star on a reality show for thirty days and then head overseas for a two year long tour. Feeling lost and alone, she grows close to a coworker. One who loves her and offers her the stability and support that she needs. She loves him too, just not in the way that she loved Tyler.

After two long years on the road, Tyler is back and determined to track down the woman he loves. He goes back to the arena where she worked but instead of finding her, he meets her husband. Feeling despondent, he heads back to his hotel to drown his sorrows. But hope once again sparks in his chest when he awakens the next day to a text from Dani.

Dani finally agrees to meet with Tyler in order to gain the closure she needs. But what she wasn't expecting was for all of those old feelings to come rushing back. Now she finds herself torn between doing right by her husband or giving in to what her heart truly wants.

Overall, No Commitment had everything that I love in a romance. Loads of feels, plenty of swoon, heaps of heat, the angst I desire and all of the banter. I loved every single word. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid rock star romance. That being said, please make sure to read Ask Me Later first. It takes you back to when these two first met. Five stars all around for Dani, Tyler and No Commitment!

No Commitment by Lisa Suzanne is a contemporary, second chance, secret baby, rockstar romance told in first person, dual POV. If you've read The Replacement War, then you've already met Tyler as a secondary character in that story. No Commitment takes place two years after Ask Me Later, the short-story prequel to this book.

Tyler Caldwell, bass player for the famous rock band, Capital Kingsmen, has just finished a two-year international tour. Now that he's back in the states, his first stop is a visit to the love of his life - the one that got away. They haven't talked in two years, but Tyler is determined to win her back. The last thing he expects is for Dani to be married.

Danielle Watson is a stay-at-home mom with a good husband, but her world turns upside down when her ex comes looking for her. Dani's feelings for Tyler are as strong as ever, and she's not happy with the life decisions she's made. She thought she was doing the best thing for her baby by getting married and giving her two stable parents. What kind of father would a never-around, no-commitment rockstar be anyway? But she should have told Tyler, and she knows it.

What will happen when Tyler finds out he's a father? Will he want a relationship with his daughter? Will Tyler be able to forgive Dani for keeping this huge secret from him? Or will it be the final straw that shatters their relationship beyond repair? Read the book to find out.

I loved Tyler and Dani's story! Once I started reading, it was hard to put it down. At times, I was frustrated with both characters and the choices they made - especially Dani. But deep down, I love it when characters make big mistakes, because it makes a more entertaining story as they work to right their wrongs. I've been looking forward to this story since I read the prequel in September, and I wasn't disappointed. Tyler intrigued me in The Replacement War, so I was excited to read a story where he was featured as a main character. No Commitment was emotional, steamy, and romantic. I'm looking forward to reading more about the other members of Capital Kingsmen in upcoming books.

5++++ Stars!!!

WOW!! What can I say…just allow yourself time because for me I read this book in one sitting. Meals, etc. be d*mmed!!

This was a rock romance that I absolutely LOVED!! It was a second/third chance romance with a rock star and his teenage crush. The timing just wasn’t right back then but they meet up again when Tyler is doing a show at a venue that Dani worked at. He definitely wasn’t that skinny band nerd she remembered. They hooked up with the understanding of “no commitment” even though they both stayed exclusive. Within that short time they connected again and Dani had a surprise for Tyler but she wasn’t going to tell him about it over facetime so she would wait until he got back from touring. The problem was when he got back he was sent to a reality TV show and would be in there for thirty days with no phone. It only got worse when he was sent directly from the TV show onto a plane headed for England to meet up with the rest of his bandmates who were already there for two more years straight of touring. Dani needed some type of commitment from Tyler for her surprise and he showed her that the band came first and she would be dealing with this all alone even though she was the one who blocked his number.

This book was full of secrets, surprises, betrayals, and hot, hot chemistry. The thing is secrets can either make you or break you so sit back and enjoy this fantastic book from an extremely talented author. You won’t regret it!!

"What a fantastic, thoroughly entertaining, rock-star, second chance, secret baby romance. I happily spent the day with Tyler, Dani and the men of CK. Sometimes, destiny wields a big stick and dangles the prize in front of you to only take it away at the last minute. Dani and Tyler bring the heat when they are in each other's vicinity, but with Tyler being a rock-star, he is gone for a long periods of time. Hindsight is a nasty bugger, you can be mad about the past, but it hinders you from moving forward. Both Dani and Tyler need to learn to trust and forgive each other and themselves. This is a story with some intense angst but you can't help but cheer them on to get their HEA. There are sweet touching moments and heartbreaking ones too. I am in love with this series and cannot wait for Brett's story

""This is need and desire and heat, of course, but it's also love and warmth and family. It's the future. And it's all rolled into one carnal connection."" ~ Tyler"

Talk about impossible situations that tug at your heart strings! No Commitment was the continuation of Dani and Tyler’s short story, Ask Me Later. It was an amazing and heartfelt journey of trying to figure out the ins and outs of what was and what could be.

Dani and Tyler had put a pause of their relationship while he was on tour. He was supposed to come back when it was over, but a TV show and an overseas tour had him gone for over two years. The fight they had before he left for the show had them at an impasse, at that point, how was she supposed to break the news of being pregnant?

When Tyler finally came back he knew he needed to find her, but when he was discovered she was married, what was he supposed to do? If she was happy, he needed to let her go. But when he saw there might still be something there, would loyalty or love win?

Holy Moly! My emotions were all over the place, there was no “right” way to figure out how to best handle everything. Everyone had a hand in how things turned out. No matter what, someone was going to get hurt, there was no way around it. But in the end, Dani had to do what was best for her!

I love Tyler. It's no wonder Dani fell and fell hard. The one thing I don't like is that Ford is actually a good guy. He didn't deserve Dani cheating on him. I kind of wanted Ford to have the most spectacular ending, maybe have a happier ever after than Dani does. Dani didn't deserve Tyler or Ford. But she lucked out with great guys in her life.

I loved the prequel Lisa wrote for these two's story but I had not expected that this would be where she'd take their story. The secret baby trope is something that always gets on my nerves because the reason to hide such a big thing is never good enough and well this one was pretty darn frustrating. Our heroine has a pretty crap reasoning and her attitude regarding this, even years later, is so annoying, and how long it took her to just come out and say it got on my nerves too.

I swear if I hadn't read the prequel and fallen in love with these two, this book would not have been for me but I'm thankful I did read the prequel and read their reconnection first hand because it made it easier to read this book. Tyler and Dani really shared a special bond and you could see from the start that there was no way they wouldn't end up together but the way they went about things, mainly Dani, just didn't sit right with me. Dani had been lost for years, and although she did what she thought was best for her daughter, she had no regard for what her actions would do to everyone else involved, not until it was too late.

Even still, I enjoyed this book. And reading about Tyler falling in love with his daughter since the moment he set eyes on her and knew she was his was just so adorable and the best thing about this book, really. He was immediately such a great father and did everything to make their lives easier so he could be a part of his daughter's life from that point onwards. It made Dani's reasoning for not having told him even more ridiculous and cruel. I would have absolutely hated her if it hadn't been so obvious and emotional how much she regretted hiding the truth and how she went about things when they broke up and she found out she was pregnant.

The connection between Tyler and Dani and their chemistry is pretty amazing too. That also helped a little in regards to everything else. Even if I don't like certain things in the plot, Lisa sure knows how to captivate her readers from the first chapter. I always devour her books. And I can't wait to read the other member's stories. I am so excited for the next book because of that bomb Lisa dropped at the end.

I don't know how I feel about this book. Overall, I liked it. It was heartwarming...

But, I hated the cheating part... that was definitely heartbreaking and disappointing. I understand it's a reality... that even women cheat... and cheating is always a conscious decision. I get that you love who you love but man... he didn't deserve it. He loved you, treated your kid like his own... Helped you through the tumultuous time of your life... and although we could see the separation looming and coming from miles away, still it was not—nice...

Tyler was... I didn't like him. He was a little bit self absorbed to not get where Danielle was coming from... why she did what she did at that time. He didn't exactly give her something promising and strong to hold onto... and Danielle, was self-absorbed as well. I know we can't help who out hearts beats for... and I guess that as humans, we make mistakes of passion but she is a grown woman... I don't know. I'm trying to see things through her eyes but she was acting out of haste... being rash... Nothing wrong with loving someone, but what she did... it was inhumane.

Sorry, the story wasn't all that bad. It was written well as a matter of fact. It was just not an easy read... it was... I don't know... it passionate and swoony but also frustrating...

No Commitment will hook you from the beginning till the end. We see the before of how the relationship of Dani and Tyler began and what drove them to be distanced for a few years. Then we see the now and our hearts hurt over and over. Dani had a major decision to make, was it right or wrong? That is going to be the hardest to decide. I still cannot say as I can see both sides of this. Dani and Tyler agreed to no commitment, but things took a turn and changed its course. Tyler left for commitments to his band, Capital Kingsmen and his feelings for Dani never changed, you can say they intensified over the years. Dani made the decision she thought best for her unborn child. She knew Tyler would need to be told when the time is right, but is it ever a right time. Ford made a decision many men would not do and your heart also hurts for him. I do love what Tyler did though it just showed that all of them acted as grown ups. This is all I will say to avoid a spoiler. Tyler went from no commitment to being very committed in showing that he was all in. The bond shared between both Tyler and Ford is heart melting when it comes to child bonding. You will see some rock stars are true rock stars and others are big softies when out of the public eye. If you enjoy rock stars, unplanned pregnancy and combustible chemistry this story is for you. Once again Lisa shows that no matter the storyline she will continue to give us all emotions and leave our hearts full in the end. I highly recommend this book or any book by her really. Love them all!

I live for Lisa Suzanne rockstars. Every book she gives us is always so entertaining, I immediately get lost in the story and completely invested in her characters and these two were fantastic. Tyler and Danielle’s story hit me right in the feels. It was angsty, emotional and sexy. I was totally enthralled throughout this addictive page turner.

I loved Tyler and Danielle’s story. It was sexy, angsty, funny, emotional, and romantic. Well developed characters, chemistry, interesting plot, and steam—everything I want from a rockstar romance.

No Commitment is everything I hoped it would be after reading the prequel Ask Me Later. This story picks up right where the prequel ended and then flashes us forward two years. Tyler and Dani were in a no commitment relationship but then things happen and decisions were made and this story is what happened after. The connection between these two is so clear and evident that you want to cheer them forward but then feelings become involved and new decisions have to be made. Lisa Suzanne plays with our emotions during this book in the love/hate relationship we form with the characters. It is always easier to make tough decisions when you are looking in from the outside but when you are in the moment, making the decision that seems right at the time it's never easy. This was a wonderful read from start to finish.

Tyler and Danielle started off with their relationship with "No Commitments" - things just needed to roll the way they roll. Unfortunately with a thirty day no communication allowed reality show and then a two year overseas tour, the two have hit road block after road block. Years have passed and lives have moved on, but Danie has kept a huge secret from Tyler. Secrets have their way of coming back to haunt you and when their paths collide everything comes to the fore front. Can they make their way back to each other? Or is the secret that Danie hid from him too much to overcome? From the opening pages to the very last word on the page, this book had me on the edge of my seat. My heart broke and I had tears in my eyes numerous times. Lisa Suzanne makes the reader feel like they are walking right along with her characters and feel all of the ups and downs they go through. In true Lisa Suzanne fashion, the reader will not be disappointed.

Tyler and Dani are going to cause waves in the emotional ocean. Their story shouldn't be this complicated but when you don't define a relationship that clearly is so much more than meets the eye this unfortunately is the consequences.

Their story is not a fairy tale. These two struggle with their love, the decisions, their careers and how to make it after holding back the mother of all secrets.

This book is a real look at the consequences of choices. Life doesn't come with a guide and sometimes you put the wrong piece in the wrong hole and sometimes you need more than a second chance to fix it.

I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

I loved this book. This book was so emotional for me and I had my ups and downs with so many people. I don’t know what I would have done if I was in Dani’s position of being pregnant with my rock star boyfriend Tyler who wanted no commitment was going to be on the road for over two years. I admired Ford for marrying Dani and helping raise Luna. I also felt bad for him at times as he knows the the love Dani had for Tyler. Ford is so in love with Luna and the two have such a loving relationship. My heart broke when Tyler went to Milwaukee to see Dani when he finished his tour and found out she was married. There are secrets Dani keeps from so many people she feels were for the right reasons. Secrets usually hurt someone though. There were times I wanted to knock Tyler’s band mates in the head. I loved little Luna and all the sweetness and love she showed people. There were times that my heart was broken for people in the book. Tyler was such a good person and proved he had such a good heart. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Amazon

What's a girl to do when her no commitment fling with a rockstar has unintended consequences? Well, if you're Dani, you block the guy from contacting you, marry another guy, and freak out years later when the rockstar waltzes back into your life and you have to face up to the big secret you kept from him.

Yep, that's this story in a nutshell. Of course, it's not quite that simple, and there is a lot of pain and angst and Tyler and Dani navigate their new situation with each other. Sometimes secret baby stories can get by without annoying me, but in this case, I was really irritated with Dani. Her reasoning for cutting Tyler off was just flimsy at best, cruel at worst, and it set the tone for my enjoyment. Still, I loved Tyler, how well he took to his situation, and I was glad in the end he got the love he deserved. Dani I did not care for, but Tyler was a great enough character to make up for her.

From the time they met Dani and Tyler knew they had a special connection, first starting off as friends in school, always flirting and joking around with one another. Then life took them in different directions and they went a few years without seeing one another, that is until they reconnected on one special weekend. Their reconnection was easy, they made no promises to one another, knowing they were both in places that didn't allow for something serious, but craving it anyhow. Then Tyler's career got in the way and they were once again pulled in different directions.

Dani moved on, got married to someone else, gave her heart to another man... thinking all the while that Tyler chose his career over her. But there wasn't a day that Tyler didn't think about her, he spent two years of his life traveling around the world doing shows. But now he is back stateside and he wants his girl... but what happens when he learns that she moved on?

No Commitment is a reunion story that will break your heart your heart in a millions, and manage to put it all back together again by the last page. The moment I started this one I knew my heart was in trouble, there was no possible way I was going to come out of this one unscathed. The words angered me at times, made the tears well, made me swoon, and made me rejoice... it is really a full circle kind of story. I adored Tyler, he went through A LOT for the woman he loved, and he paid dearly for that love. The man was put in a impossible situation, his decisions forced Dani to make questionable choices, and I questioned whether he could forgive her for those choices.(I am not so sure I could of!) My heart broke for this couple, life pushed them apart, but it was their undeniable connection and love that brought them back to one another. I loved this one for so many reasons, the main one being that it showed me once again that love always finds a way to prevail, no matter how impossible the situation may seem to be. I highly recommend you take a chance on this one, it's characters are bound to leave an indelible impression on your heart!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

I was intrigued by Danielle and Tyler after reading, Ask Me Later, the prequel to No Commitment their chemistry was combustible.

Danielle was living with choices she made that she thought was best at the time and my heart ached with her. The Danielle that she had lost the person she used to and was starting on a path to find that Danielle again. I have been doing that throughout 2020 so even under some questionable circumstances she was wading, I felt a deep connection with her.

Tyler isn’t your run of the mill famous rock star, he may have fit a few stereotypes but he was oh-so much more than that. He was cocky, passionate, his life was swirling chaos and he knew what it was to give him a sense of calm he just had to see her.

I was completely and utterly engrossing, I couldn’t put it down and in fact read it all in one sitting. Tyler and Danielle set off on this intense, angsty road that had me an absolute wreck. I was taken out of my comfort zone and I’m almost positive my blood pressure was through the roof. They had this fire between them that was so intense that it burned the air around them but sometimes a fire like that can lead to burns that don’t heal.

This is a story that is a great reminder that we don’t live in a world that’s black and white, it’s full of grey areas and at times it’s a rainbow of colors. It’s making decisions and having to live with the consequences, admitting your faults, and trying to right your wrongs, growing as a person, the importance of forgiving others, and most importantly forgiving yourself.

No Commitment is hands down my angstiest read of 2020. Tyler and Danielle’s story was all-consuming, the pace had my heart racing from the angst, holding my breath, and clutching my chest as their pain took over my feels, butterflies were rampant in my stomach because through all of it, there was love.

I got the chance to read Ask Me Later, the prequel to this book and it's a quick read, but I couldn't wait to get the full-length followup and friends, this did not disappoint. If you read The Replacement War, you've already met Tyler Caldwell and you know a bit about his story, and this book takes place two years after he was locked in the house for the reality show. We get the back story on how things broke down between Tyler and Dani, and the choice Dani made with the tiny bit of information she had to go on when she discovered she was pregnant.

I have to say I was surprised when the story picked up once Tyler made it back to Wisconsin two years after their last discussion and the bit of news he learned about Dani's current whereabouts. There are still PLENTY of unresolved feelings between Dani and Tyler, but things aren't quite so easy to pick up and resume, especially with the epic secret Dani's been keeping from Tyler. An even bigger bombshell than what Tyler learned when he got to Wisconsin. It's how Dani chooses to handle certain situations that had me wanting to reach into my e-reader and shake her. I could understand her decisions on some things, but there's one part I didn't agree with, no matter what her home life is like currently. But I'm sure everyone makes a less than sound decision at some point in their life, so why cast judgement if you're not in their shoes? I certainly couldn't blame Tyler's reaction and how he chose to move forward.

I liked that Tyler wasn't a typical rock star; he might have tried to move on during that two year separation, but he's not the type of musician who thinks he's God's gift and expects everyone to cater to him.

So, so excited for another series from Lisa!!! I loved Tyler in The Replacement War and I love how all Lisa’s books are standalone but also interwoven with the other books. Such a great world she’s built and I love that we get to spend time in it so often and for so long!

I enjoyed the story and the steamy scenes. I loved getting to meet the other members of Tyler’s band and can’t wait for their stories. I don’t generally mind cheating and I think Lisa handled it well and it is in integral part of this story. However, I can’t help but feel bad for Ford. I think if somewhere along the line we’d known more about how he ended up the “other man” even as the husband it might have made it easier to accept his storyline.

I finished this book in less than a day (including the prequel). The attraction Between Dani and Tyler is HOT, HOT, HOT and it was jumping off the pages with Lisa’s well written dialogue, running mental commentary and of course all of their interactions (both mainstream and steamy). I really enjoyed that Dani is a strong woman who KNOWS it mostly and only really needs a small reminder. This made her more relatable than the Heroines who are “hot trash” and need a whole book to get thier act together (although I like that trope too!).

Highly recommend this as with all Lisa’s books. And I am already anxiously looking forward to the next book in this series....wonder who’s book it will be?!?!?

I loved this book. I found it challenging in all the ways that I didn't expect. Both my emotions, empathy, morals etc were all involved!!!
He fell in love with her as a teen, even before he was a Rock Star and a chance meeting years later leads to an amazing weekend, falling even more in love !!! But the life of a rock star is never plain sailing right?
Life, commitments and circumstances can sometimes really throw us in the opposite direction than we planned and we find we can either chase after what we want or live regretting that we didn't!!
Things did not go as planned the way Tyler or Dani dreamt it would for their relationship.
Sketchy communication, doubts, hopes, trust and decisions that can be huge regrets sometimes can't be undone.
My heart broke for both in this books and i have to admit that even loving the book, at times i didn't particularly like Dani, well I liked Dani, just not her decisions or her logic in making them. Tyler i guess he made his decisions in the typical "man way" and yet his heart was always in the right place.
This is what i loved about this book so much, it was written so perfectly to really challenge your thoughts on each and everY decision they made, i spent half my time mumbling " no no don't do that" or "oh no this isn't what you need to do" yet i devoured each and every page !!! So many things in real life that i'm not a fan off, but these characters still made their way right into my heart even if i wanted to knock their heads together at times!! Now that's a talent i really love in an author, when they give you something that you just feel isn't going to end well and you reach that sweet place despite all your fears of soul mates losing the love of their life through their own misplaced actions !!

What a fantastic, thoroughly entertaining, rock-star, second chance, secret baby romance.

"This is need and desire and heat, of course, but it's also love and warmth and family. It's the future. And it's all rolled into one carnal connection." ~ Tyler

This is the first book I have read by Lisa Suzanne but it certainly won’t be the last because after reading No Commitment I’m really struggling to understand why this talented author has not crossed my path before now. This is Danielle and Tyler’s second chance at love and they have a captivating, entertaining tale to tell. I didn’t realise when I picked this up that there was a prequel to this couple story and honestly I’m not sure reading the prequel would have made this book any better because this story already rates as a five star read but that being said I will go back and read the prequel as soon as time permits.
Danielle and Tyler had a no rings attached relationship, they said from the word go that there would be no commitment after all Tyler was about to on tour with his band and he was also about to star in a 30 day reality show which had no outside contact. But the last night they were together would change both their lives forever and it’s only now just over 2 years later that Tyler realises his world has changed for the better......
This story touched me on so many levels, I laughed, I sighed, I swooned and I cried as I joined this couple on their journey. The chemistry is sizzling, the banter is witty but it’s the emotions that really tugged on my heartstrings. I can’t wait to read more in this series as well as other books from very talented author.
