Once again, these essays are amazing. The last one, about meditation in a religion-free world is, for me, awesome and stark. Emphasis on awesome. The essay "A Saint Beyond My Understanding" is also striking. I want to read so many of these again. I may have to buy this book or the next one that is published. Excellent overviews of some of the best thinking of Buddhism, mindfulness, meditation, compassion and kindness.

Great collection of a variety of types of writing on Buddhism. I got a lot of insight from this book and am now reading another edition in this series. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Buddhism.
