When I knew Aisling, she was my sister’s best friend.
Young.
Innocent.
Wild.

But that was then.

Now I’m hardened and ruthless.
A bare-knuckle boxer. An enforcer for the Clan.
And that carefree girl is a slave to her addictions with demons in her eyes.
And I want her.

When she witnesses a murder—a murder I committed—
I have no choice but to take her.

I’ll keep her silent.
I’ll keep her hostage.
I’ll see her freed from her addictions.

And then I’ll keep her bound to me… forever.

Warning: Offensive Treatment of Disability (scroll to bottom for details).

I haven't read this yet, but plan to.

Based on personal preference, I've liked some entries more than others -- as, of course, is to be expected from us all.

But here's what doesn't affect my enjoyment:

1) The fact that a character is a sex worker
2) The fact that a character has an addiction

Given that there are an estimated one million sex workers and nearly twenty million battling substance use disorders in the US alone, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I'll bet that a good portion have people they love and who love them. I'll bet some of them -- gasp! -- are even married or in long-term relationships.

Let me also share the definitions of "slut-shaming" (https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/sl...) and "abelism" (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dicti...), for those who are interested.

ETA: This Amazon review is exactly how I'm afraid I'm going to feel about this book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-re...

2nd ETA: I stopped reading when Tiernan spanks a woman going through withdrawal because, I don't know, he feels that she should be totally responsible for her actions even though she's going through said withdrawal? "I don’t care if she’s still in the throes of withdrawal. I don’t care what she’s doing. She won’t behave this way."

I get that these are fantasies, but once an H decides that punishment is more important than his h's well-being, I'm pretty much done. And I'm even more done when an author uses serious subject matter as nothing more than a melodramatic, sensationalistic plot point and makes no attempt to treat the subject with sensitivity (three-day detox and it's all good, doncha know). And I'm really done when an author treats disability (as addiction is) as something "bad" that one must be punished for.

This isn't the first book I've read by this author that represents disability in such an offensive way. It's too bad that she feels that it's just fine to do so.

And this is Reason #629 for why I push back at the very pervasive and popular "anything goes in fantasy so it's all good." Uh, actually, no, it isn't.

Seriously, Amazon: Classic British & Irish Fiction?

We have seen Tiernan grow in this series now its his turn. Some drama and steamy moments.

We seen Tiernan go from a angry teen to a angry fighter for the brotherhood, and dang he has learned the rules in the brotherhood. But when he does the right thing by killing a rapist he got a witness in his sisters best friend Aisling who was the one who almost got raped and is now a callgirl who has had a tough life and uses drugs to help her out. Now these two are forced together to 1. Keep what happened quite and make sure Aisling safe and clean.

I has mixed feelings on how Tiernan got Aisling clean. Like yes to food, water and showers and holding her. I was meh when he would spank her when she tried to escape like understand but did he need to when she was obvious still strung out?? Idk about spankings to help with the withdrawal so maybe it does help her?? Can't say since I never been withdrawn. Watching Aisling get clean in 3 days was hard to watch.. Beside that the group has to find out who is well a spy.

We have I think Tully next wonder if he's with the teacher.

Low angst, om drama (a ex she slept with) no ow drama, Drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, no virgins (she was a call girl)

These Irish stores of the McCarthy men make me swoon. The strapping Alpha Clan men are every woman’s fantasy and Tiernan is my new BBF.
He is a true strong Irish man who is protective, virile and dominating.
Jane Henry stories engage the reader and makes them crave more and she always delivers and then some.
Absolutely stunning story!

Jane Henry know how to tell a story that keeps her readers on the edge of their seats. From the first page,I was taken back to Ballyhock and swept away with the McCarthy Clan. My heart hurt for Aisling and how her life has turned out. But when she sees Tiernan do something she shouldn't have been witness too, her life is about to change again! Tiernan is charged with guarding and protecting her. He also has to get her through a few days of hard times. This story is full of twists, turns, betrayal, danger but also family. And when danger comes calling, it's going to be the family that pulls together to help Aisling. The little twist towards the end is something I didn't see coming but it fit perfectly in the story!! I loved seeing all the guys and their ladies from previous stories. They truly are a family. This series has become one of my very favorites and it sounds like we'll be getting Tully's story next. I can't wait!!

Tiernan is a must-read story of 2020. This book I have to admit brought me to tears a few times. Aisling is so hurt and sensitive but takes to drugs to hide her feelings and losing everyone she loved and knew all at one time didn't help. When Tiernan enters back into Aisling's life and makes her stay with him to clean up and find out what happened in her life to turn her into what she has become. In the meantime, things are going down in the Mafia that needs to be handled.

Tiernan is a fast pace, emotional rollercoaster, sexy read that keeps you on your feet. I enjoyed reading it just because of that. Jane Henry knows how to write a story to keep you entertained.

Tiernan was a really patient man, I think, which seems weird, considering. But he really takes his time with Aisling. She really needed that patience from him. I felt so sorry for her for all that she had gone through.

Jane Henry Does it Again! Fantastic Story & Listen 🎧📚🎧
Tiernan
Dangerous Doms, Book 6
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross

I am loving Jane Henry’s “Dangerous Doms” series, the characters and the dynamics of the mafia world she created is interesting and original. Each book features another member of the McCarthy Clan in Ballyhock, Ireland. Tiernan has been with the clan since he was a teen, even then he was protective of his two sisters, Fiona and Sheena. He may not have been born into the clan but he one of their most dedicated brothers, he is still a protector and a clan enforcer. A trained boxer who stopped competing for the sake of clan, but when offered a good sum of money to fight again, Keenan approves. Only the offer was not on the up and up. Aisling was Fiona’s friend when they were younger, she got a taste of the clan life, even dreamed of it but after family problems at home she fell out of touch with Fiona, then she fell on hard times and wound up in a bad way, using drugs and working tricks. Tiernan was promised first pick of any of Madam Vivian’s girls if he won the fight and he got a glimpse of in the line up of girls to choose from. But she was gone after the fight. She had run off and found herself in even more trouble, luckily Tiernan heard her screams as he was leaving and rescued her but her problems did not end there. Tiernan brings her to Ballyhock not just for her protection but his as well. Getting her sober and drug free is a challenge, getting her attitude straight is too. I loved his patience, also loved how the clan pulls together to help. This book captivated me from start to end, the story is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, it actually brings you to the edge of your seat several times. There is plenty of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a hot romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another awesome novel.

🎧📚🎧And for the wonderful narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue to do wonders for these characters as they bring them and their story to life. The do an awesome job portraying the characters, playing each role with perfections, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound, Irish accent and all. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and projects them into their performance. They are entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen!

I have loved the entire Dangerous Doms series. It is one of my favorite series out there. 'Tiernan' though strikes a cord with me. As a former addict, recovering addict, whatever you want to call it, I understand Ainsley better than I have any of character I've ever read. I understand that fear of "Oh God I'm gonna be sick!" I understand the feeling/fear of being a disappointment to those around you. I understand the insatiable hunger that addiction gives you. I understand the fucked up need to do whatever it takes to not be sick. I never went as far as Ainsley did, but I understand nonetheless. What Tiernan did for Ainsley is, in my opinion, the greatest form of love there is. Going through withdrawal is not pretty or fun, but to have someone stick by you the entire time, holding your hair, keeping you clean, feeding you, it takes a lot out of a person and not just anyone can do it. Though Lachlan and Fiona were destined by the stars and couldn't have been with anyone but each other was impossible, the love Tiernan has/shows for Ainsley is just as pure because it's one that can never be broken because he has seen her at her worst, the ugliest she'll ever be, and he still stuck by her when most others would've walked away from someone they once knew.

Continuing with the McCarthy clan's Dangerous Doms, this story follows Tiernan, a scruffy thin boy that became a grown, muscled enforcer for the clan, and Aisling, the friend of his sister Fiona who has found her life reduced to addiction and prostitution to survive. When Aisling is attacked and Tiernan rescues and defends her, they both end up in a serious situation. As they do what needs to be done so Tiernan can watch and protect Aisling, they come to be very attracted to each other. Tiernan is a dominant force, but I really admired his restraint. He used patience and understanding wile still making Aisling follow the rules. Their sex and Tiernan's control over Aisling is hot as can be it even helps Aisling deal with her fears and recovery over her demons.
I adore the McCarthys and hope there's at least one more McCarthy with his own story. Tully perhaps?

Love these hard headed Irish men. Tiernan lives for the thrill of the fighting ring, but he's been away for a while. He's looking forward to his return after the approval from his Clan Chief, Keenan. A chance encounter with a girl he used to know, Aisling. But she is nowhere near the girl she used to be, she's spiraling out of control. A witness to a crime by the McCarthy's see's her given to Tiernan to handle. It's not until he gets a suggestion from his brother Cormac, that he's back in control again. This sets the path for their relationship. What kind of a relationship is it with a broken woman bringing all her baggage and an enforcer for the Irish mob. Their demons are different and they are in quite a mess, and its a windy path to figure out how they will get out of the mess. You see the strong woman that Aisling is and it makes me smile on how Tiernan "handles" her. You won't be disappointed in the ending.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Tiernan and Aisling knew each other during their childhood. Aisling was his sister's best friend until they left. Now Tiernan is a boxer and enforcer for the Irish mob. Aisling sees something she shouldn't and is given to Tiernan to take care of and protect. Aisling has been through so much since childhood and struggles with addiction. The two have scorching chemistry but can they both put their demons to rest? A sensual, stunning read.

Once again, Jane Henry has created another character that will have you drooling. Tiernan, enforcer for the McCarthy Clan, is a tall, good-looking Irish guy who also is a fighter. It's a great story about him and Aisling, a beautiful woman he has known for years, but she has fallen into really bad times. His job is to save her from her own serious problems along with protecting the Clan. I love the McCarthy men and women. I would love to be a part of their family, mob or not!

MAKE MY DAY, LITTLE GIRL

One thing I can usually say, Ms. Jane Henry rarely disappoints with her writing, bigger than life characters, and scenarios. What a sixth great story to this series, Dangerous Doms, and with it, you have the good, the bad, and the ugly. The story keeps the pages turning with a powerful, dominant man, Tiernan Hurston, adopted into the family and loyal without a fault, and Aisling, a friend of Fiona.

Tiernan Hurston, along with sisters Sheena and Fiona, were removed from Stone City and brought to the McCarty compound. Tiernan was a bitter sixteen-year-old who had been the protector of his family. Keenan will place him at St. Albert’s, the clans finishing school where he will learn control, discipline, and the arts. It is at St. Albert’s and under the tutelage of Malachy that Tiernan will learn martial arts and boxing.

Aisling and Fiona had been close, but when it became dangerous for Fiona to remain in America, she will return to Ireland, where she and Lachlan marry. Aisling is like a lost girl; her parents' divorce, her mother moves to America, and her father takes his own life. How did she fall so far that now she is a call girl? Not only that, she is strung out on drugs to survive.

The story will have Keenan giving Tiernan permission to once again be in the boxing ring for a fight. The entire McCarthy family will be there to lend support. There is a high dollar prize plus a guarantee for a night with one of Miss Vivian’s girls. What a shock when Aisling sees that one of the fighters is none other than Tiernan. Can she get away without him finding her? This is the man she has loved from a distance, a man of the McCarthy clan, and her best mate’s brother.

This story's plot will bring Aisling and Tiernan together when he hears a woman screaming for help and finds a man attacking with the intent of rape. He will kill him and see that the woman is none other than Aisling. Now, the McCarthy clan must cover this up, get her to the compound and deal with her and Tiernan.

“You killed a man for her tonight, Tiernan. It’ll be your job to keep her. She’s your responsibility now. You have to make it clear she will not report you,” Keenan says. “And since you made this bed, you’ll have to sleep in it.”

Before they can see what will happen, Tiernan will work for days helping Aisling come down off of withdrawal, then news of who the man was he killed will escalate things, and they will need to go in hiding. The story is packed full of mystery, suspense, life and death danger, dominant men, and the submissive but strong-willed woman that loves them. The chemistry between Tiernan and Aisling adds a delicious layer to this tale. It includes strict discipline, spankings, and sizzling hot sex scenes. But all that isn’t enough when danger and threats are coming at you.

“You aren’t alone in this. You don’t fight these battles alone. You’ve got an army of brothers here who’ve got your back. Don’t take any of this on alone.”—Lachlan

Ms. Jane' Henry's characters are powerful men, not without imperfections, and nothing that happens in her books are over the top. Her books are page-turners with plenty of mystery, suspense, danger, and action. Throw in a dominant man, Tiernan, loyal through and through, and then his feelings for Aisling. It was one thing to protect a woman in need, but this woman means something to him. Their journey will be riddled with trials and life and death scenarios. Together, with Keenan’s approval, they will find a way to stay together.

“It’s the joining of two souls who’ve found one another despite everything that’s threatened to tear them apart.”

So this was actually my least favorite of this series, sadly. I was really looking forward to Tiernan’s story, but he’s stuck watching over a girl who has a drug addiction that used to be his sister’s best friend. There is no explanation given as to why Aisling and Fiona even had the falling out. There is no real explanation as to how Aisling fell into drug use. There is no continuation of her withdrawal symptoms after three days, nor is there any evidence that she struggles with the urge again, even though the book *says* she does. It’s not shown so don’t tell me if you’re not gonna *show* me. Aisling really has no personality at all except being on drugs and then not being on drugs, and at that point she’s just a f*** toy for Tiernan, who of course has an insane desire to protect her now, even though he knows nothing about her anymore. The book keeps saying how she was as a kid isn’t who she is now, but we’re not shown who she is now. The only plot is trying to keep her safe from someone trying to frame her for a death, which when we find out who framed her, makes no sense at all. It’s convoluted and weird.

I just wanted more from this one and didn’t get it. Nolan, Carson, and Lachlan are still my favorites. I recommend all of those.

This is another hard book to rate. It had some good moments and ones not as strong.

Overall, I enjoyed reading Tiernan’s story.

Aisling was a sweet soul who was handed a dud hand in life. I like that the clan offered her a safer space and a new lease on life.

I received an ARC from the author/book funnel and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is book 6 of the Dangerous Doms series and characters from those books appear here. It is best to start at book 1 for maximum enjoyment.

Triggers: drug use, prostitution, attempted sexual assault, domestic discipline, mild bdsm elements, murder

**spoilers**
Tiernan, brother to Sheena (Nolan book 3) and Fiona (Lachlan book 5) is part of the McCarthy Clan and works as their enforcer. He has come a long way from being a poor, neglected and angry child.

Aisling, once a wild child and former friend to Fiona, she had a crush on Tiernan as a young girl. Now 21 years old, after her mom remarries and moves to America and her father's suicide, Aisling is now a junkie and apparently had to work as a prostitute to support herself.

At a fight, Aisling is there to be given to one of the fighters as a prize. Things go wrong, she is assaulted, then rescued and her would be rapist is killed. But she tells the clan members she will tell authorities if they make her go with them. Straight up this girl is TSTL. [You are saved from further physical assault and attempted rape by your attacker and you want to tattle on the mob?]

Tiernan takes her to the McCarthy homestead where with the help of the clan doctor, Aisling is detoxed in 3 days. No need for meetings or support she's all drug free now. Some drama, a bit of suspense but it's all wrapped up in a week with these two declaring their love for one another. (insert eyeroll)

I have enjoyed the other stories in the series, they follow a formula with a bit of change here and there. The men are all alphas; over protective, domineering, faithful but overall you know they love their woman. The women for the most part are fairly easy to connect with. This girl however, she is a junkie prostitute. I still didn't care much for her at the end. I find it hard to believe a man of the clan is going to attach himself long term to a prostitute especially given that his mom was an addict and prostitute. The author has killed off a woman of the clan before, maybe this one will not last long. On a positive note, lots of sexy time.

Tiernan is book six of the A Dark Irish Mafia Romance (Dangerous Doms) series, but it reads as a stand-alone.
Tiernan was introduced in Nolan’s book. He is Fiona’s brother. He joined the McCarthy family when Fiona marries Nolan. Tiernan has been a fighter and a protector all his life. Joining the McCarthy clan and moving up the ranks to become an enforcer was only natural. When an old pal meets up with Tiernan about a chance to go back in the ring, Tiernan can’t refuse. With Keenan’s blessing and backing, what could go wrong.
Aisling grew up with Tiernan and his family, she was Fiona’s best mate in school. They lost touch once Fiona married Nolan. How can Aisling stay out of Tiernan’s line of sight during and after the boxing match? She has had a crush on him for as long as she could remember. Her plans go haywire when Tiernan comes to the rescue and she witnesses him killing a would-be rapist.
They are now thrust together. He will help Ailing fight her demons. Tiernan is controlling, dominate, and very attracted to Aisling. Will their past detour their budding relationship? Will the clan’s enemies break them apart and tear down the clan?
Ms. Henry has done it again! Bring us back to the wonderful Irish coast to the town of Ballyhock, into the lives of the McCarthy clan. Each book gets better and better. I wasn’t interested in Tiernan until he told his story. It was nice seeing some of my favorite characters make an appearance in this book. Showing us a little more of the clan and their relationship with each other.
Jane Henry is on of my one-click authors and this series proves why. She has the ability to weave a spell binding story with love, intrigue, and steamy yummy alpha sex – yes, I love the spanking scenes.
The characters are complex and in no way perfect, their flaws bring out their true qualities. I am now waiting with baited breath for the next installment of the McCarthy clan book.

Another PHENOMENAL, can’t-miss MUST-READ about the Irish McCarthy Clan and TRUE LOVE!
If you are looking for that one seminal romance that will get you through whatever you’re facing, then your search is over! TIERNAN, author Jane Henry’s latest addition to her magnificent Dark Irish Mafia series, is an inspiring story of redemption and an epic tale of love. TIERNAN, like the other four titles in Ms. Henry’s Dangerous Doms series, is totally standalone, and its action-filled suspense will have you reading long after you’d plan to stop. In fact, Jane Henry’s prose kept me breathless, unable to stop until I had read EVERY Word! Set in Ireland, readers are taken into a world that is both seductive and complex, a world that is so compelling that it is difficult to come back to life’s reality. This world has also given birth to five intriguing and captivating stories and the promise of at least one more. As with all of the titillating novels author Jane Henry writes, TIERNAN is less about the kink – although there is plenty of HEAT – and more about the love story between Tiernan and Aisling. With prose both alluring and descriptive, author Henry weaves a tale of two strong personalities who find themselves leaning on each other as they face the peril life has brought them. That peril pulls readers into the middle of the action with characters who seem both real and worthy. If you are 18 or over and are not offended by spankings and sexual scenes, then TIERNAN should be your next romance purchase! I volunteered to read a copy of TIERNAN, and this is my honest, voluntary review. I wish I could award more than five stars on this one, as it is JUST. THAT. GOOD!! I have purchased a copy of TIERNAN as well and plan to put it in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle. Get your copy of TIERNAN today! Happy pages! 😉

A simply riveting read, full of action and intrigue
Once again, this author has written another wonderful book that is filled with drama and action, wonderful characters and a plot that is simply so well written that once you begin reading it is impossible to put down.

This story begins with a childhood friend that through no real fault of her own except for dire circumstance, a mother that decided to leave her and go to the USA and father that had taken his own life and this had all lead up to her becoming hooked on narcotics and working for a madame,

Tiernan Hurston had never forgotten Aisling and when he had seen her sitting in the front row with the women up for the taking that night he had felt his blood rise, then seeing her fighting for her life had been none than he could tolerate, No man from McCarty clan would stand by and see a woman treated in such an appalling way and he had stepped in, now he was responsible for Aisling’s care.

Tiernan is the protector of the McCarty family and it is a role he is extremely proud to hold and he is a born fighter, he is also a keen family man and wants a family of his own and children but until now these have only been pipe dreams. However, with Aisling in his life he can feel the growing attraction and love and he knows that there is something very special between them both.

This is a wonderful read and I can assure you that you will be like me and have to read it in one sitting and you will be totally blown away.

The only disappointing thing is having to wait for the next book to be released, as soon as she publishes it, I will read it and then be waiting earnestly for the next publication which never fails to disappoint.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Tiernan Hurston is now the enforcer of the McCarthy Clan. A young man that started out as a teen with a chip on his shoulder when he first arrived at the McCarthy compound, he has accepted his place in the Clan and family and is proud of his family. He has come a long way since we first met him as a young teen boy protecting his younger siblings and caring for them. He’s always been a caring man and he’s grown into the man he is. Now he wants what his brothers all have, a woman to love and care for.

Aisling was best friends with Tiernan’s younger sister, Fiona when they were growing up. Since Fiona has married Lachlan, they’ve had a falling out and are no longer in touch. When Aisling finds herself in a dangerous situation and needing help she’s not ready for the man that comes to her rescue, but he’s not letting go, nor is he going to let her stand on her own any longer, Tiernan will fight to protect Aisling and help her find her new self.

I love the McCarthy’s and Tiernan and Aisling’s story was just as good if not better that the others. These men always get what they want, and they may not take their partners in the traditional ways, but they take the ones that are definitely meant for them. Tiernan and Aisling need to figure out who’s out to get her and make sure that they don’t succeed. There’s more going on though than what the McCarthy’s can see. They will stand as one to protect anyone that is a friend to the family, and Aisling falls into that category, so she has an army behind her. I loved this story and give it a 5-star review and I cannot wait for Tully’s story to come out. These men are loyal, determined, Irish and very tempting. Their women are strong, loyal and keep them on their toes all the time. They don’t sit down and take orders easily from their men, but they do respect the Clan and their laws at all times.

Tiernan is the sixth book in the Dangerous Doms series. It could stand alone, but some of the back story and other characters would make more sense if you read this series in order. The night that Tiernan wins a fight, he finds a blast from his past and then kills for her. Aisling’s life has fallen apart, but Tiernan is determined to help put it all back together. But will their growing connection defeat the shadows of their pasts and the danger that stalks Aisling?

Talk about a heart pounding book! There’s so many secrets and feelings and I knew that by the end of the second chapter, I was going to be in for a wild and amazing ride! Tiernan and Aisling made an amazing couple full of passion and heartache and finding not just themselves, but where you fit in with the family surrounding them. Aisling just about broke my heart in the beginning. I never wanted to judge her, but I loved that we saw quick glimpses into who she was, but my favorite was watching her bloom into who she was meant to be. There are many struggles and confidence issues and shame to battle, but I loved her inner strength! Also, major kudos to Ms. Henry for writing about the rough road to recovery! Phew, that Tiernan! He was bloody perfect for Aisling! He provided her with stern guidance, boundaries, someone to watch her back, and an outlet for her passion and hurts. I loved him when he was stern, but he had my heart pumping when he was tender and protective. They had an instantaneous connection that drew them together, and I loved that they both wanted to fight for each other. I loved the drama and danger aspects in this book and I loved seeing past characters and most of all, I loved the relationship! It’s so real and raw and gritty and perfect! This book blew my expectations and I can’t wait to read more from Ms. Henry!

This story grabs you from beginning to end its a rollercoaster ride full of action, intense drama, murder, secrets, lies, betrayal, suspense, intrigue, mystery, angst, sizzling hot steamy scenes, addiction, twists making for an addicting read.
Tiernan is home from St. Alberta School he's the Enforcer for the McCarthy Clan he's invited to fight in the ring something he loves by Danny Cook alot if money riding on the fight " CEDRIC CAGE" is the fighter he's ruthless, vicious, unpredictable he'd been banned from the ring forever he's out to kill Tiernan.
Aisling was Fiona's BF when youger they had a falling out her brother Tiernan she had a crush on she was watching his fight when all h*ll breaks loose and they leave she gets attacked by Edmund Doyle the Prime Minister Son the one she was with the night before he's trying to rape her screaming then Tiernan is there she witness's something she shouldn't.

Well what can one say when you get to read another stunning book by one terrific author. Tiernan has grown up to be another loyal man of the clan. We first met him a couple of books back and now hes much older, wiser stronger, but still followers the traditions of the McCarthy clan. What i loved also in this is that this fabulous author has written in about the orginal men in the Clan and even though they are getting older and as such are handling some of the responsibilities to the younger men.

Tiernanis doing a daily workout when he is approached by a boxer stating he should come back to the ring. Given permission by keenan he goes along with other menbers of the family. Only to discover his oppent waa trying to kill him. But as hes goibg out hes sure he spots Asiling.
For the past two years Aisling has been off the rails, drinking nand doing drugs, now she works as a girl for Vivian. However she can get her fix she will so when she woke up this morning and found her client had stolen her money she wasnt happy. Now watching Tiernan nearly be killed she has to go and see him. Only she gets accosted by the man from the morning. She is rescued by Tiernan, and taken of by members of the Clan.
It is Teirnans job to take care of Aisling but she has always had a crush in him so when they are confined he shows her the McCarthy way of looking after their women. Soon she realises that Clan look after their own.
This terrific story is a must read and i have only just touched the surface in this review, im sure you will totally enjoy this as well.

Tiernan
Dangerous Doms, Book 6
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross

I love this series and adore Jane Henry's writing, but I have to say I have been waiting for this character to get his own story! Since we first met him, with his sisters Fiona and Sheena, I was intrigued with this man. Brought in as a young man who did everything to protect his sisters, we watched him mature and grow into the strong man that he is. Learning boxing in finishing school, Tiernan had found his calling. Now starting his next match, who does he see in the row, but Aisling, Fiona's ex-best friend! And our story begins. We get to take their journey as Tiernan and Aisling fall in love. It's not pretty, it's not easy, but it's strong and true. Tiernan proves to be the man I knew he would turn into with the McCarty men behind him. Aisling turns out to be quite a handful. Not in the best of circumstances, finding herself under the protection(and imprisonment...lol) of the clan is the best thing that could have happened. Love, love, love this series! Jane has outdone herself with the Dangerous Doms!

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue their fabulous Irish narration as Tiernan and Aisling. These two just exude chemistry, and we can feel it through the characters they portray. The accents are spot on, the voices from book to book consistent and the performance one I know I can count on to enjoy! These two are made for this series, creating our Dangerous Doms world so that we can hear and see it in our minds!

Tiernan and Aisling's story is a little different. Aisling was Fiona's best friend at one time. When Fiona married into the clan and left college she and Aisling had some kind of following out. Aisling's mother left her and moved to America with her new husband and Aisling's father died. Alone and with no job she has fallen on hard times and developed a drug dependency. She is not proud of how she is supporting herself and that makes her even more of a slave to the drugs.

Tiernan has become the clan enforcer and even though he loved his bare knuckle fights he gave them up when trouble was stalking the family. He is made an offer that is hard to refuse. For just one fight, win or lose, he stands to make a lot of money and there is even an offer of a high class woman for the night. When Keenan not only oks the fight, but shows up with the whole clan family, Tiernan is proud and determined to win. Unfortunately, his opponent has some kind of grudge against the McCarthys and pulls a knife when the fight is not going his way.

Aisling can not believe that she is watching her friend's brother fight. She hopes she is chosen to be his woman for the night. Things don't work out quite the way she wants as she is attacked by an irate former john and Tiernan comes to her rescue and kills the man. The next thing she knows she is his prisoner and he is calling the shots as he forces her to kick the drugs and to obey him. Find out how they get out of the mess she has caused!

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series, but Tiernan and Aisling’s
story surpassed all of my expectations. There was so many layers of
complexity to their relationship.Their mutual attraction smouldered
and it did not take long to burst into flames.

This couple certainly kept me on my toes .Tiernan intrigued me with
his absolute determination to help Aisling overcome her demons. He
had matured from an angry young man to become the Enforcer for
the McCarthy Clan.Aisling had drifted off course until Tiernan came
back into her life.He took control knowing what she needed, but
would her choices come back to haunt her. Would the price be too high.

Every time that they made it through a crisis another would pop up.
It was only their capacity to think on their feet kept them ahead of
danger.Tiernan and Aisling had their strengths that they brought to
their relationship.I feel when danger was near their connection
intensified.I adored Tiernan for his warmth, strength, and compassion.
I admired Aisling for her courage and resilience. Just like all of the men
in the clan, Tiernan was stern, dominant, protective, and Oh, so sexy.

Overall, this was a solid read. The premise was outstanding. It plays on
your mind while delving into the psychology of both characters, which
is what sets this book apart.

Tiernan & Aisling = Can they learn to trust in order to find love?

Tiernan: A Dark Irish Mafia Romance (Dangerous Doms) is another story centered around the McCarthy Clan. Tiernan and Aisling finally got their own story. Tiernan is an action-packed story with twists and turns and plenty of suspense. Jane Henry takes the readers on a fast-paced journey. We get to check up with a few of the characters from previous books.

Tiernan is a hot and bossy alpha male. He is also a very loyal, protective man. Tiernan helps save Aisling after his boxing match. He will do anything to help save Aisling from her demons and anyone that tries to hurt her.

Aisling was Tiernan’s sister’s best friend. She has had a very rough few years. Aisling is a feisty, independent young woman. She has had a crush on Tiernan for years.

Tiernan and Aisling have great chemistry and lots of steamy scenes. I love the banter and interaction that Tiernan and Aisling have together. They both have to learn to trust and be vulnerable with each other in order to find love and happily ever after.

Tiernan is a well-written story with unique characters. This story has suspense, love, romance, dominant alpha males, action, and a hea.
