Ancient relics, world domination, mind control, and a dynasty of cut-throat soldiers intent on capturing the archeological team that could save the world are just the beginning of this unparalleled quest. The scepter, an ancient relic used to amplify the mind control power wielded by the papal cap, is hidden deep below the 200 pyramids of Meroe. Samuel, Shafira, and the team will need to unravel a mystery of clues and enter the underground passages to find the scepter before the evil Bruard dynasty does. But, when Shafira is abducted, will Samuel save her and bow to the power of the Bruard, or will he sacrifice his morals to save the world?
‘The Spring Dream is when mankind blooms with St. Augustine’s truth.’ I love the tight focus on the characters, the action and adventure, the moral choices, the plucky team who's got each others' backs-all of it. But most of all I love the unrelenting sense of optimism in this series, the humour which overcomes and strengthens the resolve to fight for everything that’s worth for. A really intrepid, intriguing and passionate thriller! I am voluntarily leaving a review with no obligation of an advance copy I received from the author.
I'm sure Sharifa does. Lots of adventures in different cities, Iot of different tasks trying desperately to follow Fatima's instructions to save the world. Now Ford and Pin have Sharifa. They don't know where Fatima is or whether she's dead or alive. Now they have to keep the relic safe and save Sharif a. Great job. Thank you.
Tom Hunter keeps you on your toes trying to figure out what is going to happen next. I like the commeradery of the six team members and the way they are forming a bond even though their backgrounds are so varied.
Definitely an interesting tale with the only problem being the slow acting stilted structure of the author as he moves from spot to spot in the ongoing saga.
