Two authors here, Casey J. Quinlan and Brian K. Edwards investigate an eyewitness account who saw an actual shooter in Dealey Plaza. Great! So at long last we have someone stood on the sixth floor of the TSBD building who watched as Oswald fired the three shots from the sniper's nest. It has taken forty five years, but now we can finally close the case on the lone nut. Conspiracy schmiracy.
But wait. What do we have here? A witness standing 250 yards behind the assassin who shoots from behind that picket fence up on the knowl, then quickly passes the rifle to man in railway overalls who breaks it down, puts it in bag and walks off along railway lines. Meanwhile shooter walks back, turns into Secret Service man with i.d. when confronted by D.P.D. and eventually leaves the area in light coloured Rambler station wagon. Is this the same vehicle witnessed around the Plaza after the shooting, picking up other suspects, including a LHO lookalike who ran from the TSBD into this vehicle on Elm Street, as witnessed by Deputy Sheriff Roger Craig?
The eyewitness is deaf mute Ed Hoffman who's story has been told before by Jim Marrs, Nigel Turner and Bill Sloan. As well as being carelessly dismissed by Gerald Posner. JFK Lancer's 2008 publication of 'Beyond the Fence Line' studies Hoffman's story with grainy black and white photographs, aerial plans and maps, copies of FBI documents, along with over seventy scene of crime witness statements (many of them from Police department personnel) that corroborate with Hoffman.
Once again, three cheers for JFK Lancer, the authors and Ed Hoffman. Three stars too.

If you have an interest in the JFK assassination then this book is a must read! It gives a view from behind the Grassy Knoll and what happened before, during and then after the fatal shot was fired. Put away all the stupid lone gunman lies, the driver or hiding in the sewer drain........don't get misled by the cover stories and the lies to distract you, this was a MOB hit and was carried out professionally and then covered up by Hoover and cleaned up by Jack Rubenstein (Ruby) when Officer Tippet failed to catch the patsy Oswald upon leaving the T.S.B.D. Even the shooter is described as Charles Nicoletti. Read the book and look at all the facts and covering up that has gone on for nearly 58 years! Thanks to the brave Ed Hoffman, who although ignored kept what he saw and got it into print for us all to read. RIP Ed and thank you for the truth and your bravery. 10/10.

I have heard of and admired Mr Hoffman. The descriptions of what went on behind the fence bring to mind the book I read by James Files. The similarities are amazing
