Excellent!

Currently considering my second Savannah with a view to possibly breeding in the future I wanted some easy to read information on this aspect of husbandry. My eighteen month old Bosc has done very well and I have truely enjoyed having him as part of the "family" but breeding is a little more complex and I wanted something to give me simple but factual advice on how this might play out before adding another animal. I looked at several books,Robert Spracklands being one of those. However I went for this edition as I knew some of Marks previous works and found them extremely helpful. This didn't disappoint! Not only did it give me the new information I wanted but it was a pleasure to read and fascinating insights into behaviours my boy hasn't exhibited. For an all round guide, factual information and scientific data I would highly recommend this for any monitor enthusiast. At no point does it read as experts talking down to those still learning but as a gentle guide from one Herpetologist to another. Thank you again Mark for your insights (and humour) I look forward to increasing my monitor family using your help to ensure that they have a long, happy and healthy life with us.
