Excellent book! Very little business advice, much more of a road trip journal and chronicle of a dying marriage and a living company that consumed the author.

Great to hear Jason's journey. Wish there was more about the company. The book is more about a travel journal than business book. Thoroughly enjoyed his story of love for his dog, Java, and his wife, Emily. I would like a follow up book about how the company grew.

I am a GORUCK fan and had thought this would be a detailed account of the challenges, setbacks, early wins associated with the business and how it evolved over time. That is not at all what this book is. It is part travel journal, part relationship diary, and part stream of consciousness prose.
