The Foundlings' Tale is the first spin off book from C. C. Uzoh's Children of the Shadows trilogy. While this book can stand alone it does hint at what has happened before and makes you want to read the trilogy. I read Children of the Shadows: Unearthing the Ritual a few months ago and to this day have not forgotten the experience it provided. The Foundlings' Tale is geared towards pre-teens and young adults although as an adult I enjoyed it and will continue to read this new series. Dubem and O ...more
