Great-grandpa's Science Fiction

The stories kept my interest. But as scientific knowledge accumulates, old hypotheses are left behind. The science fiction here is a timepiece, with all the lingo and cultural assumptions my father's world, a world that does interest me, just because it was my father's. But that said, the themes of the stories still resonate.

More fiction than science

A lot of somewhat improbable plots in this anthology. Mars men might slide by but Moon men and men from Venus is pushing It a lot.
Easly over the top was men on Pluto and living inside Saturn or on Mercury.

Fine Sci-Fi!

Most of these stories are new to me but there were some I've read before. Such is the case with selected short story books. But don't let that stop you from reading it. You'll enjoy it too.

Some good some not so good

Good story line for some of the stories. I really hate it when the author goes on and on about nothing. I wish there was a TOC for this book

A lot of obscure and not found elsewhere golden age (1950's) fiction.
If you're a fan of the classic pulps, this is a must have
