The book Because Every Round Counts by George Morris is about two different things. The first thing is how the sport is not the same anymore. The trainers train differently, the rules have changed and the horses are an upgrade. The second thing is when riders have a bad round they blame it on the horse. The horse will get no credit. The main reasons a rider will have rail is because of them. Every time you finish a course you give you horse a pat and thank them for not killing you.

I loved this book it was very factual. It had a lot about horsemanship. It taught me a lot. It gives you specific detail. Everything he wrote had good reasoning behind it.

I recommend this to a new rider or an adult. This book may be a little to long for young kids.
