I absolutely loved this book when I was first introduced to it by the author at a literacy workshop in Manchester around 1990. Paul brought along his own creations which you just wanted to keep forever as they were so beautiful. I used the ideas with my pupils and my own children alike. All were inspired and came to love and connect with the little books they had created. My daughter is now over 30 and she treasures her own Mrs Pepperpot storybook, and my sons drawings for his books were prized just as much. I have been trying to find a replacement for my own lost copy for a while and am very happy to own this manual once more.
Paul doesn't seem to do much now in the way of UK courses as far as I can find out, but if he ever sees this I would like to tell him how much this book meant to me. Thank you Paul.

What a great guide - presents a large variety of book making and 3D projects, all within the context of getting students excited about reading. How can one go wrong with this? you can't! I'm currently looking for a copy of this to add to my personal library, it is that useful.
