So let’s back-track a bit.

I’m Bailey Finch: twenty-four, living in LA, and working as the lowly Calendar Editor for a trendy Love & Relationships magazine - think Cosmo on methamphetamines. I mostly take coffee orders.

I’m also woefully body-conscious, clinically anxious, and still a virgin. Not the cute, quirky sort, either. I’m a borderline train-wreck on my best days, an

XXX: was a cute debut book for the author. I did like the original storyline. So going in, I was excited and couldn't wait for the banter and steam.

XXX: kind of fell flat for me; I did like the banter between Baily and Eli. My concern is I couldn't feel their connection. With Eli being a porn star, I expected more from him, and Bailey, at times, seemed to whiney for me.

On a positive note, I did laugh, and in general, I did like the story.

A friend shared this new release on her blog and once I read the blurb I just had to read it. This book was so much more than I had expected. It was fun and witty yet emotional and angsty!

Bailey thought herself to be a boring girl. She had her job, one close friend and pretty much kept to herself. She was quirky and full of life. She was often unfiltered which was totally refreshing! She was open-minded and was constantly thinking. She wasn't super model beautiful and she definitely struggled wi

This book was such a huge surprise.
When I read the blurb I knew it was a book I had to read. This kind of trope is one of my favorites. A virgin and a porn star? Sign me up.
But this book was such a nice surprise. It was nothing like I expected but everything I wanted from a book like this.
Elijah Mattox is a world famous porn star. He is the most popular in the industry and Bailey is about to interview him for the magazine she works for. It's her first big piece and she knows she has to make it w

Maybe I'm being too overly picky, but I was just expecting so much more out of this book. This was this authors debut novel, and it is good.. it was just missing something special. Add to the fact that I couldn't stand the heroine and how cold and dumb she was didn't help much either. I can't say I really loved Eli, either. There was something almost creepy about how attached he was to Bailey so quickly. Or maybe it was just me.💁

There was definitely some hilarious moments, and for being her debu

Apparently the old title triggered an Amazon filter that was resulting in users unable to locate the book. Which sucks.

After some debate, I've opted to change the title. RATED-XXX is now titled HOT WET TRAINWRECK.

I like the new title, but am still a little sad. In any case, it's the same book, just now under a different name.

A Cute Little Debut Ditty...

Well for me, Mya Oh did a great job on her debut novel. She's an author with the writing style I like to read, quirky, funny and talking to her audience. You can tell she put a lot into this book, however didn't take herself too seriously.

Rated-XXX didn't catch my eye with the title alone, I needed to see who this self-proclaimed part time "dumpster fire" was and I wasn't disappointed in Bailey Finch at all. The girl was a mess, mentally, physically (according to her

Over the weekend I picked up the debut novel from Mya Oh (congrats btw! I’m super excited for you).

Honestly, this isn’t my typical go to for a read, but the Tag Line caught me: “a virgin. a porn star. a novel.” And it just struck me as something that might be fun! A book that probably isn’t going to take itself too seriously and I love indie books. So, why the hell not?

Honestly, I really did enjoy this. It was surprisingly sweet considering it involves a porn star. And right up to the end I wasn

I’m not going to lie I REALLY enjoyed this book! This is a fantastic debut novel, the storyline was fantastic, the writing was spot on. I felt everything our heroine Bailey felt. Just a really wonderfully written story.

I want to first start by saying the blurb for this one had me super intrigued, honestly I think the title first caught my attention. But once reading the blurb I knew I had to give it a try.

I need to first start by saying this book is not what I expected. I expected a smutty come

Rated – XXX is the debut novel by Mya Oh. The story follows Bailey Finch, who works as the Calendar Editor for a sex and relationships magazine, when the ultimate opportunity falls into her lap. Her very first magazine interview with none other than the Elijah Mattox a wanna-be mainstream actor who is also the main headliner in porn….what could possibly go wrong?

This book was sweet, quirky, and funny. Bailey is a hoot to read about and she manages to get into lots of trouble when she is left uns

When Bailey gets the opportunity to interview a huge porn star for the magazine she works for she is stoked. Nervous but excited, she heads to the first meeting not expecting the person that she got. There is a spark, some kind of chemistry between them, but how would that even work, the porn star and the virgin? That sounds like a bad joke, but Eli is very interested in Bailey despite all the chaos she causes. Will she be able to deal with the fact that his job is
h is so insecure and self fat-shaming it made it hard to believe the H would even find her attractive or be interested in her. This needed his POV...DESPERATELY. Without it, I couldn’t believe his sincerity. His total inability to realize how his job hurt her on a personal/emotional level.

This has so much potential. I flew through the pages. It just needed more. More words, H’s POV, a virgin h that didn’t act like she was 15, and definitely less fat-shaming and fewer insecurities.

Mya Oh makes a fantastic debut with Rated-XXX! With great writing and a story that definitely had me feeling things this book is one I can definitely recommend for those who love romantic comedy but want to dip their toes outside of the typical rom-com pond. While there was a lot about this book I loved there were also some hard limits for me that it crossed, so I find myself a bit torn on this rating.
I ultimately had a real love hate relationship with Eli and Bailey's relationship. The

The idea of this story sounded just my cup of tea; porn star and a virgin! The plot took a while to pull me in and, initially, I found the relationship difficult to understand, However, by the end, it all came to light and I understood and was happy that I’d read it. This story has an original plot with a slow build that got better as it went along.

Bailey has such low self-esteem and a bad body image and I absolutely empathised with her. I could put myself in her shoes and I cringed, got depress

The first thing that caught my eye when I saw the sign up for this book, was the titled. I was even more intrigued when I read the tag line and realized it was a romcom. I knew I needed to sign up for it, and I’m so glad I did! Rated-XXX was a super cute debut novel from!

I really enjoyed reading this book. Who doesnt want to read about a smokin hot porn star and a virgin who has to follow his every minute for a magazine she works for. What can go wrong. This is a funny book it had me chucking a canny few times at their exploits. I loved the banter between Bailey and Eli.. it was just easy and effortless between them. It started with a dick cake. Oh my!
That is a funny blurb, but will it live up to the hype? There were times I wanted to put it down. I kept reading and I'm glad I did. It got a little bogged down with Bailey's insecurity. I'm sure it would be hard to measure up to celebrities.
It is an interesting look at the behind the scenes of making a porn movie. Eli is rather blase about his job. He looks on it as just a job. I like that he is willing to give it up for Bailey. In the end it is their love tha

Binge Worthy.

What a breakout novel. Mya Oh did an AMAZING job and I can’t wait to read more from her!

I was laughing 60 seconds in and binged it in one sitting.
This book was hilarious, steamy, and so utterly quirky it’s perfect.

This is an opposite attracts rom-com and a standalone. Eli and Bailey are perfect for one another, and while Bailey navigates being a virgin whilst crushing on a porn star, their story is beautifully written. Because Eli is a porn star the hotness is off. the. charts.

This book was cute... Virgin and porn star falling in love was definitely a great idea for a book and i laughed a lot during this book which was refreshing. I just wish the Bailey was more mature. For being 24 years old, she seemed very childish at times and constantly asked him if he slept with everyone in the room (like, he does porn...over 3000 films, of course he has) lol. But all in all the book was great and i could look past those small issues for me personally. it is pretty fast paced bu ...more
Bailey is doing an article for a magazine involving porn star/want to be mainstream actor Elijah Mattox. Bailey is young, quirky but has a self confidence problem due to a fault finding mother. She's also a virgin. Elijah is a porn star but wants to get out of that life as he has outgrown it. Bailey is intriguing and unlike any woman he has dated in the past. The two end up dating and getting to know each other. The couple finds out they are not as different as they believe and their pasts are h ...more

Witty banter, humour and hot characters...what more can you ask for with a debut novel?!
The story is written really well and the writing style made it so easy for me to get wrapped up in the story and quickly hooked.

Bailey is a virgin with body insecurities, Eli is a hot pornstar. It sounds quite cliche but don’t let that put you off, this story hits you from a different angle and is honestly so fun to read.

If romcoms are you’re thing then you definitely won’t be disappointed with this story.

I love the angle of this story. It is refreshingly different and so much more than virgin meets pornstar. Brilliantly paced humour had me loving the main character, Bailey, and Elijah’s sensitive side made him so endearing. It really proved to be an addictive story line. There are many memorable moments that will have you laughing out loud, but lots of feels that will pull at your emotions.

A brilliant debut book and I look forward to reading more from Mya Oh.

not my cup of tea
The main character was super closed minded about sex, which i found so annoying!! She worked for a sex magazine and had zero interest in it. She then dates a porn star and judges him for everything he has done even tho he loves what he does. I felt zero chemistry between the two characters.

Loved it!!!

I didn’t know what to expect going into this but I am so glad I added it to my library. The book was refreshing!! I saw myself in Bailey. I love a book when the main character isn’t what’s expected. She seemed so real. Looking forward to more from this author.

Awesome debut

So many feels. So human. So perfectly imperfect. Definitely a must read ! It was funny, relatable, emotional, and I loved every second of it.

This was an refreshing surprise. It’s sweet story about a male porn star who falls in love. The surprise for me was that he is so sweet and the perfect boyfriend.

Mya Oh's debut novel is a New Adult Romantic Comedy that navigates the interesting scenario of dating a porn star, LOL. Not the scenario most of us everyday folks run into. But Rated-XXX captures that hilarious situation between Baliey and Elijah.

Bailey the journalist and Elijah the Adult film start take us on a journey of discovery, hope, and love.

The characters have this fun, goofy chemistry that makes them so enduring to the reader. Making us as readers crave their interaction and make us h
