I had my heart set on losing myself in a steamy novel by my favorite author and was determined nothing would stop me. Imagine my disappointment when my boss delays my plans and I arrive at the bookstore only to find they sold the last copy in town five minutes earlier! It was obvious that today wasn’t going to be my day - or was it?
Serendipity must have been listening to my internal meltdown because she presented me with an opportunity to get a signed copy of the book I was willing to commit murder to read. All I have to do is agree to the store owner’s offer - an offer too inviting to turn down.

Upon getting to the bookstore late and finding the last copy had sold, she meets the owner of the store, Grant. Grant knew upon watching Ruby that he wanted her in his life. The one thing she's afraid of has threatened their relationship. Can Grant fix it?

So funny
This book was hilarious. I had to stop and put it down because it was so funny. Both characters were real. I could hear their voices in my head. Grant is a male writing as a female. Ruby is one of his biggest fans. When she wanders into his book store looking for a copy of the latest book she does not realize that she is talking to both the book owner and the author. They both fall head over in love and lust. But Grant can’t tell her who he is and she realizes that he’s keeping something secret from her. She follows him to a Book convention and the secret is out. Great story great ending.

Quick read
Grant should have known that what you hide will eventually come to ligh at the most inopportune time. That is just what happened. Ruby already had trust issues from a previous relationship but she decided after four years, it was time for her to give love story again when she met Grant at his book store. when Ruby busted him, he had to do some major groveling to get her back. Afterall, she was the love of his life.
I've read the authors books before and I was a little disappointed in its delivery. It just felt rushed. I know this is a novella, but I just did not feel the chemistry between Grant and Ruby.

I have been waiying for this release for a while!! AND IT WAS SOOOOO WORTH THE WAIT!!!!! Grant knew he wanted Ruby the moment he saw her. And he wasted NO TIME going after her. Sexy, hot, and a secret best selling writer, Grant was a dream come true and for him Ruby was his dream woman. They both new from the first meeting that they had something special and drama and suspicions be damned, Ruby was going after her man and contract and job be damned Grant was going to claim his woman. I enjoyed this read and was left thirsting for so much more. This was a Great read from start to finish that I would highly recommend.

Loved it!
This was a great story, with a awesome stroyline. Loved the chemistry between Grant and Ruby. It was smoking hot with a little Kink! Loved how it was tied to the CM. Preadators. Which it was a little longer but hey what you got was great. It was very entertaining. I could not put it down it was so good.

Different
This was a different read. The characters didn’t act like I expected and that was refreshing. It was easy to anticipate the outcome, and the resolution was a little abrupt, but over this was a nice read. A good addition to the Lunchtime Chronicles.

Grant and Ruby are so cute together!
L. Loren always brings the sexy to the page. I love that Grant is focused on making Ruby his from the jump off! The fact that he’s a romance author makes him more lovable. Great addition to the Lunchtime Chronicles!

Ruby was hysterical! Kept me laughing the entire story! Grant surprised me. Mr. Librarian, had a little edge to him, and knew how to lay it down! Their connection, and energy was electric!

Loved Grant and Ruby’s story. Grant was a romance writer and Ruby was his biggest fan. This story was fun to read and hilarious. Loved her best friend (ride-or-die chick). I am still laughing at the first time Ruby and Grant made love. Great job, L. Loren.

I just love the way this book took off. Learning to love and trust a person can be the most difficult when you have been hurt and let down. Finding the one person to give you what you want and mean it is wonderful. This book kept my attention from the beginning to the end.

This was really good, but it ended abruptly. Needed to prolong it. This was funny and hit. Just the ending was really quick. I will read something else by this author.

Really enjoyable story😍
I really like the couple in this story the author and the reader. Grant and Ruby their story made me smile. Never judge a book by its cover. I like that Grant was full of surprises. I found myself actually laughing out loud. It was an absolute pleasure reading this book 😀.

I kept avoiding this read because plot I took chance was amazing. it seem to me within this story getting the D's equivalent saying love you in ruby case . I amuse by support characters as well Dee my favorite ain't like having down for whatever bestie.

I enjoyed this book Honey Dripper by L. Loren. It was definitely a page turner.I couldn't put the book down. Just imagine you read books by your favorite author thinking that it is a woman then it becomes a sexy British man? Grant and Ruby's love story was amazing. As the saying goes love conquers all. If you looking for a lunchtime read from a great author I highly recommend Honey Dripper because you would not disappointed. I mean it's Lunchtime chronicles!!why would you?
