"Did you have relations with my brother . . ."

Good question.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother.

My intentions were to show students how English and reading books co

This was such a fun enemies to lovers/workplace romance. I had a blast reading it and I really hope Quinn decides to write more from this group of characters!

Greer is a new teacher who gets hired at a prestigious public school as an English teacher. She couldn’t be more excited, but the head of the English department and fellow English teacher Arlo Turner, not so much. Arlo and Greer definitely start off on the wrong foot. They don’t get along and aren’t afraid to show it, and the

This witty Austen-esque romp by Meghan Quinn had me bewitched. Utterly bewitched.

Heroine : Greer Gibson wants to make a difference through her students and is excited about her first job as both an English teacher and a volleyball coach at the most prestigious public school in the country. She never imagined she’d have to deal with a man whose stuck-up attitude makes her hate him while his elusive charm and alpha tendencies provoke unbridled lust.

Hero : Arlo Turner, a.k.a. Mr. Tur

FIVE FUNNY STARS for Greer and Arlo ❤💖❤💖!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I thought I would never like Meghan's book that doesn't follow very well-known Meghan's baseball players, but I have to admit that I wrong.

Meghan proved that no matter what genre or trope she wrote, her humor, and sense of well-thought-out and interesting storyline is always present in her books.

"See Me After Class" is a romantic comedy book with brother's best friend and enemies to lovers tropes.

Greer and Arlo's relationship is everything!

Meghan Quinn delivers the belly laughs in her latest release, See Me After Class! This was such a FUN book to read. Not only does the story feature two brand new characters, but she also brings back fan favorites from her other series! I loved “seeing” some of my favorite ball players make an appearance in this one. I’m hoping some of them even get their own HEA’s! I think many readers will agree with me.

Let me tell you guys, See Me After Class is a top of a top of a top read right now. My review is ridiculous because it just says the book is JOY and go read it, but it is important people understand, sometimes, less is more. This is 2020. When I say something is JOY, you’d best believe it is all that and a bag of Lay’s Lig

A quick and funny read. The romance was a bit underdeveloped for my taste and some of the jokes gave me second hand embarrassment. The hero was too much of an asshole for me and it didn't seem like he had a legitimate reason for being one. The secondary characters were strong but some were very cringe.

As a teacher myself, I also had my reservations over the way they critiqued each other's teaching styles (view spoiler).

Overall Opinion: This felt like different books in one! Or at least different Hs!! The first part, which I found super slow and not all that engaging, was more about the H being a mega jerk and the h participating in some workplace pranks as revenge with some quirky side characters. The middle, was about the H being this dominant alpha male that did some rather kinky stuff to the h but wouldn’t let her participate/reciprocate. And then the last part was a super-fluffy-toothache-sweet-1

hi, my name is zaraa, and one thing to know about me is that i'm a sucker for bestfriend's brother/ brother's bestfriend trope even though it is rarely liked by the general public.

i think this was the first official book that i read by Meghan Quinn which I actually ended up enjoying and loving. i have to be honest, i have tried reading her books before, but i have always ended up putting them away because of the tacky covers. the covers for her books just don't do it for me, however the

See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn is such a good read!

I loved the storyline, it's well written, entertaining from start to end, each character adds their own special something to the story and I didn't want the story to end!

Arlo and Greer are likable, passionate characters that quickly captured my heart. Watching their relationship move from hate to love had me turning the pages late into the night as I couldn't stop reading.

They made me laugh, they made me swoon and they made me want

Oh....My.......See Me After Class was full of belly laughs (and a few snorts), classic Enemies-to-Lovers-to-Enemies-to-Lovers.....

Greer gave me so many giggles...because.....PRANKS!!! that's right, the pranks she pulled, along with her girlfriends and Arlo's (holy hot teacher), were pretty epic! See Me After Class was pure genius on Ms. Quinn's part; she certainly knows when I need a book to make me laugh, almost spew coffee and just swoon all at the same time!

"I want something sweet. Something naughty. Something that rocks my word and changes the colors around me. I want . . . love."

Meghan Quinn never fails to deliver stories that are funny, emotional, and filled to the brim with heat. Meet Me After Class is a completely unputdownable book that can be considered as a small spin of the classic Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, where Mr. Darcy is replaced by Mr. Turns Me On, and the action takes place on the high school grounds. Arlo and Greer’s

See Me After Class is the reason I LOVE Meghan Quinn!! This is easily one of my top reads this year. I loved this booked so hard, I could not put it down. Arlo and Greer are so hot together. Their banter and chemistry was so good. The side characters are hilarious and I can't wait to read their stories. If you love a rom-com with some angst mixed in then this book is for you. There’s a really strong dividing line in this book. There’s asshole Arlo and then the last third of the book which I enjoyed. I didn’t really like him in the first two-thirds of the book. He’s an utter jerk. But he looks good in cardigans.

Meghan Quinn has done it again. She’s written an unputdownable book, one which had me wanting to devour it as fast as possible, but also savour the slow burn relationship between Arlo and Greer.

Greer is the new English teacher, and has some less than conventional ways of teaching. Fresh out of college, she’s excited to put her different techniques to the test on her high school students, but Arlo Turner, head of department and resident moody arse has something to say about it. From the start, he

This book and I did not start off well together. It ended beautifully, and I did fall in love with both the heroine and the hero eventually, but I honestly could not predict that as the outcome when I started reading this.

Look, I loved Greer. 100% loved and adored Greer to bits. She was smart, she was quirky, she was a fun heroine. And towards the end when she realized that not all the blame in the major miscommunication was on Arlo, and she owned that, I loved it. It's rare that you see both p

See Me After Class is a new series by MQ, with mostly new characters although you will recognize a few baseball players from a previous series. The scene is set predominantly in Forest Heights High School which is close by Brentwood University - Chicago, and that’s about all that links these two series together. So if you’re worried you need to read anything before this one, don’t be, it’s a standalone and deserves praise on its own merit.

See Me After Class was such a fun and delightful enemies to lovers/workplace romance. It has everything I adore from Meghan Quinn. It was quintessential Meghan with plenty of laugh out loud moments, hilarious banter, mixed with hot, steamy and heartfelt moments.

The chemistry between Arlo and Greer was undeniable. I was hooked on the hate to love between them and it was incredibly entertaining. I loved watching the eventual feelings they developed for one another. I absolutely adored Greer! She w

Everything in this book felt so...forced. The hero was a jerk totally randomly (considering it was just a single interaction that caused him to do so). The heroine seemed like she was spunky and outspoken at first, but then randomly turned out to melt for him at every single interaction? Where did all her confidence from the interview go? It felt like I was seeing a completely different character's story unfold. Idk, their whole chemistry seemed so forced. And what was that stupid fight at the p ...more

Ill be honest. I went in to this book in a bad mood. Just kind of a book burnout. But my rom com readers, this book left me in the best mood. I mean grumpy teacher who does not want this new happy first year teacher coming in and changing the way things are done... how can one not leave happy. These two... loved them! And add some quirky characters and pranks, bring on all feel good vibes.

She broke up with him just because he was doing his job!!

She was so selfish and refused to acknowledge the criticisms about her teaching method

AND THEN the hero was the one who chased after her and apologised

What message does this send?? That if you are working together and married then you get preferential treatment even if you are bad at your job??!!

Seriously...where have the smart romances gone...I feel like I read 1 out of every 300 books that are true romances that you root for and the rest

Greer was hired as the new English teacher at Forest Heights high school. And she wasn’t making any friends. Arlo, head of the department, didn’t like her. Because she had and a different and unconventional way of teaching. And Greer didn’t like Arlo, because he was snobby arrogant and too stiff. But she was totally hot for him… lol

OMG THIS BOOK. I had to leave the bedroom because I was laughing so hard, my husband kicked me out since he was trying to sleep. LOL. I am huge fan of enemies to lovers and this story really confirms it. I love how the characters are new but some past characters are in it! The love scenes were totes hot tamales, character connection was awesome. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this book.

Once I started this story, I couldn’t stop! Lost a lot of sleep but totally worth it!!

This book felt so Meghan Quinn and so different all at the same time, is that possible? Straight laced Arlo with his black and white teaching style and bubbly, Jane Austen obsessed Greer with her light hearted attitude presented a major problem for Arlo. When I say these two started out as enemies, I am not kidding. IT WAS INTENSE. But you know how enemies to lovers usually changes over the course of the book, I honestly thought they weren't gonna happen. BUT what I can say is when t

This is probably my most favourite book of Meghans, ever.

Frenemies/workplace romance with a real hate to love feel that fuels some serious tensions.

Greer and Arlos book needs to come with a HUGE warning sign. DO NO READ IN PUBLIC it's not safe. Mr. Darcy is the preeminent romantic hero in the same class as your Edward Cullen, Mr. Rochester, and Noah Calhoun. Most romantic heroes pull from some aspect of these heroes (along with others), and that connection makes romance readers fall for these heroic types. To a certain degree, Meghan Quinn’s newest workplace romance, See Me After Class, borrows from this tradition, offering a story that steals your heart. Her hero, Arlo Turner, is a modern-day Darcy, a seemingl

Quinn has taken one of my least favorite tropes (teaching/admins) and flipped it around and reversed it. (Using my Missy Elliott voice.) It goes without saying, I will read anything this author delivers even if I am unsure of the trope. I know with every beat of my heart, that this author will make me fall in love with what I think of as, 'unlovable'. Not just any author can do this, heck most of them couldn't even come close; and this is why I continuously keep coming back to her work. She with ...more

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch.
