In Debra Shumaker’s engaging debut, a fun rhyming text accompanies a string of awesome facts and a handy dandy funk-o-meter beside every fish. Sophisticated enough for young ichthyophiles while still being accessible to the average kid, this book would make a great addition to any school or public library and has boundless potential as part of an elementary science curriculum. Definitely recommend.
