Um, I do not know where to begin with this review. I mean I love this series and damn it the twists in this series is insane!! So if you read the series so far you know that Ivy is a some what of a ghost then told she is an elemental?? Okay and now in this we learn more of what she is. Oh and her dad pops back in the picture. Let's just say that is a volcano waiting to erupt. What is the deal that is going on with Alex? Percy? Ivy is such a kind hearted person that you can't help but feel for her. For some reason, she ends up helping out a lot of friends who are in need of assistance. She ends up going through so much in a short amount of time. I really enjoyed this book cause we do get answers but still left with a few questions. The way it ended could go either way. We close one chapter of Ivy story or continue on her journey. So needless to say I was flustered with all that. Please tell me that there is more to come.

This series just keeps getting better and better! We finally get some kind of answers this time around about Ivy and her abilities, but they definitely weren't answers I was expecting. Things are much more complicated than previously assumed and now there are even more questions that need answered, some that will be difficult to find anyone who would even have a little bit of a clue on what is going on with Ivy. With her being a sorceress on top of her ghosty abilities, Ivy is an enigma, a puzzle that needs solving. I'm starting to wonder if she always had these types of ghost type powers, but her family never noticed when she was younger. And with the whole disappearing act her dad did on himself and her memories, she just plain forgot. Time will only tell! I love that this book introduced more powers and showed how Ivy, although powerful, is still just learning. She's a baby in the magic world. Her powers weren't immediate or strong, like her fire affinity was, and it was refreshing to see someone with powers that weren't amazing right as they came into them. Cluney did a great job with this book and is definitely keeping me on my toes with all of these surprises and plot twists. The little side quests/mysteries that need solved in each book always end up leading to more and help Ivy discover even more about herself and her abilities. I can't wait to see what happens next...and maybe Alex and Percy will both be around to help...if they can stop fighting. Here's to hoping!

Ivy is still working through her feelings regarding Alex draining her. Throw in Percy trying to reconnect, and her father showing up and life is a little crazy. I feel like her relationship with Alex, while still somewhat conflicted is growing stronger. I feel for Alex and really want to see them be able to keep moving forward. I still feel like Percy and her need some time to really get to know each other. I like that we find out what was going on with Maria, but poor Mr. Fluff! I really wanted her to do the familiar spell and got a little frustrated that it kept getting put off - so hopefully we see that next. I loved seeing her memories though - that was great! I’m not sure I’ve forgiven her dad, but I liked that he seemed committed to trying. I’m really hoping the next book is out soon!

Really enjoying the series

So....this book was awesome! We finally get to know exactly what Ivy is and that unravels so many other secrets. The book picks up exactly where the last book left us. This gets the explanations started and the truth about Ivy's past comes to light. Then her father gives us whammy about Ivy's dead status. There was so much there and it was nice to finally just know.

The Percy, Alex and Ivy triangle continues. Ivy wants to be with Alex but he needs to learn to let things go. However she still has a pull to Percy. Personally I like Alex - in everything he does he shows how much he loves Ivy, especially at the end of the book.

This was a good read and well written. If you haven't started this series you are missing out.

Is okay

Not as good as the first and second books, this one seems to be more of an interlude setting up for more books. The characters are already developed, even though new powers are being introduced, the world as a whole is added to, and missing friends make a reappearance. Like I said, this book is a simple story meant to set up the future books. Do you need to read it? Not really, it could all be described in a few paragraphs at the beginning of the next book. So read if you want, skip if you have other things to do.

A few home truths come to light for Ivy (FMC) in this book. Especially how her mother died and exactly who she is. Complications include a family member turning up and Percy surfacing again. I realize that this is a slow burn book and yeah im enjoying that but the greedy part of me is secretly hoping for a steam threesome?? We'll see!!!! Still this series just keeps getting better. Im just enjoying the ride. Its a totally fab read

I really enjoyed reading this! We finally got so many questions answered about what actually happened when Ivy died and answers about her parents. It was great seeing her steadily becoming her most authentic self, magically speaking. I'm also enjoying the slow build of the harem in this series. Percy and Alex do seem to be competing at the moment, but hopefully they see their common ground soon. I'm looking forward to seeing who else joins!

This is such an amazing book that I was unable to put it down until I finished the very last word. This book has everything that I like in a book. It moved along at a comfortable pace which makes for a relaxing read, has interesting characters that you will fall in love with and a story that will not let you down. This is a must read, no doubt about it.

Loving this series

Ivy's father is back and family secrets are revealed. Ivy's bestfriend is in trouble and Percy comes back. So much is going on and how will Ivy handle all this? Ivy will do everything to help everyone including herself. I absolutely love this series. So refreshing, fun and lots of excitement. I'm curious to how her relationship with Alex will continue.

Wow what a book! In this third book we finally get some answers that we've been wanting for Ivy for some time. I loved the pace of this book, it's steady yet takes nothing away from the characters or the plot. There's a complexity to the story that really gives this third book the justice it deserves. I couldn't put it down and loved the journey it too me on while reading!

Ghosttruth will give readers some truths about Ivy that have been hidden throughout the first two books. And with her father back, even more secrets are revealed. Not to mention Percy has returned, which always cause some tension between Ivy and Alex. This is a great addition to the Portland Ivy series!

This book starts right where we left off in Ghostrealm. More truths about Ivy come to the surface and she finally knows who she is. Someone else also comes back (hint: his name starts with a P). It seems like there is no time to rest for Ivy between finding the truth and dealing with her guys.

I just love the characters of Ivy and Alex and it is neat to see the development of Ivy with each book. Plus the concept for this book is truly original, so with all the action and the underlying story, you can't help but be enthralled with this book along with the others in the series.

Great story

Never disappointed with this series. The storytelling keeps getting better and more fun. Mystery and magic in this bizarre world keeps Ivy on her toes. We learn what happened to her body and Percy pops back in too. Is this a why choose? For Ivy’s sake I hope so!
