I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. It feels like forever since I started a book and finished it in one day. Once I began reading there was no stopping, I flew through this book and I was so consumed with everything about this story and the characters. Now, hours later I only wish I would’ve paced myself only to prolong the ending because I did not want this book to ever end.
After that shocking revelation at the end of The Bribe I needed the next book in this series asap! I desperately needed Everly and Hux’s ...more

2021 has barely begun, and I've already found a book to put on my top reads list. The Bluff is just my kind of read. My very own kryptonite. It's stories like this that I can't get enough of and that remind me daily of why I love reading so much...

I love this book! A fake relationship/marriage of convenience story that is passionate, intense, and absolutely sizzling with chemistry! I felt the connection between these two characters, and I loved their fun, dramatic and (mildly) angsty story.
This is the second book in the Calamity Montana series, and while you can read it as a standalone, there is some character crossover, and beware storyline spoilers for the first book in the series, The Bribe.

Bluffing has never been more sexy! A fake marriage romance that gave me so many feels. Calamity, Montana is one of my favorite small towns and once again it did not disappoint.
The first time Everly and Hux met it was at late night at the local watering hole. It was only supposed to be a one time thing. One night to take pleasure and forget everything else. However the chemistry was just too intense for only one time.

Devney is renowned for her heartbreakingly complex stories with a lot of heart, and then her alter ego-name, Willa Nash has gone a step further in juicing them up some more with smoking hot Alphas and charming, troubled Damsels in Distress. Together they fire up the pages and ensnare the readers in the passionate Inferno.

Every so often a book comes along that reminds you why you fell in love with reading. A book that makes your stomach drop, your heart ache or makes you believe in love. A book that makes you truly FEEL the story. This book did all those things AND made my heart swell. Hux and Everly seem as opposite as can be. They have two things in common, however, their physical attraction to one another and their soft spot for his daughter Savannah. How far would they go to protect the teen? Apparently they

I’m not sure I’ve ever wanted to hug two characters more than Everly and Hux! This was such a great story. I normally don’t like fake marriage stories but this one was most definitely worthy of 5 stars! Everything and everyone is not as they seem. And that’s the case for almost every single character in this book. Hux is a scowling, introverted artist. But is he really? Everly is a happy-go-lucky unemployed singer. But is she really? Guess you’ll have to read this amazing book and find out yours

i ended up reading this in one night (after midnight lol) & wowowowowowwww THIS BOOK YOU GUYS.
i really enjoyed the Bribe, but marriage of convenience??? a guy who’s sooooo grouchy ??!! single parent !!! omg. it has it all.
Hux would do anything for his daughter & it’s evident through how this story plays out, but it’s so cute to see how he’d also do anything for everly as well.

The disappointment is real with this one. I gushed about the first book in this series, The Bribe, and couldn’t wait for this book to release. A marriage of convenience and a single dad are my kryptonite. However, The Bluff didn’t live up to my expectations.

The Bluff is the second book in the Calamity Montana series and features the story of Everly and Reese. Like the previous book, the author managed to bring a sweet, romantic and anguish story here in the right measure.
Everly is a woman who after the traumatic event found refuge and housing in the small town, she is lost and does not know what she will do next. Reese is a man who for a mistake of the past had to see his daughter grow at a distance, and now he is capable of everything to ...more

Fake relationship at its finest.
Since I started this book I couldn't put it down. I devoured it voraciously, because if I wasn't reading it, I couldn't function. This book was addictive from the very beginning and it totally consumed me.
This is a standalone, but also part of the Calamity series, and I totally recommend reading the first book in it (The Bribe). First: We get to meet both Hux and Everly there. Second: It. Is. So. Good.

I love this world of Calamity, Montana! Hux & Everly were all things swoony, sexy and angsty. Their story is easy to read and addictive. W Nash knows just how to not only write an amazing romance story, but also tie in elements of suspense, wit and make you feel ALL the feels!

The Bluff is my favorite read of the year, I don't have words to describe the story, for me it was perfect. It has everything, funny moments, heartbreaking ones, sassy heroine, brooding hero, marriage of convenience and interesting plot. It captivated me and I stretched the reading how long I could in order to read more about Hux and Everly, but in the end I gave up and read it all.

This book makes me wish I could write a reallllllly good review! I devoured The Bluff and am already anticipating a reread. The Bluff is the second book in the Calamity Series by Willa Nash, aka: Devney Perry. We get the story of Artist Reese “Hux” Huxley and Everly Christian, two people who seem so opposite. They attempt to pull off the most important bluff of their lives with the highest stakes. They marry so Hux can gain custody of his teenage daughter, but there are reasons Everly keeps to h

„This marriage had begun as a lie. A ruse. A hoax.

There must be something in the water in Calamity, because its residends are simply irresistible! I craved Hux’s story the moment I met him in The Bribe and gahhh, it was so worth the wait! The Bluff is outstanding. This small-town, marriage-of-convenience romance is filled with the swooniest feels, a bit of angst and delicious sexual tension. I really enjoyed this one, much more than I enjoyed the first book of the series. I was very interested in finding out what all had gone down with Everly and Hux, after the very small glimpse we got at the end of book one.

Everly and Hux. *sigh* These two had such amazing chemistry. It sizzled on the pages. I loved that they were both hurting and broken in their own way. Their bluff was the perfect way for them to let down their walls and be open to something wonderful. I adored Hux’s grumpy nature, yet he was so sweet with his daughter. I hated what he had gone through with his ex-wife and going to prison. I wanted to punch her in the face. Everly was still living with the fear from the stalker incident. She was

I am a huge fan of grumpy heroes, and sometimes they don’t need a sunshine heroine, they need a witty smart mouthed female. Hux and Everly have such a fantastic banter through out this book and their chemistry is scorching hot.

I was excited about this pairing since we met them in The Bribe. Everly Christian followed her best friend, Lucy, from Nashville to Montana and inadvertently set off a tragic event. Months later she is dealing with the after-effects. She has lost her passion for singing, has no purpose, is anxious, and is just sitting around watching the world go by while she isolates herself. She was searching for calm and peace, but is now stuck in a rut.

We meet Everly in book 1 as she is the best friend to Lucy. We get a brief glance at Hux, and makes you wonder just what his story is. We also, met his daughter Savannah who makes up a huge part of this story. My heart broke over and over again for Hux and what he has been through. He made an impulsive and reckless decision that needed up taking his life down a road that he is having a hard time navigating away from even years later.
