3.5 rounded up! {Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review.}

Christmas at Fireside Cabins was my first book by Jenny Hale, and it did not disappoint. I actually went in with expectations of a fluffy holiday romance, and this was much more. Lila's past made my heart ache, and Theo's personal journey was such a test of their bond.

The location description was charming, and there was some great sassy banter that left a smile on my face. Once in

Fall in love with Fireside Cabins, Lila and her friends!

With a supportive network of girls around her Lila finds Christmas that more bearable without her family as the girls take a break each year. This year's choice is Fireside Cabins and the owner Eleanor, plus distant, grumpy Theo at the coffee shop are about to change Lila's world.

A festive romance about relationships in all it's forms with those closest to you - friends, family and romance.

Lila has a heart of gold wanting to help Eleanor re

I absolutely adored this book.
I loved the characters and their relationships.
It was a perfect book to be reading at the moment. It is cheerful and festive and romantic .

A lovely reminder of how the Christmas spirit really works.
I've been drinking peppermint latte since I first started reading!
I will definitely be reading more from this author, and plenty more Christmas books now too.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My first exposure to Jenny Hale’s writing was A Christmas to Remember (5 Stars), so I had high expectations for this book. Unfortunately it missed the mark a little for me.

Lila Evans is living in Nashville working at a dead-end job after her musician boyfriend dumped her. Having no family of her own due to the death of her parents, she has created one with three friends who live in her apartment building. She and her friends are about to embark on their annual holiday trip and this one may be th

Christmas at Fireside Cabins by Jenny Hale is an absolute delight. We follow Lila as she and her three best friends head to a cabin for a Christmas girls trip. However, the trip doesn’t go as planned as the cabin is run down. They decide to stay as the owner of Fireside Cabins, Eleanor, is so excited to have guests as the business hasn’t been doing well since her husband passed away. Lila also meets a mysterious and grumpy coffee shop owner, Theo, that she can’t help but be drawn to. She wants t ...more

Time to escape reality with a cozy fire, a nice cup of hot cocoa, and a book that's spoon worthy by Jenny Hale for the coming holiday season.
Lets face it -2020 - hasn't been easy so a nice, cozy, warm, and inviting read is just what the doctor ordered and I believe this will do the trick nicely.
With a whole host of characters from Pinewood hills as this romance may soon heat up.
Lila has recently lost her father and this Christmas will be essentially different from those that came prior.

CHRISTMAS AT FIRESIDE CABINS was such a fun and endearing read!
This story really had everything I love in a good Christmas story: hope and joy, found family, love, the perfect cozy atmosphere. This story is about taking risks and falling in love and finding yourself.
I loved Lila and Theo’s story, and I especially enjoyed the cabins owner, Eleanor. I wanted to give her a big hug the whole time!

Thank you Netgalley and publishing house for the ARC of this lovely book! This was just what I needed to read right now. Christmas, friendship, love, chasing your dreams and helping others all tied up in this cozy book. If this book doesn’t put you in the Christmas mood, I don’t know what will. Lila and her friends embark on their annual Christmas vacation only to find the cabin in disrepair. They decide to make the best of it because the owner Eleanor is a delightful older lady. Theo, who owns ...more

I love me some Jenny Hale and while this was not my favorite book of hers, it was still sweet with so much holiday cheer. I love stories with women’s friendships and I adore a grumpy hero with a soft side. This one has a bit of mystery and I just felt like it took too much away from the romance. If you are a Hallmark movie fan, then this one just might be for you - and for that matter, all of Jenny Hale’s books!

4 Star review of Christmas at Fireside Cabins by Jenny Hale
I love any story that is centred around my favourite holiday of the year, Christmas. I also love stories set in small towns, such as Pinewood Hills, so for me this was a win/win.Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together.
My heart broke for Lila Evans and the loneliness that she felt , missing her father. Determined to do something different, she arranges a getaway with her closest friends to Fireside Cabins in the Tennes

Oh, my heart. Sometimes you just NEED a feel-good, uplifting, heart-warming read. When you do, read this one. The writing is wonderful and had pangs running through my chest. There's so much great chemistry between all of the characters. You can't help but love them.

Lila Evans loves everything about Christmas and especially her annual Christmas holiday with her three friends Piper, Edie and Charlotte. Their festive holidays are the highlight of Lila’s year and this year she has booked a cabin in the snowy hills of Tennessee. It looks so idyllic there and the name of the resort already feels cosy and inviting. They are staying together in one of the Fireside Cabins in Pinewood Hills, and their hostess is widow Eleanor Finely. Lila has had a difficult year, a ...more

If I could, I would give this book a 3.5.

Pinewood Hills is a charming, little town where Lila and her friend group decide to spend a week of their holidays together. They have a yearly tradition to decorate the tree, watch Christmas movies, and this might be the last holiday they spend together as they all seem to be moving onto other things in life. However, it all takes a turn when Lila meets Theo, and her friends have to leave her at Fireside Cabins.

As expected, Lila falls in love, but ther

If you're looking for a festive sweet romance in which lonely people are looking for something to make them feel at home, find themselves in a cozy little town that smells of sugar and spices and snow, and everyone comes together with lots of Christmas cheer in the end, this could be your book. I love the cover.

Lila and her three friends rent a cabin for the holidays. Both her parents died so her friends are the closest thing she's got to a family, but she's afraid it's the last time they will
I have to tell you... I love Christmas books. I love everything about them. The warm and fuzzies, the happy but totally predictable ending, the fact that you always want to throw yourself into the pages, holiday family drama and all!!
I liked this book, but I am so sad to say I didn’t love it.🙈
Theo was probably my favorite part of this novel. Who doesn’t love a grumpy love interest who has a soft spot for children? He was real to me. Flaws and all.

Christmas at Fireside Cabins is another hit for author Jenny Hale! In addition to this story being centered around the holiday season, it is a book that has a bit of everything in it. It covers love and loss, the unbreakable bonds of friendship, and learning to take a chance and follow your dreams.

Lila Evans struggles during the holidays because it is a reminder of losing her dad. Being alone is difficult for her, and she is thankful for the friendship she has with Edie, Charlotte and Piper. Th

The queen of Christmas romance does it again. I love every book Jenny Hale has written and this one is no exception. This is a story of love, loss, friendships old and new, taking chances and following your dreams, while gathered around the Christmas tree.

I love Christmas stories that deal with love, family, friends and community. I also love Jenny Hale's writing, so I definitely enjoyed this one. When Lila Evans and her three friends decide to get in their girl's holiday getaway in early December, they head off to Pinewood Hills to stay at Fireside Cabins. Well, the cabins definitely presented better on the website, but they do not want to disappoint the owner, Eleanor, who was thrilled to see them when they checked in. This is my second novel by Jenny Hale. The attractive cover design of this one caught my eye and I thought the premise of the book sounded wonderful. Christmas at Fireside Cabins was a charming story and I especially liked the main character, lonely Lila Evans, to whom I could really relate. She was caring, determined and rather sweet and I loved the author's descriptions of the town and the various holiday events on offer in Pinewood Hills within the Tennessee hills.

Jenny Hale is an expert at detailing the sights and sounds of her stories. Christmas at Fireside Cabins is no exception. The way Hale writes, I can picture the beautiful Tennessee hills, the sparkle of the Christmas lights, and the wintry Christmas decor in the cabin. It’s a beautiful picture of the Christmas season. There are lots of fun Christmas treats in this book that made me crave sweet Christmas flavors. And at some point in my life, I need to visit a small town with a sweet shop on Main ...more

I received an ARC from the Publisher, Bookouture through NetGalley. This book was full of surprises. When Lila and her friends, Edie, Charlotte, and Piper decided to do a staycation, they booked a week at Fireside Cabins. Once they got there, it wasn't what they expected, but they decided to make the most of it.
They stopped at a coffee shop named Coffee where they meet Theo, who doesn't want to be sociable and is quite grumpy. Lila's friends were called back to work and Lila decided to stay the
