I had a hell of a hard time writing this review for ‘The Troubleshooter’, mainly because I’ve loved some of Anna Hackett’s books and series and jumped into Norcross (her latest ones) expecting to be thrilled and entertained like I was for the others.

Seriously, I wished I could have liked it a lot more, since Gia/Saxon’s story sounded like a fantastic one. But instead of the enemies-to-lovers kind of thing I was expecting, it turned out that Gia and Saxon had always sort of secretly wanted each

Well here we go again with another fast paced, intriguing look at the Norcross family and this time it's the solitary sister Gia who is in the bad guys cross hairs. Trying to help a friend gets Gia into seriously hot water but luckily her brothers best friend Saxon is more than ready to get between Gia and whoever is coming for her. Trouble is they have both been tip toeing around the insane chemistry they share and now Saxon is more than ready to step up and claim his curvy, fiery "Contessa" !

Gia and Saxon. Oh, yeah. She's sassy and strong and is very good at ignoring her attraction to her brother's HAWT best friend. He's focused and deadly and has to remind himself that some people are just off limits. Period. Done deal.

Then Gia gets dragged into something dangerous and suddenly all the excuses the two have been giving themselves don't seem worth it when they realize they could very easily lose their connection before it ever starts going. Cue the smoking hot flirting and lingering

Absolutely loved it!

Another fantastic book from Anna Hackett!! Do you like crazy non stop action and a forbidden hot romance? Then you need to buy this newest book in the Norcross series. Someone is out to get Gia Norcross and Saxon Buchanan is not going to let it happen.

Gia Norcross has a successful PR firm, a beautiful apartment, a loving family filled with overprotective brothers, and a great shoe collection. Unfortunately when her high school best friend drags her into trouble she ends up with her brother's best friend as her bodyguard. He pushes all her buttons and she doesn’t know if she wants to punch him or kiss him.

This was another fast pace romance from Hackett. Gia has been secretly crushing on her brother's best friend since she was a teenager but he

What a wild ride! Gia is awesome and fierce and I totally want to be her. Saxon is melt your socks hot. Their chemistry and history make a great story. Gia's rant at Saxon's parents is epic. The pink diamond is intriguing. Loved the tie-in to Team 52. I received an advanced copy of this book and freely leave this honest review.

This is the story I was expecting after the hints at the end of the first book in the Norcross series, The Investigator. And it was exactly the kind of terrific doozy of an action adventure romance that I expect from this author!

Gia Norcross has entirely too many brothers – or at least that’s how she sees it at least some of the time.

Not that she doesn’t love every single over-protective one of them. But they do have a testosterone-fueled tendency to try to

Holy Moly, Gia and Saxon should not be around any flammable material! Their chemistry is off the charts hot, even whilst they banter and bicker like Hepburn & Tracy.

Gia has a heart of gold wrapped up in her a-type personality. So much so an old friend has led danger right to her door. Gia wants to help her friend but to do so she might have to put up with Saxon being a lot closer than is comfortable.

Saxon has been a part of the Norcross family since he was a teenager. Their family always highlig

We’re back with Norcross!

We’re back with the Norcross family in San Francisco, where this book picks up seconds after the point where the last one (the Investigator) left off.
Gia Norcross, sister to the hero (Rhys) in the first book of the series, is in danger- because her troubled friend Willow brought her own problems to Gia’s door.
Saxon Buchanan is her brother Vander’s best friend, and Gia’s longtime crush. He and Gia have been antagonistic with each other for years, but now he has come to re

I truly love the Norcross family series and The Troubleshooter (Bk2) only cements the feeling. Kick ass funny heroines and strong, hunky, take charge men -the best of both sexes- get together to give the reader a fantastic read. A fun romp, both in the storyline and the pure lust between the characters! Gia, the only girl in the Norcross family, ranks almost right up there with her former military brothers in her survival skills. But every once in a while, even she needs help. In comes Saxon, he ...more

Gia and Saxon have been fighting their attraction to each other since before they were legal! Saxon is Gia’s big brother’s best friend. As such, they have a few hurdles to clear. Gia has a childhood friend who has brought her lots of trouble over the years. This time, the trouble could be deadly. Someone wants something that her friend has taken, and they aren’t above using Gia to get it back. Fortunately, Gia is pretty tough and she knows how to fight back, since her brothers taught he

The Troubleshooter is the second book in the Norcross series. In the last book, The Investigator, Anna Hackett gave a teaser when Gia causes a stir at the Gala for the museum when she was chased by an armed man across the terrace and into the garden with a pistol her Ruger in her hand whilst wearing an evening gown and stilettos. Saxon Buchanan works with Gia’s brothers and was in the Ghost Ops with Vander and Rhys Norcross as is known as the troubleshooter in the company. Saxon finds Gia in the ...more

Saxon Buchanan was Gia Norcross’ crush, but one that had infuriated her almost all her life. Little she knew that soon the bane of her life and object of her hot dreams, would join the Norcross to protect her. What a woman! Gia Norcross was full of surprises. This is why I love Anna Hackett books! Full disclosure I was a bit lukewarm on the first book in this series. This one is a home run! Gia is the only girl among the Norcross siblings but she more than holds her own against her former Special Forces brothers now turned security consultants and their teammate and friend Saxon. Gia is fierce, loyal, fearless and fun not to mention thanks to her brothers' training more than capable in a fight and with a gun in her Manolos no less. Gia and Saxon figh ...more

'Sometimes I want to strangle you too, but that just adds some spice'

Phew! Only Saxon could think that arguing with Gia was like foreplay!
We knew their book was going to be explosive, you can feel the heat between them singe the pages as you read them, but damn, it is hot, sexy, dangerous, sweet, passionate and fast paced leaving you emotionally drained but eager for more.
Saxon is probably one of the most dangerous men in the world, but watching Gia go toe to toe defending him, fighting for him

Gia and Saxon

This was a super-hot enemies to lovers Romance. Although I think most of the other characters looked at their constant bickering/fighting as fore playing.

His has three super alpha brothers, Saxon is the BFF of one of her brother. She’s known him since she was 14.

Willow, a friend of Gia’s, gets her involved with a small time wanna-be gangster when she steals a bag of gems. When bad guy can’t find Willow he goes after Gia. This is when Saxon’s true feelings surface and he claims her

I love Anna Hackett books and while this one wasn't my favorite, it still was a fun ride. This is Gia and Saxon's book. Gia's best friend gets her into trouble and Saxon has his hands full trying to keep her safe. I think the biggest issue I had was Gia's almost total blind devotion to her friend, who time after time after time got her in trouble. Gia was always in trouble and while she was pretty strong and smart, her troubles ended up being a little overextended, in my opinion. I loved Saxon- ...more

Action packed

I love the action in Anna Hackett books. This one starts off with and bang and doesn’t stop. Gia and Saxon have always jabbed at each other trying to hide their attraction. He works for her brother who is his best friend so there’s the bro code involved too. Gia is a spitfire and the opening scene proves that beyond all doubt. There are several times when she actual saves the day after being rescued by Saxon and/or her brothers. All of this is happening while Gia and Saxon are comin

This can be read as a standalone, but it is even more fun if you have read a certain other series by Ms. Hackett. This is a wild ride of humor, action, suspense, and steamy romance. The heroine may have three bad@$$ brothers, but they made sure she wasn’t helpless. She proves she’s got what it takes to make the hero realize he will risk the wrath of his best friend to finally claim his woman. I usually prefer sci-fi or paranormal elements in my romance reading, but when the writing is this good… ...more

3 drama filled stars. And Not In a good way. Firstly I love a alpha male, protective love story, this drew me to the book. I gave 3 stars as it was filled with way to much drama and back and forth kidnappings. It felt like it was just going around in circles with the same story. Attacker comes, they escape, boy gets made at girl, they get hot and steamy and she is told to stay safe and not go anywhere..... repeat. I was almost going to give up. I finished it. I understand it’s a book, it just fe ...more

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

Gia and Saxon have been dancing around each other, sniping at each other, getting under each other’s skin for years trying to avoid what is so obvious....a deep love that will never go away. The action certainly did not take a backseat, it rocketed forward from the very first sentence and exploded through the rest of the story.
This book is fast paced and kept me so engrossed I could not put it down until it was finished. Highly recommend!

Gia and Saxon

Anna Hackett books never disappoint. This news series, book 2, definitely is a must read. Gia Norcross has been drawn to Saxon since she was a child. Finally, their mutual attraction is acknowledged and acted on. Throw in suspense, some bad people including a jealous friend, the Norcross hotties and their associates, you have a great story. The only bad thing about this series, is waiting for the next book! 5☆'s for me.

The Troubleshooter, book two in the Norcross series, is the latest release from from Anna Hackett, is a fast, fun and steamy (very steamy!) read. I love the character of Gia, she's strong, intelligent and takes no flak from anyone. Saxon is hot, dominate and very protective. It makes for an explosive relationship that intertwines with the hunt for missing jewels and family drama. I had a great time reading this one and I think everyone else will. Enjoy!

Wow!!

Gia is a sassy, in charge business woman. She has a huge heart. Saxon is from a wealthy family that he does not really like. He works with Gia's brothers at Norcross Security. Gia owns Firelight PR. A friend gets Gia into a lot of dangerous trouble. Saxon is determined to protect her and make her his. They clash. They love. Loved the story, loved the action. Great book. Now I need the next one!!!
