ADHD Is My Super Power and It Comes with Great Super Strength

This story is meant to bring greater awareness about ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). My son Josiah was diagnosed with ADHD at the young age of 3. I see so many powerful things in him that ADHD only enhances for the better. I want children with ADHD to recognize the superpower they possess that can be used for things far greater than they ever imagined. ADHD does not have power over you, you have power over ADHD!

Ahh such a lovely book which teaches how to turn your weaknesses into strengths .
Sometimes parents and teachers notices some signs in kids of ADHD but it is normal for kids to be restless , over energetic or little impulsive so this book focuses on  how we can handle kids with ADHD and how we channelize their energy into the right direction so they can use it as their super power and it gives them some extra confidence .
This story is about a boy Jojo and he tells us how he uses his ADHD as superpowers like super strength of creativity ,super strength of responsibility ,super strength of compassion etc.
This book is really a wonderful book and children can relate to this book because this book talks about their powers and strength . This book teaches children so many things like kindness , fairness , compassion and how to be more focused and productive. Illustrations in this book are really amazing and gives us a feel like we are reading a superhero book .

This is such a wonderful idea for a book 👏 as a teacher, ADHD is almost always present in my daily life and resources like this are very rare. It’s about a kid who explains to the reader that ADHD is actually a superpower. He goes on to explain the many ways it super charges his life and at the same time offering the reader some insight into ADHD. A lot of students I see don’t have enough people around them who know how to handle them and it can often leave the children feeling upset or ashamed of their ADHD. Behaviour problems will often arrive shortly after that. I think it’s wonderful this book can offer some confidence and self worth to children with ADHD and also help their peers understand their needs more. Honestly, the world needs more books like this! Great illustrations, wonderful message and useful tool in the classroom... what more could you ask for 🤩

Thank you so much to the author for sending me a gifted copy to review!

This picture book is all about Jojo and how his ADHD gives him superpowers like being super focused and being super helpful and all about the ways his ADHD is a gift and not a hindrance.

This was a super cute, super simple way to let kids with ADHD know that it isn’t a bad thing and that they can still do all sorts of fun things. I also think this book would be useful to little kids who’s friends may have ADHD to help them know what that means, or maybe even useful in a classroom setting.

This is an incredible book that highlights the strengths of ADHD rather than labeling it as a hindrance. Children with ADHD need to be empowered in their strengths not put down. There's so much they can do with the amazing minds that they have and this book is a perfect depiction of that!

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is perceived as a social stigma and breaking this barrier is essential in today's world. Many children were undiagnosed and diagnosed ones are having a hard time adjusting to the school. This book not only presenting ADHD as a superpower but also raising awareness about the special needs of these children. You don't need to give any special care to them, you just have to be patient with them. They are capable of learning but through their own pace.

What makes this book special is this is not a book that sympathizes with this disorder. This is an ability rather than a disorder. Children with ADHD are gifted with many strengths that others don't possess ever. This book is a confidence booster for children. When a child is facing discrimination and bullying from school because of being different, this book could possibly give a much needed moral support. A touch, a small word, that is all needed to impart a positive mindset in a child. Amidst the negativity around ADHD, this book carefully spreads positivity. The illustrations are also beautiful. They give soul to the words. We need more books like this. So innocent and so beautiful!
