“I wasn’t acting outside of the role I was given. I was stepping into the role I was always meant for.”

This is such a thoughtful story about learning that even when you are part of a greater whole, you can and should question your place in society. Elissa has spent her life being told she has one purpose: that she is a Voice for Cae, the Goddess of her people.
