If you are trying to find more fulfilling career ideas based on your personality... there are better books than this. It has lots of big words and big explanations, but it actually didn't give me any Aha! moments or clarity. I recommend the Roadmap - "The get it together guide" or "Do what you are" by P. D. Tieger.

Lots of tidbits here to pay attention to. Cute little book, pretty quick read. Obviously lots to ponder while reading this to determine your job/career choices. Making changes are necessary & trying to figure them out isn't always easy though. Hopefully you will find something to connect to while reading this. Your life, your choice.

This book clarifies what your happy "purpose" is compared to your passions. It's a good book you can read in under an hour and makes you think.

Laura Garnett made good of the book’s intent to be read within a hour to get you in the ZONE and discover joy in your work.
You get challenged introspectively and retrospectively to find your purpose and impact in life. Yup, it can be metaphysically boring if you are clueless about the topic. Nonetheless, nuggets of wisdom and knowledge exist to complement and fulfil your arsenal to stay happy and succeed at work or even life.

Inane career advice that could be summarised in one article, and would not be very informative even in that case. To sum up: You're miserable because you're in a job where you grind through things you are not naturally suited for. Find a job you are naturally suited for by considering what you're good at and what you are passionate about. Common sense advice that's not worth the time to read in a longer form.

There were definitely some similarities between how she teaches people to find their purpose and how I do it, and I loved seeing those- truth is truth and the whole world should have access to it. Of course we do some things differently, but I’m so grateful for people who are putting purpose work out there. If we can just get everyone to live their unique purpose then we can change the world. ❤️

Couldn’t get past the horrible layout to this book. Very aesthetically unpleasing.
