Those who expect to find the relationship idea between built environment and society or shelter and dweller or habitat and inhabitant must read this book. The book gives framework thinking about how to construct our built environment by decoding people's mental structure as well as their culture. Therefore, the interaction between man and the environment is a communication. The framework brings back city planning to its root which balances human activity and natural preservation.
