Angela Grimalke appears more blonde bombshell than the gremlin she is. But there is no denying her supernatural truth after her clumsiness gets her fired from her modeling career. Forced to work for her family’s upscale airline, she spends her days slinging luggage and wishing her parents would get off her back about finding a nice gremlin guy to settle down with.

I was granted complimentary access to a copy of All Bags Go to Cleveland by C. S. Hale in exchange for an honest review through Goddess Fish Promotions as part of my participation in a blog tour for this title. Thank you to both C. S. Hale and Goddess Fish Promotions for this opportunity! This has not swayed my opinion. My thoughts are my own and my review is honest.

All Bags Go to Cleveland is the story of Angela Grimalke, a gremlin hiding in plain sight as a check-in clerk for Windsor Airlines

ALL BAGS GO TO CLEVELAND is by a new to me author, C.S. Hale. The book is a mix of paranormal and romantic comedy. It’s filled with gremlins and magic and how they live their lives among humans but is fast-paced and has a lot of romance in it even if it’s couched as friendship. This is Angela and Dave’s story. She’s the gremlin and has trouble containing her un

This reads like a rejected Sex and the City/Sabrina crossover pitch.

Angela is super duper rich and she used to be a model and she has amazing, successful friends (Charlotte and Miranda, oops, I mean Belle and Kate), a huge happy family, including her philandering brother, Samantha, I mean, Nikky, and she has magical powers. Readers are supposed to empathize with poor, sad Angela because all Angela really wants is to be a rich and successful model WITHOUT magical powers. Boo-f%+*

This is a cute, slow-burn romance with a bit of magic. Angela is a gremlin but doesn’t want to be one. She doesn’t want to make mischief in the world. Resisting her magic causes it to explode out unexpectedly, so she’s considered to be a klutz who has things go wrong around them. She befriends Dave, a businessman who has his own set of deep insecurities. Angela’s parents are determined to marry her off to another magical creature as they believe that’s the only path to happiness for her.

First I have to say that I love the title of this book. That's what first captured my attention, followed by the cover. And then when I read the blurb, I knew I had to read this book. Whoever thought of a paranormal romantic comedy with a gremlin as a lead character? I always think of the little dudes from Gringotts, or even Gizmo and company. Angela shows us that they can have a fun and playful, even though still mischievous, side. I was amused at the little games she would play with people and ...more

Angela Grimalki is a gremlin who doesn't like all the tricks that most gremlins do. A former model, she now works for her family's upscale airline where she meets Dave Ford. He's not at all upset that his bags went somewhere else on his last flight. Neither are interested in a relationship but they do enjoy spending time with each other and become good friends. Meanwhile, Angela's parents continue to bombard her with eligible gremlins leaving her torn between being who they expect her to be and ...more

I enjoyed this story quite a bit, was engrossed the whole way through, which is feat not all books that I've attempted to read have been able to do this year. While I really liked the book, it was not at all what I expected. I thought I was going to have a funny romp, instead I was crying multiple times and only having the very odd chuckle. The author did a very good job of showing that our heroine in general is much happier with our Hero, though the way she was shown in general was a sad by her ...more

Great story.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Angela is a siren and a gremlin. She is magical but her magic causes chaos, it's meant for things to go wrong, like pranks. She obviously doesn't enjoy ruining people's days and doesn't enjoy causing chaos or invading people's privacy by reading their minds. And she most definitely doesn't want people to like her because she's a siren. So she obviously doesn't fit, she's not embracing being a gremlin but she's not a human.

What's not to like a

While paranormal may not be one of my most read genres this book was quirky enough, laugh out loud enough, to keep me reading all the way through. To begin with this is just fun. It’s humorous, easy to read and even identifiable in some ways. By that I don’t mean you can identify with being a gremlin/human but rather some of the emotions and obstacles that get in our way when we are young.
I will say that Angela’s whining about having to accept her “lot on life” became a little old. Then again I

A cute, slow-burn magical romance, with a creature you don't really expect to find in a romance - a gremlin. I mean really, when you think magical romance you think witches, or fairies, or even mermaids. I liked this new twist on the magical romance take. Angela can be a bit of a hot mess at times, but that makes her endearing. Torn between what she wants, and what's expected, her story isn't that unique, but how she handles it is interesting. My only real complaint is I wish she'd told Dave soo ...more

Feeling really lucky to have been able to read this as an ebook copy free for a review.

Loved the relationship between Angela and Dave how they become friends then become more. I do just wish that it went into more details on about what Angela is as she’s not being human, it was always just in the background behind the romance.

On a whole was a nice little read with nothing to full on or heavy..... if you like romantic comedy’s this could be a good read for you.
