Don't trust anyone Don't get involved in other people's shit Don't get tangled up with a woman
The day I met her, I broke all three
I’m on the hunt for Conrado Villa. Positioning myself at the café his mother frequents, I’m hoping she’ll lead me right to him. Instead, I witness Bonnie, the beautiful café owner, walking in on a robbery. Unable to help myself, I sprint in to rescue her.
Learning this isn’t the first theft she’s endured, I realize there's far more to this story than meets the eye.
While tracking down Conrado is my top priority, Bonnie sways my attention with a tempting offer: I keep her safe and she’ll grant me an all access pass to that luscious body of hers. Can I honor my obligations while keeping the dazzling beauty safe? Or will she be a distraction I pay for with my life?

Sahara Roberts caught the writing bug early in life. She enjoys writing Dark Romance and Romantic Suspense. Her days are filled with international trade issues (the legal kind) and her evenings writing steamy romance.
She is currently working on expanding the Billionaire Heirs series.
Sahara lives in South Texas with her beloved husband and their three furry overlords. She enjoys cooking, baking, and cake decorating, but she would certainly prefer to have someone else do the dishes.
I wasn't too sure about this series when I first started it. Frankly because of the way the first one ended. I was curious enough to want to know that I decided to read Saving Bonnie. I'm so grateful that I did. I really enjoyed it. The characters are relatable and very likeable. I was so captured by Tino in the first book but fell in love with him in the 2nd book. Sahara really did a great job. Now I'm eagerly awaiting Montoya's story!!!!
This is the second book in the series and it can be read as a stand-alone. Tino is hanging out at Bonnie’s café in hopes of a lead when he rescues Bonnie during a robbery. Bonnie offers herself to Tino if she can keep her safe. Can he keep them both safe a complete his responsibilities? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of twists and turns and an entertaining story. I liked it.
This was a great book! I loved Tino and Bonnie's story. Bonnie seems to be very passive and doesn't stand up for herself much. Tino is the opposite. He rushes in to save her during a robbery and their relationship hits the ground running. This is a fast-paced, drama-filled, action-packed book with some pretty hot romance that keeps you turning the pages.

Tino is on shakeout at Bunny's diner waiting for Conrado's mom when two idiots decide to break and enter. Unfortunately the owner is arriving back earlier than intended and Tino gets a bad feeling and leaves his post to help her.
Bonnie, Bunny to everyone, returns to the diner early from the beauty salon only to find she's in the middle of a burglary. This is not how she wants to die. One of the robbers sees something over her shoulder that scares him. She falls aside and gunshots go off. She checks herself think she was hit and was happy to see she was uninjured. Then she looks to see what had scared the robber and see the Terminator. Wow, he was tall.
After a crew comes in to dispose of bodies and clean up the mess Tino tells Bonnie that she needs help, protection and security. He pulls out a condom and tells her needs an all access pass and he'll take care of it all. Bonnie decides to take his dare, but on her terms.
I love Bonnie who has had people take advantage of her, but she manages to stand up to Tino. Tino is smoking hot with a lethal edge. Although this book can be a standalone novel you really need to read STEALING IRIS first to get the full background story. All of the characters are amazing and the suspense keeps you to the end. Highly recommend this book and series and am looking forward to the last book.

This is book two in The Blood Ties Series and it is Bonnie and Tino's story. Bonnie has a diner that is very popular but one night after coming back from seeing her mother she walks into the diner and there are two robbers and one is pointing a gun at her and ten everything starts at once, first she thinks that she is going to die and then she starts to shake and everything goes fuzzy and it is a tall man that saves her. Tino has a job to do so he makes a deal with Bonnie but things get really mixed up as time goes on and lines are crossed but what sort of effect will it have on them. There are twists and turns along the way and that is what makes this a really great story. I love the characters and storyline as it pulled you in right from the first page and you have to keep reading to see what would happen next. Sahara Roberts is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will not be disappointed.

Bonnie Bustos' life is her restaurant. Waking up at dawn to prep the items needed for the day at the restaurant and going to bed tired at night is pretty much her existence. 16 hours daily she works hard. Yet, she has a heart of gold, too good of a heart that people take advantage. Tino's reality has been brutal since he was little shaping a brutal man. Tino shoots into Bonnie's life, taking her on a roller coaster of emotions and having her question her life. The story was engaging. I did struggle with the lack of transitions or transitional phrases. One second Tino is walking, the next he's turning on a car. Too many times I struggled to reorient myself because of this. This is the second book in the Blood Ties series that began with Stealing Iris. You you like dark mafia romances you'll enjoy this book. It was well written, full of twists, danger and action. Oh, did I mention passion and chemistry. Fate brings Bonnie and Tino together when he witnesses a robbery at her business and rushes in to save her. Their chemistry is explosive and she causes Tino to break all his rules. To get the back story on some of the characters like Conrado you need to read Stealing Iris first. Although that book was good, this one is much more intense. A great read with great characters. I received an advance review copy for free, from Book Sirens and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Bonnie Bustos ran the dinner that been in her family, everything made from scratch. Tino and Dante are looking for Conrado and his mother Olga.
Tino is across the street in the church on look out. Sunday night two men are breaking into the dinner. Bonnie comes home early and she walks in on them. Tino shows up and tells her to stay down. Both are taken out and Tino has a clean up crew come in.
Tino doesn't like that she has no security, she tells him no money. He said he will do it and she will probably have to bend over anytime he wants it.
Something happens and Bonnie tells Tino he scares her, so he leaves and tells Conrad to watch her. Bonnie disappear will they find here and will Tino sees what in front of him?
Tino lives by 3 rules and hes aboutbto break the most important when he comes across Bonnie. Tinos on the look out for Conrado, and thinking his mother is a way to get to him he takes out the bakery she frequents, only to be drawn in by the owner Bonnie. When Bonnie interrupts another robbery at her shop Tino intervenes and decides to protect her in exchange for her.Bonnie just wants to run her business but trouble seems to find her. Will Tino be able to find Conrado and protect Bonnie aswell? A well written mafia romance with action suspense desires lust and more!

I totally enjoyed this book. It was about Tino and Bonnie. Bonnie was a very passive, shy woman who owned a shop that got broken into. Tino saved her and then Bonnie offered herself to Tino if he ensured her protection. This story was exciting and had adventure and a whole lot of steam. The story line was great and kept me interested throughout the whole book. It was definitely steamy, which was my favorite part. This was the second book in this series but the first one that I have read. I will definitely have to check out the others in the story now along with the authors other stories. I received a review copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
I liked Tino and Bunny’s intensely passionate relationship. Bonnie/Bunny’s sweet trusting nature was a perfect foil for Tino’s fiercely dark personality. He was drawn to Bunny as soon as he saw her and fell for her all the while denying his feelings. His obsession and focus on her was romantic and super steamy. Kudos to the author in creating this page turning romance with lots of drama filled entertainment.

Great short easy read, I love mafia romance I would say this book isn't heavy dark mafia romance but I still loved it hence the 5 star. Loved Tino, the development between him and Bonnie is great. He brings out a side to her that she doesnt know she has. I definitely enjoy this book from than the first book in the series, even through I really liked the first book. I just felt more connected to this book. Great to see other characters from stealing Iris.
Bonnie's character is strong and independent. She owns, works and manages her own mexican cafe type restaurant. She is the first one in making her homemade tortillas daily and last one out at night after she has cleaned everything to her satisfaction. So why does Bonnie need saving? Because she finds herself in the middle of a mafia drug deal and falling for the "security guy" responsible for catching those involved.

Saving Bonnie was a good read. I enjoyed it much more than the first one. Tino and Bonnie have a quick and spicy love that will have you locked in from the very first chapter. The entire book is full of both spice and suspense. Tino's job is also clear in this book, so the "business" aspect of this book is easier to understand. I am still very unsure what Dante and the characters as a whole do though. Some parts of the story are also confusing but you can generally follow what is going on. I would again not consider this a Mafia book. It was an overall good read though.
Bonnie and Tino had instant chemistry. I liked Bonnie and was invested in her dilemma about whether or not she would be able to keep her restaurant. The story has enough intrigue to keep me interested and wanting answers for all the questions left unanswered. I'm really enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book though I'm a little sad to be moving on from this couple. I was instantly rooting for these two crazy kids.

Saving Bonnie, Book 2 in the Blood Ties Series, ends in a cliffhanger.
The story concludes in Seducing Mattie, Book 3 in the series, due out after the Christmas holidays.
You're going to love Tino, almost as much as Bonnie does.
Book is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2020.

Well, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book because I completely read this series out of order and I wasn’t sure how this was going to piece in between Stealing Iris and Seducing Mattie.
Tino was a character that I hadn’t quite fallen for yet, but he was amazing in this book. I always love when a hero can’t quite figure out he has feelings for the heroine and then has a mild freak out when he realizes it.
I was given the opportunity to read this book for my honest review.
This book was pretty good, but the first book was better. I was really hoping there would be more about Dante and Iris in this because the first book felt a little incomplete. I did enjoy the story of Bonnie and Tino. It was spicy, but not as spicy as I was hoping. I was happy to finally find out what happened to Iris’ dad and get that closure.

Wow this book was so good. At first I was disappointed because it jumped right into Tino story. But I'm so glad it did I understand why the author did this. And why she crafted the story this way. And I'm so happy that I stuck with this series. So far I am absolutely loving these characters, and I can't wait for book 3.
Seriously I thought I couldn't love this more than I loved the first installment of the series but this author has proved me wrong. I couldn't put this book down. I love Tino's obsession with Bunny! Fantastic read. I can't wait for more from this author.

This was the second story in a series, and I liked it a LOT more than the first book, which was unusual. I would also add you don't need to read the first book to enjoy this one. The only gripe would be that they "broke up" due to a stupid misunderstanding. Thankfully they got their HEA.

I really loved this bunch of characters. To fully understand this book read Stealing Iris first.
Bonnie and Tino are amazing characters with great chemistry. Tino meets Bonnie while she is at work and the rest is history. Although there are some bumps along the way in the form of assumptions and misunderstandings.
I liked this story way more than the first book. Bonnie and Tino were great together. This story was fast-paced and action paced with lots of drama and steamy scenes. There is even some closure from book one. Can't wait for Montoya story.

This book 2 answers all the questions. Tino and Bonnie make a deal after an attempted break in at her restaurant. Tino has been trying to catch Olga to track down Conrado. This story moves along and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The hot chemistry between these two is very very well written.
