Fights, sex, and fast cars. Those are what Sebastian Wilcox is all about.

On the outside he’s easy smiles and a quick temper, but on the inside, a war rages on. He told the Devils his biggest secret; during a vicious fight, he accidentally hurt someone who didn't deserve it. For months now, he's been cursed by the memory of her screams. But that’s not his only hidden truth.

Book three in the Boys of Preston Prep series and still just as angsty as ever. Sebastian and Sugar were a definite surprise, I didn't expect to love them like I did, but I absolutely enjoyed this book. I think one of the things I love most about this series is that the books are thicccc, but at the same time they fly. There's so much going on, and there's so much actual substance, that you get immersed and never even come up for air.

I liked Bass when we had met him previously, he was a hot mes

Read the blurb; now you know the set up. To truly understand Bass you have to read the earlier books in the series, in those you will hear exactly what his brother is capable of and how that behaviour ripples out (even though Bass lists this out near the end of the book), and you will understand Bass' emotional state.

Sugar is a completely new character, her character got a vague mention in book two, but this book is all about her. She is trying to escape past events and is focused on her future,

I loved book 1. Book 2 I skipped because I am not a fan of the best-friend-of-brother trope.

Book 3 has an enemies to lovers tag, so yes, please.
But no, I stopped reading at about 30%. There is a misunderstanding here - opposite of the real trope, where the boy and the girl hate another, here the girl hates the boy. The boy has a toxic complex, where he digs that. Sure, whatever. They have maybe some chemistry, but nothing I dig. The characters take time to grow. By 30% we are at pg 200 and not

5 Devil Stars! Wow, what an intense read that was... but so worth it!

Sugar is not your average hearts and flowers kind of girl. She's trying to escape her dark past and has to fight a lot of inner demons. She's a tough girl and the last thing she needs is anyone from her past coming in and messing with her. The minute she walks into Preston Prep a ghost from her past shows up. Sebastian AKA Devil is the ghost, these two have a past and it's a dark one. Sebastian is just try

Preston Prep is home to The Devils - and boy do they live up to the title.

I have loved this book! I just couldn’t put it down. I thought that A Deal with the Devil (2) was my favourite until I got more of Bass, Sorry Reyn. If you like enemies to lovers type books then you’ll love this.
This book touches on mental health, abuse, anger issues and violence. And it’s my favourite so far.

Preston Prep is home of the devils but when Sugar is accepted on a scholarship she doesn’t know a devil from her

Each book in the series gets better and better. Hamilton and Reynolds were great but Sebastian is better. We did see Sebastian in previous stories and we saw some of what it was like to be Heston's brother but in this book we find out the whole story. This book has a lot of triggers as it deals with manipulation, abuse both physical and emotional. Heston uses both manipulation and emotional abuse to get Bass to do what he wants not caring if it will hurt Bass or not. When Bass meets Sugar for th ...more

Touched By The Devil is a story filled with all kinds of angst, and at times it was almost too much to be honest. See, I'm one of those readers who can read more than one book in a day, probably because when I'm drawn in & kept in the story, I can totally stay in one place until it's over. That's the one issue I have with this story, the fact that the drama tended to get too much so it was easier to put down, however, not for too long. Sebastian is our tortured soul hero who has some demons whic ...more

This is the 3rd book in this series and is Sebastian and Sugar’s journey. Sugar is desperate to get out of her small town and away from her family, and when a last-minute scholarship arrives, she cannot get out of town fast enough for a new life and a fresh slate. Sugar is haunted by her demons and cannot stand to be touched, and when she crosses Sebastian from her past, it is understandable why she reacted the way she did. Sebastian is haunted by their first meeting and is desperate to make ame ...more

Another date with The Devils is just what I needed

This series. This series just keeps getting better and better. The book boyfriends keep getting better and better (you’re still #1, Reyn!)! Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue make a great team and the traumance from them is amazing.

I couldn’t wait for Sebastian’s story.

Hamilton was the worst. Reynolds broke my heart. But Sebastian about blew my heart to smithereens! Bass intrigued me in Reynolds and Vandy's book as he was a fighter. Being Heston's brother is difficult for Sebastian, but I didn't realize how bad until I read his story. Sugar Voss hates to be touched and she has good reason to not to want to be touched. Bass and Sugar are broken and the heartache is so real it spills off the pages. But slowly, like trying to tame the feral cats at Preston, Bass ...more

So, I actually didn’t know this was part of a series until I looked through some reviews. It didn’t really matter to me though, as I couldn’t get past 24% anyway.

Sebastian was kinda funny, a bit sarcastic. Too soft for me personally.

Sugar (I don’t want to offend anyone, but it’s a ridiculous name!) just annoyed the absolute hell out of me! Right from the start she’s waving a blade around like no ones business and no one says anything? Then there’s Sebastian, who is scared to get in trouble for c

Warning... Major trigger warning for people. I really enjoyed this book. Although its part of a series, and it can help to read the previous books...its no a necessity.

This book has suspense, angst, heartbreak, tragedy, perseverance, betrayal, redemption, love and everything in between. One might think its a typical falling for someone "across the tracks" read, but that's under selling what was created here. Watching the characters turn into phoenix from the flames is a beautiful thing. The read

Amazing! Sebastian Wilcox is everything.

Book 3 in the Boys of Preston Prep Series did not disappoint. I loved Sebastian in the other books and was excited to read his story. I really enjoyed their slow burn sweet romance. Sebastian is an endearing MC who persistence and energy really tugged at the heart strings. Sugar story breaks my heart and Sebastian is exactly the guy she needs. Heston just peeves me off, he’s the worst and makes Sebastian life hell. The book is full of angst and is an inten

Worth the wait

Well written, angst ridden; previous as well as new characters come to life. Mental health issues and physical violence are treated intelligently in a detailed manner whilst still creating interest. I enjoyed the book.
