As a widowed father trying to build a family empire while juggling dirty diapers and bed times, Brody Pace has full hands. And an empty bed.
Losing his high school sweetheart after the birth of their twins left him broken, battered, and lonely. But business doesn’t wait, and neither do toddlers. With Red Cedar Ranch expanding into new territory, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to be a full-time dad and a full-time foreman. Finding a nanny is a necessary evil. One Brody’s much more inclined toward once he sets eyes on the dark-haired beauty his mother hired to wrangle his headstrong daughters.
Clara is everything he thought he would never find again. She’s calm, caring, and compassionate. The sight of her with his daughters stokes something deep inside him. Something Brody thought was gone forever. *** Clara moved to Moss Creek, Montana on her last tank of gas, a whim and a prayer.
A contentious divorce left her and her sweet eight-year-old son with nowhere to go. No one to depend on. When she comes across the chance to work as a nanny on Red Cedar Ranch it sounds like a dream come true. A beautiful place to live. Income. Security. And a cowboy with eyes blue as ocean water and a drawl that makes her knees weak. But letting Brody close means putting the new life she just started on the line. It’s a risk that could lead to complete devastation. Or the happiness she never thought would be hers. ________________________________________________ Cowboy Seeking Nanny is the sexy single-dad start to the brand new Cowboy Classifieds series, set in Moss Creek, Montana. All the books are stand-alones, but you might see some familiar faces along the way. Angst Level-Low Heat Level-High HEA-Guaranteed
This was super cute but beyond that it was mediocre. The writing and plot were lacking, the only saving grace was the adorable kids and how devoted the MC was to making sure the FMC was happy and secure. Despite the mediocrity, I think the series has potential and am interested to see if it improves 🤞.
[1 star] book felt really boring to me. the connection between the hero and heroine is as flat as an airplane runway. additionally, the "darlin" endearment is pretty much here, there, everywhere and it was annoying as shit. lastly, there isn't much about the characters history for me to understand them better.

This was a cute and easy read that I really enjoyed. I’ll be honest there wasn’t much depth to the story but I didn’t really mind as I really loved the characters in this. Brody was such a swoon worthy gentleman, I never thought darlin or miss would hit the spot for me but it did. I loved how they were both single parents. The only thing missing for me was i was craving more tension and build up. If you’re looking for a hot cowboy daddy then this is a must read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶 Nanny X single dad Single mum Cowboy Small town
Love me a singe dad, cowboy romance but this was very poorly written. I was constantly trying to figure out who was talking, whose thoughts were whose. Felt very amateur.
Cute story but ending was also 0/5 haha I couldn’t believe it was done.
I am a huge Janice Whiteaker fan and when I heard that she was planning on writing a Cowboys series I was ecstatic as Western Romance is a favorite genre of mine!
This book is funny, emotional, heart-warming and steamy!
Even though he has loved and lost, Brody does not shut himself off to the possibility of loving someone again. When Clara comes on the scene, it's not too long after that he realizes that she is the one for him and even with all her hang-ups, he remains patient yet proactive in his pursuit of her heart. I also loved that he loved on and included her son Wyatt from the very beginning of the story!
What I loved most about this story though was seeing Clara transform from a jaded single mother to a confident woman who realizes that she has friends and family who support her and a man who loves her.
If you don't like angst and cliffhangers, this is the series for you!
I've never liked a cowboy romance before, but I enjoyed this one.
I love rom-coms, romance novels, and love stories. So I read a lot of them. This is great fun for me, but it means that my personal "market" is oversaturated. It will take a truly great romance to get more than three stars. In case you are interested:
Relyn's personal rom-com & romance novel rating system 5 stars - This book is excellent. It stands out from the hundreds of other love stories I've read, and I loved it. 4 stars - Oh, I really, really liked this one. 3 stars - This was a good, entertaining book and I'm glad I read it. 2 stars - Meh - boring, or overdone, or in some other way just not a good fit for me 1 star - This one stunk.
The story was good, likable characters , strong women support each other, funny but also sensible and with head over shoulders no -nonsense brothers. This book is about Clara finding her footing after a horrible life with her soon to be ex-husband, finding strength and courage and who she is in her new life path. Finds work in a ranch with a sweet strong family compose by a a strong and loyal and honest mom, dad and 4 brothers who work in their ranch. The oldest brother has twins in need of a nanny. Little by little and very slowly the whole family gains Clara’s trust and open her eyes to a good future. Eventually Clara falls in love with the single dad and finds happiness. This book is narrated in 3 rd person (which is not my favorite method of reading) but at least it has lots of dialogue between the characters, has its funny moments and some life lessons. It was very slow for my liking but because of the plot I give it 4/5. It took me many months to finish it because again 3rd person narrative is not my style and it was so slow burn that o read maybe a chapter every other week.
Cute, fun, and a quick, easy read with low angst. He falls first, yet they never actually say 'I love you' which I thought was odd. You can see it, and she fights it, but it's never actually spoken. And after a LOT of convincing, Brody ends up sneaking an engagement ring on Clara while she's sleeping. Womp womp. 🫤 With everything that happened, a more formal proposal and a declaration of love is what Clara not only needed but deserved. Also, I wish we could have seen Brody's conversation with Wyatt, asking permission to marry his mom. Wyatt's welfare was paramount in this story so it seemed glaring that this important moment didn't get a scene in the story.

3.5 Stars This was so sweet! Single parent is my kryptonite, so this was extra enticing having both mc’s single parents. Brody is the dreamiest cowboy daddy so full of love to give. He shows Clara & her son Wyatt what it means to be taken care of & loved unconditionally. Clara has being living life all on her own, never feeling wanted, especially by her dick of a soon-to-be ex-husband. Moving to Montana to become a nanny was the best thing she’s every done. She found the life she deserved w/ her new found family! The kids are all precious. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this!
I absolutely love all Janice Whiteaker's books and this is a new genre that I was so excited to read. Brody needs to find a nanny as he's a widowed father taking care of twins and expanding his family ranch, not enough hours in his day! Clara arrives to takes 0n the role of nanny because of a divorce that has left her and her son Wyatt homeless. They are both very fragile after having to deal with the emotional trauma of the divorce. As soon as Brody and Clare meet there is an attraction, which she tries to fight with all her heart. These characters will make you laugh and cry with lots of misunderstandings along the way, leading to a HEA. This is a fabulous read and a book I would definitely recommend. It's a heartwarming story that leaves you feeling cosy and warm. Thank you Janice for your 1st Cowboy Romance
Clara and Brody was absolutely breathtaking. I absolutely love this from beginning to end. The litters always added extra warmth to the story. I can’t wait to continue this series. 🤍
Oh this was soo good. This is a new author to me and the premise caught my attention. I just came off a dark binge and thought cowboys and kids, perfect. Let me tell you, Brody and Clara did not disappoint. The characters, the banter, the laughs and just goodness radiates out of the pages. The kids are a hoot, the brother's.. I cannot wait for the next book. A great read.
This was terrific! A woman gets a job as a nanny for two precocious twin three year old girls,so she and her son take off for a ranch which houses the girls’ grandparents, their Dad and some uncles. She has next to nothing with her after leaving her no good husband, who has done a number on her emotionally. She soon finds, as she and her son are welcomed with open arms, that she really likes it there. This is a feel good book that makes you hope for a happy ending, and you’ll just have to read it to find out.It also proves that women are stronger than they think they are.Hope you like it,I sure did!
This book reminds me of a modern mills & boon proper cowboy romance. I loved Brody, and can I just say what an awesome name for the leading man! Really well written book with a great storyline which totally left me wanting more and more and more. Very much looking forward to the next instalment. This will be an brilliant series to get into and a definite must read, so go read it!
OMG! Passionflix needs to make this into a movie! Seriously! The story, the characters, absolutely everything about this book is amazing! I need every characters story NOW!
