I have read every one of Mary Elizabeth’s books and what I love most about them is they’re not your typical romance read. They all have something special and different about them, plus her writing is in a league of its own. I was so excited to read Tramp and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed this one so much and I’m looking forward to reading more from this world.

Ahhhh! Okay I know it's been a hot minute since I've dropped a review, but. But. BUT. This will be short and snippy with ZERO spoilers. Basically just read it. Also, I'm a little drunk right now.

This one.

Lydia Montgomery may be one of my favorite heroines. She's strong, stubborn, fierce, and did I say strong? I mean STRONG.

Talent is. Well. I didn't expect for him to make such a strong impression on me, but he did. I was about 55% in when I realized he had me, hook, line, and sinker.

Overall Opinion: Dang. I really wanted to like this! I’m in the minority again. This just didn’t work for me. I never connected with either character, I didn’t feel their connection to each other (the closest I got was the bar scene), I didn’t like the h and that’s all we get for POV, and I was frustrated with the ending. I thought the H was too accepting of the h’s profession. I’m not saying I wanted him to be a raging in jealousy kind of guy, but I thought some kind of reaction other

My first read by this author, and I was impressed from the first page. A gritty journey of a high end call girl that will have your heart breaking for a girl stripped bare.

Lydia Montgomery, aka Cara Smith is deemed as the best prostitute money can buy. Not many could imagine the depths of hell she's been through to call this lifestyle, secure. And it certainly comes at a high

New Mary Elizabeth fan girl right here. 👏🏻 Next year, I'm coming for her backlist while also counting down the days until Harlot is released. I mean, any author who can make me root for a high end escort and a filthy rich lawyer deserves all the praise, right?

The life of a prostitute. Tramp is Lydia Montgomery story of how she came to be just that. It’s a heartbreaking story but also a story of hope.
The first sixteen years of Lydia’s life had a defining impact on which direction to go and also why she’s the woman she is today. Mary Elizabeth depicts and explores those events with a poignantly precision which only made Lydia’s character and story arc much more compelling. I was invested in her and cheered her on.

It's always fun being able to jump back into an old favorite. I have read many of Mary Elizabeth's books but she hasn't released in over two years, but if this is her comeback book, then watch out!! I will say, given the content of this book and the subject, it may turn off a few readers. If you are one of those readers, please understand that this book is more about the love between two people that is forbidden and very

A gripping tale about the harshness of life and the will to survive by any means necessary. The heroine will live the only life she thought she could, until she meets the man that changes everything. He didn't save her, she saved herself with a little help.

The only life she ever knew. Raised by a junkie whore until the drugs finally stole her, she was more like her mother than she ever wanted to be. What's left to do at sixteen when you are all alone and have no where to go? She sold herself for

This is my first read by Mary Elizabeth and I can say with certainty that it will not be my last. Tramp was an addictive dive into the harsh world of Lydia and what she's going through. With every page I was drawn deeper into the story, watching her life unfold before me.

The suspense and angst had me hanging onto every word, and when I reached the end, wanted more. This is the first book in the Hush series, and I'm already looking forward to the next book.

This is a pretty smooth read. I read it quite fast. I was totally intrigued by Lydia a.k.a Cara and I was rooting for her.
I also liked Talent. He was nice and sexy and he also felt honest to me. Genuine.

Cara and Talent first encounter was soo good. Loved it. I got super excited to keep reading so that I can get more of this chemistry.... sadly I didn't get another taste of that.

This was a compelling, addictive, inspiring yet heartbreaking story from the perspective of an escort and her tragic past which shapes the woman she is now.

Lydia is an escort and a product of her upbringing. She meets Talent, a high-powered attorney who hails from an influential family. The two couldn’t be more polar opposite. You would never know the secrets and dysfunction simmering under their perfected crafted facades. Is Lydia going to settle down? Will Talent’s truths lead to the beginning or the end of his relationship with Lydia.

This book is absolutely incredible and criminally underrated. The unique premise, engaging subplots, and complex characters made this an immensely enjoyable read that kept me on my toes. I already know I'll be recommending this one a lot.

I absolutely loved this world and these characters. It is unlike anything I’ve read in the romance world, and, as it follows high end escorts, it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

However, I loved Lydia. Seeing her evolve as a result of her love with Talent, seeing who she became as a result of her trauma, and seeing her be confident in who she was made her incredibly likable for me as a heroine.

Talent is an all consuming force. I fell for his charm just like Lydia. I

I wanted to like this book so much but it just wasn’t it. The first chapters are really good and got me hooked on the story but once I reached the 50% mark it got boring and the author dragged the story a lot. Then the ending was so rushed that when I finished it I was like: that’s it? All of that for just to end in 5 pages?. So yeah, didn’t liked it and won’t be reading the next 2 books of this series 😭

I loved this book oh so much.

Talent Ridge. This man was addicting from start to finish. I am head over heels in love with him. Lydia is a fierce character that I grew to love more and more.

To sum it up, Lydia works for a “lavish” escort service. She’s the best for a reason. She had a troubling childhood which left her with nothing and no one. Without giving to much away she meets successful lawyer Talent Ridge. He and his family own the top lawyer company in the city. There first meeting is wh

Tramp is the start of Mary's next series and she does not hold back. This book was more than I anticipated and that made me love it even more

Lydia is a high-end escort; a tramp in Grand Haven. But she's got her one set of rules and she refuses to budge from her routine.

Talent is one of Grand Haven's most eligible bachelors and one of many prominent men.

Lydia is sent to entertain Talent, something that is outside her usual schedule. However, what makes things even more interesting is that Talent

In this story we follow Lydia Montgomery and her endeavors as Grand Havens highest paid escort.
She’s cold (potentially one of the coldest I’ve ever read), detached, cunning, assertive and overall, just not someone I’d never want to mess with. She has rules she never breaks and a schedule she never changes. Up until meeting Talent nothing seemed to phase her but even then, she remained stand offish.
Her backstory is heartbreaking but I think that’s what really got me to really root for her. Seei

Tramp was my first Mary Elizabeth novel and it did not disappoint! The blurb sounded so amazing for the Hush series that I knew I needed to take a chance on it and I’m so glad that I did.

Lydia Montgomery is everything I love about a strong heroine. And that’s what she was, her own hero. Lydia was born to less than ideal circumstances, the daughter or a stripper/prostitute, never having a stable home or environment around her. When she eventually meets Ines, she finds a sort of mother figure, if

To say I loved this book would be an understatement. Mary Elizabeth’s words are like reading a love song, lyrical and poignant.

Tramp takes you into the life of an escort named Lydia. She’s had a very rough life and because of this, her outlook is bleak and dark. Until she meets Talent.

Only they can’t be together, she’s a prostitute and he’s hugely successful and powerful. Lydia is the kind of girl men in Talent’s circle keep as a dirty little secret, not parade around on their arm.

Lydia (aka Cara) was such an amazing, complex and human character. I really loved to read all about her story and fears and finally see her development and strength. For me it was really easy to connect with her and I just loved her since the first moment.

- In the first installment of this new series we meet Lydia Montgomery, a woman who was born from a prostitute/drug addicted mother that died when Lydia was only 16 leaving her to fend for herself. Later, when she's 18, she recieves help from a woman who runs a escort/spa compay, and then, knowing no other life, Lydia follows her mother's steps and becomes a escort, in a lightly better deal than her late mother.

Honestly, I'm a sucker for a damaged heroine. Forget the hero. Give me a heroine who's destructive, unhinged, flawed and mad at the world and then give me a guy that will chase her to the ends of the earth.

Lydia has got to be one of my favourite heroines of all time. As soon as I was a page in, I knew I was in love with her. Her intolerance for bullshit, no-nonsense attitude and fuck everyone (not literally but only literally for money) was EVERYTHING. She was strong. She was brave. She was a b
