I’m the latest it girl in Hollywood. Stalkers come with the territory.
But this one is…different.
This one is braver—and unpredictable.
My sister is married to a security expert. One phone call and I could have one of the world’s best-trained bodyguards watching over me twenty-four seven.
But if I do, my parents will find out, and my dad will stress.
What if he gets sick again because he’s worried about me?
No! I refuse to let that happen.
Which leaves me with just one choice.
I’ll have to call the only other person I can trust.
Terri Anne Browning is a USA TODAY bestselling author. Being dyslexic, she never thought a career in writing would be possible, yet she has been on bestselling lists multiple times since 2013. Reese: A Safe Haven Novella was her first Indie published book. The Rocker Who Holds Me changed the tables and kicked off The Rocker... series featuring the sinfully delicious members of Demon's Wings. The Rocker... Series is now complete with 12 books and the occasional novella. Other books by Terri Anne include the Angel's Halo MC Series, as well as The Lucy & Harris Novella Series, The Vitucci Mafiosos Series, and The Tainted Knights Rocker Series.
Terri Anne lives in Virginia with her husband, their three demons---err, children--and a hyper Frenchie named Grunt.
Needing Arella was the sixth book in the Rockers Legacy series by Terri Anne Browning. It was the spinoff series from her original Rockers series.
Arella Stevenson was the daughter of Drake and Lana Stevenson (book three, original Rockers series) and sister to Nevaeh (book two, Needing Nevaeh). The storyline began with her eighteenth birthday and her much anticipated “feelings reveal” so she could live happily ever after with her childhood crush. But things didn’t go as planned and she moved on.
Jordan Moretti was the best friend to Mia Armstrong (book one, Holding Mia). He was several years older than Arella but noticed her when she was sixteen. He fell in love then but she was too young so he kept his distance and was biding his time until the moment was right.
Arella was a successful actress that began as a child. As such she had a following but unfortunately she now had a stalker. She didn’t want to worry her parents, so she turned to Jordan. Browning then took us through their relationship development while simultaneously navigating around a stalker.
Ultimately it was a quick read. I enjoyed the characters but wanted a little more from them. I struggled to feel the connection. Additionally, once the stalker was revealed, I needed more from that scenario as well. It was still an enjoyable read but I just needed more depth and substance. I’m not sure where Browning will take us next but there are still so many next generation kids to explore, I can’t wait to see where she leads us now.
Oh man this pains me to do because this author used to write so many good books. But it’s so full of toxic cliches that it was just so bad. The wanting to get her pregnant, by both the h and H ,after two days of dating was the icing on the cake. All the wrong reasons and timing for making a kid, who actually has to deal with the consequences. It’s so unsexy.
And what are the other heroines from the previous books. Just incubators? They could almost remake that show counting on.
Can we stop with the unprotected s*x without being in a stable relationship, surprise a baby, what a surprise in every book. It’s so overdone and unsexy. Taking responsibility and caring if your bringing a child into this world when your stable and making a well thought out decision when your ready is way sexier (not the I want to own her so I’ll just knock her up) Not just because bare feels better or ‘you keep forgetting because of the magic unicorn hooha’. This just screams red flag to me. Oh don’t forget when they do use protection it keeps breaking. Multiple times! Any sane person would check the box after the first time, maybe the second. But the third? But nooo, he wants to own her with a baby, and she wants to have that connection to him when he inevitably leaves again. Who wants that for their future child.
This author keeps throwing cliche after cliche in her books. From the gushing, drenched, soacked hooha’s, to the no I have standards but still sleeping with the guy before the standards are met. And soooo many cliche sentences.
I feel like every book from her becomes less and less original. I’ve loved every book from her, but the last few I just couldn’t get in to. Its such an unoriginal uninspired story. Almost boring and so predictable.
What I liked: It’s always great to read about other characters from previous book. I also liked how Arella didn’t just wait around for Jordan, it’s refreshing to see a heroine go out and get her some sexy time instead of waiting for the Hero.
What I didn’t like: I don’t get why Jordan couldn’t explain why he couldn’t be there for her party. I’m also confused why he didn’t call her. It slip his mind and all of a sudden a month went by (smh). He got her a necklace that he got engraved with how their hearts are one but he doesn’t call. I just don’t get it.
How hot was it: 3 out 5
Triggers: h’s uncle is a creep who sends her some nasty stuff and later on tries to kidnap her.
Final thoughts: This was just an ok read for me. I’m thinking this was just a me thing and not the book. I will definitely read the next book.

Finally, we are back in business. Yes, he made a mistake but not only did he man up when he realized it (like all the others in recent books have done), she was also willing to risk it all for love (unlike the others in recent books). I loved that it was solely focused on Arella & Jordan. Yes, we got to see some of our favorite characters but they didn't overpower and take away from A&J. I would say this was a good save of the series. Now with so many grandbabies in the mix, I'm wondering if we'll get a legacy out of the legacy! 😆
Hello. My name is Mary and I’m addicted to the Rockers series. Seriously though how can you not be. Arella did not disappoint. We got the angsty, heart wrenching, dangerous twist we all want and need.
Arella is the second daughter to rock legend Drake Stevenson and his beautiful wife Lana. In this big family it is very hard to stick out but Arella does it well. Not only has she grown up with famous rockstars as her dad and uncles but Hell the girl is a star in Hollywood herself. People know who she is and want to live her life. When Arella starts getting suspicious fan mail from someone showing a little obsession for her she brushes it off like nothing. She’s famous and beautiful. This isn’t the first time she’s gotten this attention. However when things get worse and worse she starts to notice that maybe this obsessed fan has turned into a crazy stalker real quick. Growing up rich is something Jordan is very familiar with. When he becomes the right age to join the family business he does just that and he does it well. Taking care of the spoiled social lights is easy for him. Just a small price to pay to land some accounts. Only issue is this business is in Italy and his family, BFF and love of his life are all in California. O also the love of his life doesn’t know he loves her AND... he’s too pussy to say anything to her so he escapes to Italy any chance he gets.
Mixed signals is a huge understatement when it comes to Arella and Jordan. The man is a no show at her 18th birthday but has his parents give her his gift? Really. All Arella has ever wanted was for her best friend to see her as more than a friend. As she turns 18 she thinks this is their chance until Jordan is a no show. Also social media posts show the billionaire running around Italy with other women and lipstick all over him. Ooooo HELL NO!!!! Arella has given up on her dream man and decides being friends is better than nothing. When Jordan finally realizes he fucked up and comes crawling back it’s just too late. Plus it’s safe to say the stalker would prefer Arella all to himself.
What a damn whirlwind. Terri had me up down and all the fuck around. Jordan’s a dick. Arella needs to face facts. And Drake proves once again why he will always be the best character. That man is literally a damn dream. I’ve marked more quotes from Drake than I have any other character. Anyway... safe to say I loved this book and Terri did a great job like always. Arella is out now. Got get your copy and DM so we can discuss 😁
Honestly, I'm not sure. Again some things, that I don't like in books, may overshadowed the story for me. I really tired of the same dance. H fucks up, h says that shes moving on, but the next thing, you see she's panting after H again. I'm so frustrated with it, that I don't care even, if h choose to wait for him forever, even thought that's annoys me too, but just make up your mind. You're moving on or not. Don't be damn yoyo. Here it wasn't that long. If you can call half the book, not long, but scenes themself about it was few. Of course, Arella wasn't waiting on Jordan after her 18 bday incident. But then again, when I complain about H getting some and h saving herself for H, I don't mean that she would have meh sex. What's wrong giving h sex with bells and whistles, that's with not H? Jordan was a dumbass. He loved Arella, probably as long as she him, but he continuously did something out of fear, that messed up his chances. He had a talk with Gabs and I'm happy, that she give him straight. But from his thoughts, like "I wasn’t about to discuss pointless shit with her.", it made clear, that he didn't get it. The job, his father gave him and makes him to appear on those tabloids... Pointless? Will he thought, the same if it was reverse and Arella appeared on those tabloids the same way? I don't think so. It took him a while, but I have to say, when Jordan pulled his head of his ass, his possessiveness of Arella... I liked, that. There was nothing more important, then Arella. He treated her, like his queen.
I always love a good Terri book. They are written exceptionally well and so sexy, hot and exactly what I need as Scotland looks toward winter, with the freezing nights. This book definitely didn't let me down. Once again, I loved it and really enjoyed diving in to the stalker/romance that this threw at us!
The characters are unique, vibrant and really exciting. They definitely all blend together to create a very enticing story, that I found very hard to put down. I like that they were unique and had their own personalities, making them relatable and real. I loved the main character.
The pace flows well, to really fit the story that we have laid out, in the blurb. There are exciting surprises and twists, that make it fun, as well as a great, natural flow to the storyline, making it feel very real.
The detail throughout makes it very easy to become part of the story and really just enjoy. I love that.
3.5 stars... Just okay... It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Honestly, it had everything I wanted.... Alpha H, good h, no cheating. I just did not feel connected to the characters. HERO: he is really good. Except the part of h's18th birthday and being OCCASIONAL dumbass. He loves h. HEROINE: she is strong. She knows what she wants and does not compromise. SIDE CHARACTERS: ahhh here I'm dissappointed. 1. I am done with everyone being all about MIA. It is annoying me now. This is 3rd book, I guess, where the main lead is close to Mia AGAIN. 2. I did not understand Jordan's parents. Like his Mom never pays attention to h yet towards the end she is all about how she hoped they end up together... Huh?? (can she say that again while NOT FAWNING over MIA). The dad?? I think he is an ass (you will realize while reading the book) PLOT: Its good. I did not guess that end. I mean the hints were there but I was just too annoyed with the M issue to see that. OVERALL: Its a safe read. I love this series so I'll continue reading it. But (TO THE AUTHOR) please stop with :- 1. MIA 2. Lucas and VIOLET scenes.... It's not bad. I just feel its getting repetitive and more than once I want to skimp through it. I understand the timeline being same and all but I'm not feeling it anymore.
Jesus, this was infuriating! What in the HOLY HELL has happened to this author!? I used to love her work, but this series so far has been just one douchebag after another, treating one doormat after another like she really only matters as long as nothing MORE IMPORTANT is going on in his life. The main characters are all so weak-willed, that they wait for their lives to be in shambles before they finally grow a backbone!
Jordan blows off Arella's eighteenth birthday party and -without even telling her- leaves the country for seven freakin' months (returning only when she loses someone she loves) and expects her to still be devoted to him? And he's somehow confused about why she's so cold to him!
That's when he decides (after someone had to spell out to him what a fuckin' moron he's been) that now it's time to stake his claim and she apparently has no choice but to let herself be claimed, now that HE'S finally ready.
And, what an incredibly stupid reason it is that he's been breaking her heart for nearly a year! I couldn't stomach the thought of Arella falling for Jordan's bullshit again. This isn't a romance or a love story. This is a cautionary tale! One for all young women to be careful about who they give their heart. Some men are just too careless to be trusted with something so valuable!
First things first; I love the cover of this book! Needing Arella is the sixth book in the ‘’rockers legacy’’ series. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Arella is a famous actress and the daughter of a rocker. For years she has had a crush on Jordan Morretti. When Arella gets a stalker will she ask anyone for help? Will Jordan get his girl? The chemistry between Arella and Jordan is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple. I have to admit, towards the end I had figured out who Arella’s stalker was. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
OMG I am so impressed with this book! After reading Violet and Shaw's stories I was a little skeptical to pick up another one of Terri Anne's books. I am not going to lie and say that her last two books were great. However, this book was exactly what I needed to restore my faith in Terri Anne's books again. The story is well laid out and showed a side of Jordan that I never expected to see. Arella was the perfect heroine and Jordan was her perfect match. Terri Anne's writing style is amazing as always and she was definitely able to capture Arella and Jordan's emotions on paper like her other stories of Mila, Monroe, Nevaeh, and Mia. I cant recommend this book enough. Believe it or not, I read it in one sitting! It was that good.
When I first met Jordan in Mia’s book, I had to admit I didn’t like him much but he redeemed himself in this one fortunately once he pulled his head out of his a$$😂
This story was riveting in how Terri told it but also super scary😬 Arella is an actress and starts receiving packages from an “admirer” which are quite explicit. Not wanting to stress out her parents, she decides to deal with it on her own - until Jordan returns from Italy and she realises someone was closer than she ever expected😳 Jordan and Arella begin to rebuild their relationship from that point😍
A must read story and series and should be added if you haven’t already tried any of Terri’s books❤️
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. The immense pull towards each other that the two main characters exhibited was awe inspiring. I loved the complexity of the story line that clearly told this one romantic tale but lovingly wove in some bits and pieces of the stories of the other immedicate family members as well as other extended family members. I found this novel to be an easy read because the story and characters were so captivating that I felt compelled to just sit and read this story in one go through to completion. Now that I completed this read I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs wondering what to do now that I just blew through this read. Laundry, dishes, perhaps? Me thinks not. It is off to me next read instead. Good Stuffs!!

It’s Terri. This is a Terri Anne browning book. Typically, you hate the male lead, he acts douche and then he redeems himself. Girl is insecure, but gets over it rather quick. I didn’t hate this book, but I didn’t love it as much as her older books. The OG books/couples I mean.
Creepy factor was there, but I think Terri just need to write about new people. I’m getting tired of everyone being famous and rich - like it’s easy and their way of live, but I’m like where the challenge? The struggle. It feels empty in that way. But it’s good lol read it
Same story, different book: Dude is secretly pinning for girl while deeply in love with her, but treats her terribly to hide his feelings (usually because she's a literal child when he meets her??>). Some dangerous event takes place. Dude declares love for girl. She doesn’t believe him because of his assholery, but then admits that she loves him too and they live happily ever after.
Is this series pretty terrible? Yep. Do I keep reading them as a mind-numbing escape from bar review? Also yes.
I will say I liked this book much better then the other "next gen" books. The others books were too much repetitive about the prior books. Thank God this book had very little and it actually told their story. I really like Arella & Jordan together. I just wish he would have had to grovel a little more! It seemed like she forgave him too fast. All in all though this was one of the better next gen books and I look forward to the next one.
Another great read from Terri Anne 😍 I was hooked from the start and could not put it down, it captured their emotions through the book. Jordan did disappoint me a little putting his father before the love of Arella as she needs him more then ever right now with a stalker that's unpredictable 😪 I love how Terri Anne bring other characters from the series into her books as it keeps you update on what's going on in their lives. Roll on the next chapter in the series ❤
This book had me hook before I finish half of the first page . I was not able to put this book done . I was on the edge of my seat by the end of chapter one. I was biting my nails before the end of chapter 3 . Because I was so hooked on this book .
Everyone please take stalkers seriously! When I was young I had a stalker that put fear like no other in every aspect of my life but my parents treated it like a crush until he shot and killed my brother's best friend. I'm not saying he killed him because of me but it certainly proved that he was dangerous.
These books just keep getting better. Jordan and his dirty mouth will make you swoon. The twist in this book was very unexpected and made me think back for some clues. I am loving this generation more than their parents!!
Felt the characters lacked depth and although storyline ok the interaction between the Jordan's and Arielle was too gooey! Not one of my favours by this author whose books until this one have been great!
I geeked so hard over this book!! I had been so excited about Jordan and Arella since Nevaeh’s book. It was amazing and I loved the plot line and how Jordan and Arella got together and got their happily ever after!! Another great one from Terri Anne Browning!!
I always love getting a catch up with the rockers and the cross over sections of other books is fab. Jared is still needing a slap upside the head when it comes to love and the advise he gives his son but it all worked out in the end.
This hasn’t been one of my favorite series from this author, don’t get me wrong I enjoy pretty much anything TAB writes. But once again I just couldn’t get swept away with this couple.
Thank you Terri Anne I just loved this addition to the Rocker Legacy. Arella and Jordan were excellent characters. Can't wait for what's to come from this series.
Arella is a lot like Lana when it comes to her fierce personality. Jordan got lost in his job for his dad and things got complicated for their friendship. Arella's stalker is weird and twisted. Their story is great and I devoured it quickly.
Jordan and Arella are the love story that'll make your heartbreak, but it'll be the stalker that's the fixer even if he didn't want that. I was shocked to find out who the stalker was. Can't wait for the next book in this series.
Can I just say how much I absolutely love this series… I love how close the families are and how they are so supportive of each other. You can see they’re not perfect but have big hearts. Can’t wait for more, hurry please
