Kira is in town to persuade Jason to allow her family's company access rights through his property so theirs can be developed. But there is some dark history she isn't fully aware of, and Jason basically not only tells her no, but when pigs fly.

Enjoyed their slowly building connection and appreciated that the villain (so to speak) wasn't of the comically mustache-twirling category...

I didn’t think the blurb for this book really let the reader know this would be such a really fast paced, action filled romance.

Kira Jennings is one of three half -siblings in the “mighty” Jennings family. She and her older brother, Bryce, are in competition for promotion. Their younger half-sister, Leila, is happy to be working in the computer department and she is Kira’s friend and ally.

Yikes, this book just went a little too fast. And it could have been really exciting and interesting. Characters were decent, but not spectacular too.

Kira Jennings needs to make a business deal, especially if she wants to make it in the family business. Her brother Bryce, is her main competitor, and there's no love lost between the two. An ex-con earning a meagre living off the land comes into conflict with the woman whose brother has repeatedly ruined him. How fraught! Yet well-done in typical Watt style.
