Hannah Mary McKinnon’s You Will Remember Me is yet another unputdownable read from an author who gets better with each book. What begins with a case of amnesia twists with each new discovery as McKinnon slowly and methodically unravels the layers of secrets and deceit. A gripping, chilling thriller that held me captive until the shocking end.

Hannah Mary McKinnon is a genius. I could not turn the pages fast enough, but I did not want to miss a single word. This is diabolical, mesmerizing, riveting and irresistible. The bar is very high here—because her incredible SISTER DEAR left left me gasping for breath. But here she takes storytelling to a new level – – psychological, sinister, and completely believable.
This is skill, this is joy, this is the passion of an experienced and careful author. Standing ovation.

This is wild, engaging, fast pacing, riveting, disturbing ride!

It seems like 3.5 starred reading: I have to gather my honest opinions to decide between 3 and 4 stars!

Pros:
The book started fast with an intriguing but not so original man from suffering amnesia who has dark past, hiding secrets about himself plot line!

After the impressive opening, the progression of the story was quite moving, action packed.
Lily waits for her boyfriend bring breakfast from their favorite pancake place. When he

Hannah Mary McKinnon is a master at building a slow-burn, tantalizing plot that makes readers tear through the pages. In YOU WILL REMEMBER ME, McKinnon turns the amnesia trope on its head with gorgeous writing and three captivating characters whose lives deviously and dangerously intertwine. Her signature jaw-dropping climax will leave you breathless. An absolute must-read! I received an ARC.

Forget the truth. Remember the lies. Or try this on for size.
Never forget. Never forgive!
This is so mind blowing as it was superbly crafted, extremely well written, and beyond all human comprehension.
Many of you know I'm a victim of a malignant narcissist who put me through every form of abuse including financial, emotional, psychological, physical, verbal, sexual, and religious. Yet, this book was like a trigger magnet in which those same emotions flood back with these mental mind games, manipu

Let me start by saying I love a Hannah Mary McKinnon book. She’s a great writer, and I never have to DNF her books because she’s just that good. This was a good book, it just wasn’t one of my favorites. I found it to be really predictable, which never works well for me. I don’t want to know who the bad guy is from the beginning. Not in a book anyway. It was painfully obvious who the evil culprit was once this particular character entered the scene. The ending felt rushed, and I would’ve loved re ...more

WoW! What an ending! I'm left gasping, and I'm in the lucky position of being able to text the author to yell at her about my excitement.

McKinnon does it again! When a man wakes up with no memory after being attacked, he intuits his way to his hometown. But as he relearns his own story, he gradually realizes there's a reason he left...and a reason he forged a new identity and didn't look back. Family secrets, small town intrigue, and a decades-missing childhood sweetheart, YOU WILL REMEMBER ME

YOU WILL REMEMBER ME is a dark, delicious thriller where nothing —and no one —is as it seems. From the moment an amnesiac awakens on a dark beach, Hannah Mary McKinnon keeps the reader in her thrall, using each chilling twist to propel the story in an evermore sinister direction. As the tension gradually builds, so does the reader’s sense of dread, right up until the shocking, gasp-out-loud ending!

Imagine waking up with a head wound on a deserted beach, cold, and suffering from retrograde amnesia. Jack Smith, one of the main characters in the psychological suspense thriller, You Will Remember Me, finds himself in this unsettling predicament. I was drawn into the plot from the very beginning. Who is Jack and how did he end up in a small coastal town in Maryland? How will he find out who he really is? The story unfolds through his foggy perspective alternating with those of his lover, Lily ...more

This was so good! One of my favorite thrillers. I thought I knew how it was going to end and then bam last minute twist! I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed that the story was told from three character perspectives and I really feel like helped balance out and complete the story. Thank you Netgalley for the ARC trade for an honest review! This comes out in May and I highly recommend it! ...more

I was born in the UK and grew up in Switzerland. Unsurprisingly I love chocolate, mountains and cheese, and books, of course.

When I moved to Canada with my husband and three sons in 2010 I went through an (early) mid-life crisis. Maybe it was the failed attempt at a start-up company, but one morning I decided to follow my oldest passion; writing - and never looked back.

My first novel, TIME AFTER
