A Must Read
I swear I was prepared for the plot, twists, and turns. Whew it some scandalousness going on in here. The lies, secret, and betrayal will leave you with your jaw dropping. Buck ain't worth a damn. His old ass had no business messing with Halo. Halo was young and naive and Buck used that to his advantage. The abuse and disrespect towards Halo was too much. I'm not surprised by what she had done to him. Halo didn't know anything about dating after dealing with Buck or she would have saw Taviar for the fronting bum ass dude that he was. Meeting ILias was something different for her. I just wished once she realized the connection between ILias, Buck, and Crome. She told ILias the truth. Greer was a trifling, scandalous ass tramp. Crome might kill her when he finds out the truth about their son. I wasn't even surprised at her going behind Halo back thinking she was doing something because the joke was on her and she was jealous of Halo. Halo being her family didn't mean anything. But what Greer did to her own sister was low down. I felt sorry for Persia. I figured out from the beginning that Everett action's towards her was resentment but that did not give him the right to verbally abuse her. Silver and Keylen had no idea how their life was intertwined until Silver got suspicious of her trifling fiancee Damien. The way this ended. ILias figured out the reason Semone popped back up and what Halo was hiding from him.

This was fire but I didn't expect anything less. Man Halo should've told Ilias from the beginning about Buck or at least when he mentioned him in conversation now she might loose a good dude over straight bull. Greer friendly coochie ass needs to be thrown under a bus. That's a ungrateful sneaky jealous bitch. She deserves all the bad coming her way. I had a feeling that Kylen was not the father but i hope he is because he love his daughter. I'm on the fence about Sean though, I don't know if he's right for Persia. Persia just needed to try the d she's been wondering about since high school so I'm glad she got it but i hope she don't get attached cuz he got too much going on in his life. Can't wait for book 2!

Too much & too little
There were way too many characters in this book and no real character development. This one sleeping with that one, this one keeping secrets and it was just too much too keep up with and not enough to get you too invested in any character.
The author could have hinted that this was a multi series book and maybe I would have expected less. The only way I would even read part two was if it was already released because I have a habit of finishing a story even if I don't think it's written well. I can't see myself waiting for the next installment with anticipation like I would with some on my favorite authors. This is my first read from her ans sadly probably my last

Illest
So much going on! I like Halo and Persia’s friendship. Halo is such a strong willed person it’s crazy how Buck planted himself in her life. Ilias and Halo are so funny together. The cliffhanger has me shook! A bunch of hurdles to overcome. Persia and Everett grates me. This break is much needed. Shean seems like a good guy and I love his name! I am here for Shean and Persia! Greer is a mess. I couldn’t predict how messy she was! It’s funny how She and Tavior played each other. I am literally on pins and needles wondering what’s going on with every “situationship” from Halo and Ilias to Silver and Damien.

I recommend this book to naive lovers.
Halo and Buck relationship is crazy, he rapped her and she moved in with him and his six children. I don’t get Halo, is she “slow”, when she takes advise from her aunt Greer who is jealous of her and sarcastically insults her. Halo had two parent household, her mother told her to stand up for herself, she never took her mother’s advice. Halo was young and naive, abused mentally and physically by Buck. Crome and Kylen were duped by their baby mommas. Everett is in denial and Persia tolerated his inadequate personality.

She’s back y’all! Yanking wigs and snatching edges yassss! This book here was an roller coaster ride for that behind! Halo should’ve just been honest about Buck with Illy when he was with her about it ijs smh! I’m sick of Semone and Greer! Imma need Buck to catch some heat or some hands! Maybe both! I was right about three things that happened which surprised the mess out of me! I never do that with her books! I so can’t wait for part 2 because it’s about to be litt! Sensational

Epic Entanglements!!
From page one this book captured and held my attention!! These characters got some serious drama that is unfolding and will leave you on pause PERIODT!!! Buck, Chrome, Semone, Taviar and Greer activated fight mode instantly... Ilais, Halo, Persia, Sheen, Kylen and Silver need to shut and lock the doors to their past so they can conquer their future... I despise Semone more now because of that last scene... Halo need to stop being afraid and do whatever to get from under Buck... Hurry with part 2.... Can’t wait to see how these entanglements play out!!

Deep in love or lust??
For some reason this book seemed longer than others, nevertheless it was still a good one!! Lies, lust, betrayal at its finest. I did like how all of the characters were interconnected, almost like 6 degrees of separation. Buck, Crome, Tavier, Greer are all gonna get what they truly deserve. I hope Persia overcomes this mess of a life she has. Halo... when a man has such a hold on u there is only so much you can do, but she had her chance to lay everything out and she froze. Cant wait to see the explosion in the next book.

A lot of tangled were
I gave this a five star rating because it gave me enough messiness to keep me wanting more. I know this can't be the end, it has to be some more because it's so much left those women were snakes, Vicky, Alexis, Greer, was the worst. Greer, was so jealous of Halo that no matter what it who Halo had she wanted it. I knew Halo's dad was messing with Greer because he was too quick to keep Caleb. Buck and Ilias, have got to see each other again. I hope this has some more because you can't leave this unfinished

I felt bad for Halo having to deal with Buck's vicious ways but she should have to Illiyas from jump about Buck. Greer is super grimy and for no reason at all. You always come through with that fire. Halo should have just told Ilias the truth from jump, she knows he’s a straight shooter and hate liars. Persia should have waited to get with Shean but I know he was a distraction for her but he has a woman and a side piece with issues. Buck and Crome need to be dealt with. Greer is such a hoe and I have a feeling that her days are numbered because she swears she’s God’s gift to all ballers. She is selfish and grimy. I can’t wait til the next book drops to see how this story ends.

The love story between Halo and Ilias included betrayal, greed, and a bit of lust. Before they could get off the ground, outside forces came into play and tried to destroy it. The story moved quickly and had a few interesting characters like Silver, Damien, and Alexis.
I didn't feel any connection between the primary couple, although I liked Ilias and his straight shooter delivery. The story was well structured, moderately paced, and developed from a character and plot perspective. While this was not my favorite story by this talented creative, it may be for you.

OMG! The drama started from the beginning and did not stop until the book ended....I absolutely loved it. There is something going with EVERYONE! This is some Young & the Restless type ish! Wow! Shvonne Latrice you did an excellent job and I am definitely looking forward to reading part 2. Oh, one last thing, I am glad you opted to write about characters that are a little bit older. Great idea!

I knew the book will be great. Ms. Latrice never disappoints. But damn..... and that cliff hanger! And thank you for reminding me that you don’t have to be mixed with good hair or thin in the waist in order to be the main character in a novel! Yessss honey! I would rate this book more than 5 stars if I could. I guess I’m back to low key stalking the author’s social media while feening for the part 2.

This story kept on building and building and if it hadn't ended it was about to explode. Buck is the worst ever, and Greer isn't far behind. I knew the secret about Caleb from the unannounced drop offs!! Halo should pack up and just run for her life and Illias and Semone lil pop up secret has left me SHOCKED!! Great read with some wild characters I can't wait for part two.

These new characters and this story line....whew chile. Buck is a piece of s@#$ from the first time his name appeared in book. Greer smh Greer, Claire gonna beat that ass sister or not. This series is gonna be lit. My girl is going through a lot and catching helliva hell from so many ways. Greer needs to get her karma like a mug cause she is doing way too much. I hope my girl can get her dude back. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of ur books: sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Did it Again!
No one can dial up drama better than Ms. Latrice. Wow, I’m still digesting it all. I would love to see a movie based off this book.It’s just that many movable parts. She’s a genius at keeping her audience at the edge of her seat. Now I must say that Halo’s scary immature butt is getting on my nerves. Unfortunately, she’s still just as dumb as she was when she was 19. So, I can’t wait to read book 2.

Halo Halo was so naive and I was disappointed how she had this old man just bullied and manipulate her and still doing it. She is still naive and even though Ilias said he does not want to know about past relationships, due to who Halo was with she should have come clean so Halo did not blindsided.
There are so much drama with all the couples and surprises surprises OMG. Greer is really trifling and grimy.

This book literally gave me a headache. It was was wayyyy to many characters and too much going on. It was nearly impossible to keep up with this foolishness. Halo get raped the first night meeting Buck…then moves in with him. I should’ve stopped there. But noooo, I kept reading. Greer had a baby by her sisters husband. Chile by. Now Buck who was sentenced to 18 years after 6 he’s possibly headed home…. yeah, no I definitely won’t be read part 2.

This most definitely needs a trigger warning, if or when it is re-released. Because reading those first few pages was tough.
But after you get past that… nothing but pure chaos. So many things are happening and at one time. I cannot wait for Greer’s hating a** to get what is coming to her. Along with Buck, Crome, Damien, and all the rest.
I’m hoping all of the paired off couples get their HEA.

Part one ended with a bang!!!!
I’m team Halo all the way!!! I could tell Buck was no good from the first time she encountered him!!! Illias was definitely an upgrade with his fine self!! Persia is too good for Everett’s bitter self. I loved how everything came to a head at the end, definitely leaving me wanting more. I can’t wait for the second part.

I really enjoyed reading this book it has been a very long time sense I found a book that I didn’t want to put down I read it at work home even while waiting in the car to pick my teenager from work really enjoyed this can’t wait for the next part please don’t take to long with it lol
