Sometimes the strongest warriors come from the most unlikely places…Gabriel Mendoza has had a rough life, living on the streets, and just barely scraping by leads him into trouble for the sixth time. While awaiting sentencing from the judge, his public defender comes rushing into the courtroom and his life will never be the same. You see… his public defender also has a day job… as an angel, sent to Earth to bestow miracles on those who are in desperate need. And she needs Gabriel’s help. She recruits him into helping her by providing miracles to those who ask for them, but along the way, demons try to halt their efforts. Will Gabriel and Dani be able to battle the demons and dark creatures who are determined to stand in their way? Or will their efforts be nothing but futile in the grand scheme of things?

This was a great short story. Not the first time I have read this author and she never fails to deliver. This story was thought-provoking and had meaning to it - spiritual and in kind of good vs evil type of way. I took it as "finding hope and faith when you are down on your luck, and fighting the demons inside you," is what it meant to me. Loved the story. Great book. Will continue to read this author.

This was beautiful! There's a duel meaning throughout the book. It was heavenly and so refreshing. This book made me smile so much because the author used this story to subtly teach and give meaning to some thoughts that you may have only scratched the surface of. Maybe not all of us can be saved and we have free will, but angels on earth definitely sway our thinking and ultimately our way of living and loving.

Interesting Short Story
This is my first time reading this authors work and I must say I really enjoyed this story. It was really interesting reading about angels and demons. Great short story.

A Must Read
Interesting read about angels and demons. Nice to see prayer as the mainline to God. It is a well written story and I thoroughly enjoyed this break from reality.
