And I ask no more. I’m always left speechless and filled with laughter at the antics of the hero and fall in love with their gestures. Abel, in this one, was no different. He took matters into his own hands and didn’t stop till he got the girl of his dreams. It was hot, swoony, funny and so romantic. He undoubtedly was built for love.
I don’t mind her being wary of the male species. Hell, she can keep her guard up around them at all times—except for me. For me, her guard should be on the floor along with her clothes.
Abel has his own construction company which he started with his best friend and is recently assessing a new building when he runs into Pepper who is a tenant there. He is instantly attracted to her and her wastes no time in introducing himself by literally stealing her laundry basket ( which btw was super hilarious) all the while keeping the fact that she’s going to be his future wife to himself.
He wasn’t exactly a jerk, but he did steal my basket. He may be handsome, but that’s beside the point. He’s still a thief.
“Why are the cute ones always crazy?” I mumble to myself.”
“Talking about me?” I scream, whirling around to see the man from outside standing in my doorway, my basket in his hand.
He decides that there’s no way she’s staying in that rundown building when it’s obvious she belongs in his home so guess what he does, he buys the damn building and after finding out she’s a designer, ends up giving her a job too which is a disguise to hide his true intentions.
”Turn you on?” His voice gets deeper.
“It’s you. I’ve been hanging out with you and now your crazy has rubbed off on me.”
“You want to hear my theory?”
“I’m not sure.”
He chuckles. “Maybe you like the idea of a man being so crazy over you that he can’t think of much else but you. Someone that’s willing to do anything to keep you. That wants to make your every dream come true and fulfill your every desire. Then you’d never have to wonder if he’s like your father. You’d never question my devotion to you because you’d know you were my one and only. Just maybe you want me to be a little crazy obsessed.”
Pepper was a breathe of fresh air with her quirky mouth and caring personality. She’s attracted to his rugged looks too but like she said why are the cute ones always crazy. She tries to resist his charm and the fact he wants her to stay at his place while the building gets renovated but once she arrives at his stunning house, all thoughts of leaving flies away. I’m sure I would have done the same cause that was a damn fine house.
”He said his wallet’s big and his dick—“
I cover her mouth with my broad hand. “No, sorry. You can’t talk about another guy’s dick. That’s against the rules.”
“What rules?” she says, her voice muffled by my palm.
I drop my hand away and slide it down to catch her wrist. “The Abel Rules. Rule number one is that no man exists outside of me. Rule number two is to never forget rule number one.”
The more time they spend together, the more his charms and gestures makes their way into her heart. He was attentive, caring, handsome at the same time possessive, OTT, dominating and also a little crazy but he was all hers. They made a super cute couple. There story was filled with laughter, heat and perfect romance.
I hold still. If I was possessive before, I’m going to be a crazy man now. I’m marking her with my mouth and my cock. I’m going to spend so much cum inside of her that she’ll carry my scent.
“Take me home, Abel. Make me yours,” she gasps into my neck.
Her words snap the tether of my self-control. My hips move of their own volition, hammering my cock inside of her.
“You said it, baby. You’re mine now. Now and forever.”
If you haven’t yet read anything by this author, don’t wait any longer. Her books are filled with happiness, hilarious banter, insta love romance. What I love the most is how her hero’s are so bloody crazy, in a adoring way, and even though the heroines are sane at the beginning but as time goes on the crazy rubs off on them too. Her works are similar to Jessa Kane only with less steam but more than enough. So if you enjoy Kane’s work, then you may enjoy hers as well. ♥️
