I grew up living on a farm, so this was one of my favorite books because it was familiar to me. Although I really enjoyed this book, it is not great literature. It does have great pictures though. This book can teach children the valuable lesson of not jumping to conclusions. It can teach them that they need to wait until things play out, instead of creating their own ending in their head.
