It isn't easy to give only three starts to Gettysburg Replies. The concept behind the book is superb. In 2013 the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation asked some 120 people -- educators, authors, students and others -- to write a 272-word essay to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, the most famous oration in American history.
