As a result, she took it hard, isolated herself from everyone and vowed to never be open to love again in fear of ever having to go through the type of pain she had to endure behind Emmett…until she met Emanuel. Emanuel is a self-made boss who worked over-time to achieve his ultimate dream, which was to have his own restaurant. Struggling to pick up the pieces and move on with his life after losing his wife, Emanuel deals with loss and tragedy by pouring into his restaurant and living life day by day. Gemma comes into his life and has his full attention, yet he still feels that settling down is something he is not looking for…until he meets Misha.Gemma is a young, beautiful, and very educated young lady who is looking for someone to not only sweep her off her feet, but to take care of her. Great read

Well written. A few errors, but I was impressed with the author's ability to get into the psyche of the characters. The way she conveyed Sia and Bruce's marriage from both sides and Misha's mind frame after her loss was remarkable. I'm looking forward to learning what makes Gemma tick because she has serious issues. Her relationship with her parents and her line of thinking are way off. Hopefully Emanuel won't be stuck with her for the long run - he learned a hard lesson about cuddling up with associates.
I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't drama for the sake of drama, but dealt with issues that were relatable and believable. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to get to the next installment.

Wow

Bruce done did the most man! I guess that's know thing I'll never understand. If you're not happy, why not just leave. It'll hurt way more when the other finds out. Lawdamercy! I wanted to snatch Gemma through my phone! That girl has serious problems. With Emmet passing, I do believe Misha should grieve fully but at the same time live her life. After all, she is about to become a mother. I just pray Gemma not preggo or if she is, that baby dont be Emmanual's own because she would really screw his whole life up! Now Bruce secret is out and Sia is hurt! What now?! Part 2 me please!

She Chose Him, He Chose Me

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The conversations between the characters in the story were genuine and very detailed. It creates a setting as if the reader is there watching and listening. Misha and her fiance seem like the dream couple until tragedy strikes. Meanwhile Sis and Bruce aren't as happy as they seem. A chance encounter on a girl's night out celebration seems to set things in motion for what will be an amazing book 2!

She Chose Him, He chose Me

Really got into this one. My heart went out to Misha with Emmett life being taken right before there wedding . Sia needs to get clean out of the toxic relationship with Bruce all together. I don't think it will be easy for Emanuel and Misha to hook up I got a feeling Germs will be a thorn in their sides. On to part 2 I got to see how this will end good book

Good start

Thank you for the detailed character development with an in depth look into each of the story's players. I was very happy to see there was a part 2 because each character ended on a cliffhanger. Bruce is wrong and trifling on so many levels, as are Gemma and Leslie. I feel badly for Misha and Sia as it seems they cannot catch a break. I'm ready for the next installment.

Fate

Oh my! A great read from the beginning to the end. I cried right in the beginning when Misha fiancé Emmett got killed. So sad how that happened. My most hated character is Bruce. He had many chances to tell Sia the truth. Now I’m waiting to see how Emanuel and Misha’s relationship unfolds. Great job!

Woowww

I feel so bad Misha lost Emmett like that. I’m glad she has a part of him growing inside her. I’m so mad at Bruce for hurting Sia like that and I hope she is ok from hitting her head. I hope Misha n Emmanuel hook up because they both lost someone dear to them, so I think they will be good together.

Ehhhh

The story premise was good, however if you're not into pages and pages of continuous snapping back and forth, or drawn out repetitive words to describe something this might not be for you. This book I literally swiped thru in 15 min, but I'll keep reading as I love supporting our writers in this genre.

Phenomenal

I loved it from beginning to end. It's hard getting over someone you love so deeply. Emmanuel and Misha seems to be hitting it off. Hope things with Do a and Bruce work out. But it will be a struggle. I know what it's like to be cheated on and the husband makes a child outside of the marriage. Can't wait to read more from this amazing author

Wow the first part for Misha and Emmett, so sad! Sia and Bruce wow! Goes to show what's done in the dark surely comes to light. I can't imagine how this will play out with Gamma and Emanuel, I don't think it's going to be so easy to get away from the crazy! I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next! Great start Loryn Landon!

Wow!!!

I feel so bad for both Misha and Emmanuel I couldn’t imagine the pain they both had to endure. But now with Sia I can’t believe how she had to find out about Bruce that was foul considering she can’t have children. This story started off so wild that I can’t wait to start part 2.

You can't leave me hanging like that. I know if Misha and Emanuel get together, crazy ass Gemma is coming out of the wood works. I gotta see how Sia is going to finish handling Bruce too. Come on part 2.

Good story so far

I hope Gemma gets what she deserves. I don’t know how to feel about Bruce because feelings change sometimes but he was still married and should’ve ended it when he fell out of love, then he wouldn’t be in such a bad space.
