This entry into the series was painfully boring. I would have enjoyed watching Cage struggle by himself with Dyna more than I did when Jemma was included. I didn't get any of the chemistry that I should have but more importantly, I hated how much Jemma hated the MC life and then decided to live that way anyway for "love" that seemed superficial and clinical to me. Once the "action" starts near the end, it was too late and too implausible to save the book. Also, using the kids and the MC member e ...more

Cage is a member of the Blood Fury whose childhood has ensured that he keeps his relationships with woman short and casual. His life is about to undergo a change he isn’t prepared for and never saw coming. With the help of Jemma he may just realize the life he has been living is a pale comparison to the life he could be living.

Jemma may have been born into the MC, but it isn’t the life she wants. Fate and her brother conspire against her and she finds herself back with the MC to help Cage adjust
Nicki - The Overflowing Bookcase
The earliest memory that Cage has of his childhood was his mother walking out the door and out of his life forever and when his infant daughter that he knew nothing about is abandoned into his care his life will never be the same. Jemma also has bad memories from her childhood regarding the MC, so when she finds herself back in Shadow Valley to help Cage, she insists it is only temporary. But being in close quarters finds them both with feelings they should not have. Will the MC life of old be c ...more

Another great addition to the series! This time we follow Cage and some unexpected package land almost on his doorstep. What it is you will have to read in the story as Ms. James landed another bomb here!
This occurrence will bring back home Jemma - sister of our fav Judge! She's the kid of Blood Fury, born and raised there, but she decided to have a different life on her own. When she's back her old feelings are rising, but is it something that she wants to follow? Can her view of MC's life be c

Blood and Bones: Cage by Jeanne St. James

Cage is a man used to having women throw themselves at him. As the Road Captain of the Blood and Bones MC Club, women flock to him for the danger and exoticism of what they perceive an MC club stands for. Happy being single and having his pick of women, a surprise delivery at the club doorstep flips his world upside down.

Jemma is a hospice nurse who uses her empathetic nature to guide loved ones from transitioning their relatives and friends from being

Wow, just WOW! This is the 5th Book in the "Blood Fury MC" series and Jeanne totally hit this one out of the park! From the prologue, Cage (Chris) held my heart in his hand from his mother abandoning both Cage and his brother when they were kids (make sure you have tissues, total tear jerker moment) to when he discovered he had a baby daughter. (Nothing is hotter than a man with a baby in his arms! If I had any ovaries left they would have been exploding all over the place!) I never expected tha ...more

I swear, I don't know how but each one of these guys and the women who fall for them steals my heart! Right from the get go, Cage is basically, what you see is what you get. He's a little arrogant, a little self-involved, a little immature. Not immature in his behavior as in juvenile and silly, more like he had no responsibilities and that was great with him. The reality hits him in the face, hard and he has to put up or shut up. He rises to the occasion rapidly and you can't deny that he does s ...more

I had read the epilogue for Cage several months ago and it absolutely ripped my heart out.
This book is just an emotionally charged, heart breaking story of emotional turmoil, pain, suffering, fear and so much more. It’s also a story filled with unbelievable love! Unbelievable transformations and ultimately the true meaning of family!

I will never look at a rain storm the same way again!!

So much I want to say but I will not spoil this masterpiece. Jeanne St James has an uncanny ability to take

Just when you think you know what is coming next in the BFMC, Jeanne St. James throws you a curve ball you did not see coming, and I wasn't expecting what happens with Cage. Cage has never gotten over his mother walking out on him as a small child never to be seen again. Jemma's dad, OX, never was a father to her. The only true father and mother she had was when she and Judd moved in with their aunt and uncle. She so hated the MC life and vowed that she would never be a part of it. Cage is saili ...more

Another wonderful addition to the Blood Fury MC! Cage and Jemma are great characters and written so raw and realistically - Bravo Jeanne! I love this couple sooooo much. There was such heat and chemistry between the--you could feel their attraction burn thru the pages. Gage and Jemma both have a lot of baggage from their childhoods and Jemma has a very hard time with the idea of life in an MC being anything but trouble and pain. Gage is committed to the MC and his brotherhood but Jemma has an en ...more

I absolutely loved this book. The story was well written and immersed
me in this book from page one until the end.
Cage is the 5th book in the Blood Fury MC series.
Cage is the Road Captain of the Blood Fury MC.
He works at his dad, Dutch, garage fixing cars. He gets to the garage
and sees some of the guys were standing around a cardboard box.
In the box is a baby and a note for Cage. It seems he's the daddy.
Cage broke one of Trip's sacred club rules.
Jemma, Judge's sister, is an RN and between jobs.

I have to honestly say that I did not think I would like Cage but boy does he win you over and you find yourself on team Cage. He is a captivating character and your always wondering what he will do next. Jemma is a perfect match for him and had a few hard decisions to make. It's always the little things that count but will it be enough to win her over. You feel for her and understand her dilemma. These are both endearing characters but you wonder how a couple can survive when at every turn ther ...more

Cage loves his freedom. He has his Brothers, his bike and a choice of any female he wants. They’ll have some mutual fun then she is out the door......he trusted one female, never again. Then one day he arrives at work only to have his world turned upside down. Jemma only comes home occasionally and that is only for a quick visit to see her family..... she hates Manning Grove. She’s only here because her brother Judd has asked her to come can be associated with that club.......her f ...more

My overwhelming feeling toward this great book was my stomach being in hard knots. Hardship, past and present, too hard to overcome that I so wanted to change for Cage and Jemma. Cage's mother running out on him without a goodbye and Jemma's father actually using her to protect himself from police bullets! Cage's lack of money to support his daughter. Jemma's determination not to have anything to do with the MC lifestyle. Both so stubborn, it seemed like a hopeless love. Even an appearance from ...more

With every book Jeanne St James writes, i think i cant love her characters more. And with every book she writes, i do. Cage has been fighting for his place in this MC. He was brought in since he is the son of an Original and made road captain by default. His club president tolerates him. But this book and this situation has made him so much stronger in his club and as a man. He steps up when the surprise of his lifetime is left at his doorstep. Jemma is always escaping. There is honestly not a better author for MC romance books. I adored Jeanne’s Down and Dirty series but I have to say the Blood Fury series is giving the original a run for their money.
Cage is very rough around the edges. Having being raised by his biker father after his mother abandoned him and his brother, I wouldn’t expect Cage to turn out any other way. But boy does he have a beautiful heart. When he was thrown one gigantic curve ball he became the man he was always meant to be. It was humbl

Wasn’t expecting this with Cage. He is single he’s dealing with mother abandonment issues from when he was younger. And then he gets the surprise of a lifetime that completely changes his life.

And we finally get to met Jemma Judge’s sister whom also came from a rough childhood. Jemma and Cage share a similar childhood. Jemma desperately doesn’t want the club lifestyle. And when they both fall hard will Jemma finally face her past.

Or will both her and Cage end up with a broken heart.

This book swept me up and kept me hostage until I read the entire book.
My emotions were all over the place reading this (the laughs, terror at times and sadness at others).
The love in this book for the brotherhood and all the Fury Family was oozing throughout the chapters.
Loved that both Teddy made an flamboyant (as always) appearance and even Adam had a small cameo.
Cage and Jemma went through so many emotions it was mind boggling.
Neither one could ignore the electricity that flowed bet

Cage & Jemma's story simply blew me away. My mind is completely blown. This is a emotional story that jumps from the pages. Both characters are alphas. They come with layers like a onion and emotional baggage make them easy to become fully invested in and connect with. This is the fifth book in the Blood Fury MC series. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the books in order. I don't know what it is about this book but what comes to mind is the expression less is more and Ms. St. James has done it with such flourish telling this story. Any reader will be drawn to Cage's vulnerability and the way he stepped up when life threw him a curveball. Then there is Jemma…I have not had such a visceral reaction to a character as I had with her and her a ...more

Jeanne St James writes great characters and her world building is amazing. I loved the evolution of Cage. Due to surprising circumstances, he has to grow up and mature basically overnight. Huge spoiler and I won’t spoil it but it comes within the first chapters. He’s a typical oversexed biker and his transformation is heartwarming. It’s such an entertaining read and I loved how the MC pulls together to help him out. Jemma was a decent character and I liked her, but she never grew on me like Cage ...more

I fell in love with Cage! I know he’s a fictional character but holy exploding ovaries this man. They way he steps up and is determined to be the best father he can be to his surprise daughter is just beautiful.

I do not know what I was expecting for Cage’s book but it definitely wasn’t this! This book may be my favorite in the Blood Fury MC series thus far! Cage is a product of a broken home who is thrust into fatherhood in a way he never thought possible. Will she see that things have changed and stay for Cage or will it all be too much? This book is ful ...more

Cage is not having a good morning. Strange woman in his bed, late for work and then an unexpected arrival at the garage all combine to set his world on end.
We get to see a bit more of how the actions of the Originals have affected the lives of the current Blood Fury members - and the lengths they're prepared to go to to protect what's theirs. Even when Jemma isn't sure she wants to be Cage's!!

Cage and Jemma

Cage life is forever and when his infant daughter that he knew nothing about is abandoned into his care and brings back the memories and feelings of when his mother left him as a very young child. Jeannie St James did not disappoint!

I expected this to be good, I expected to get wrapped up in Cage and Jemma's story, I expected the characters from the previous books in the series to have an essential part to the storyline. Jeannie St James, you did not disappoint. If anything you exceeded my expectations. You made Cage realistic and multidimensional, struggling to get his act together as a responsible father to Dyna. And with Jemma having to choose between leaving the past behind or choosin

Hell hath No Fury...

Wow! Cage's story was very hard to put down. Life hands him a HUGE curve ball from the beginning and rather than stick his head in the sand, he mans up and faces it head on. Jemma also has a lot to deal with, first with coming back to a family she has been estranged with for many years, then between her and Cage.
The Fury is FAMILY, and the brothers prove this once again. They will die for each other, and they will kill anyone who messes with their own.
