I saw this at the library and it looked kinda interesting to me. Boy was this a disappointment. First off, she mentioned COVID-19 and pandemic more times then I could count in the first section of the book. That's a little crazy to me. Also most her basic cleaning ideas are ones you've heard before or even use. The rest of the book is like a crazy OCD type person. Some of the stuff like take your remote and tap it over the garbage to get crumbs out is a little much for me. I'm sure she'll find her market, but she could have done with more realistic cleaning schedule for people who have a life besides cleaning their house.

Best thing about this book is it's graphic design - good use of font, typography, colors, and design throughout. Wish there was an index of cleaning/disinfecting solutions and what they are used for. Instead of this index, one has to remember what part of the book contained the solution recipe. didn't learn anything practical other than the difference between cleaning and disinfecting. The book goes very in depth into disinfecting on a daily level that is far beyond what the average person will need to and be able to maintain. A lot of the knowledge in this book can be found on the internet in a more straight-forward way.

I already knew most of this info, but it would be a great guide for those who are new with trying to maintain a more sanitary environment. I always thought that I was over the top and borderline crazy when it comes to sanitation, but this manual was affirming and made me feel better about myself. I honestly feel like it promotes too clean of an environment to the point where it borders along the lines of unhealthy. If I followed every single one of these tips, I'd probably end up living in a bubble because otherwise, I'd spend most of my day disinfecting my surroundings. I will say that the page layout and design are very esthetically pleasing, and everything is organized nicely.

I'm a self-proclaimed germaphobe, but this book was too much even for me. If I followed these rules, I would spend 23 hours a day cleaning, and life is way too short for that.

I did get a few good tips from this, though.
